The Big Blue Burger is your basic low-level fast-food patty served along with frozen chips. There is no way to disguise that bottom-of-the-barrel burger taste. It is distinct and disgusting. Moving on to the Coconut Shrimp. Again, this was your lowest-level frozen shrimp with a, no doubt, per-packaged frozen warm-in-bag type sauce. Honestly, I can get better-tasting frozen crap in the frozen seafood section at Publix. Overall, this food is not terrible. It is not swill alert-worthy, but it is thoughtless, brainless fresh-from-frozen food. In fact, it's reminiscent of the slop at Sandbar and Cocoa Seafood. I even asked Shannon if it was the same owner(s) (it's not). I can only surmise that this place was some sort of appanage to the owner, and they are running it blindly, only thinking of the bottom line, not the quality of the foodstuff. The wings just never came out. The pretzel was nice! The medium rare burger came out charred. The 'fish' tacos which in reality were coleslaw tacos as the fish was paper thin.. came out missing half their ingredients (sauce and avocado). The food seems to be pretty typical 'bar food' with a few other beachy options thrown in for good measure. Although they were good, they weren't anything extra special and probably a bit too far away from their normal fare to be a great choice. Food - delicious. Our table had a mix of burger, grilled chicken, loaded fries, beef tacos, tuna tacos and pulled pork. EVERYTHING tasted great, seemed prepared very well. Special kudos to their fries; delicious. Blackened tuna tacos were great; FYI spicy. Pulled pork sandwich was very good. Service - great, friendly and quick. Server was knowledgeable of what they had/didn't have and all in all; good all around. Everything had clean feel; yes including bathrooms. Atmosphere - sport's bar meets beach bar really. I can't help myself to keep coming back here for their buffalo chicken wrap. It's super fresh, the chicken is fried to perfection in buffalo and their ranch dressing has a great hint of garlic. The one downside to this restaurant is the staff doesn't seem to notice/care when there's several tables full of the last customer's food and trash. I enjoy sitting outside- they have a great patio.
