Tip A Few 2, 6890 North Atlantic Avenue Cape Canaveral, FL 32920 1/2 Star Tip A Few 2 is located in a dreary stretch of A1A in Cape Canaveral just a hop, skip and a jump south of Launch Pad #29 one finds a wearisome dive, Tip A Few 2. The name would imply that this is the second of a local chain, alas, I couldn't find hide nor hair of Tip A Few 1. Missing the obligatory "bar & grill" or at least "tavern" in their name I thought was a nice twist to the local dive bar slop houses that pepper the Space Coast. However, upon entering I realized it wasn't due to any creative thinking on the owner's part but rather their ability to only serve beer, wine and White Claw. As the bastardized dialog skittered across my thoughts, I was greeted by a pleasant lady going by the moniker of Michelle. Michelle was amiable, charming, efficient and on top of her game. Of course, it's easy to look good when you only have two customers. I kid, I am sure she is just as professional and personable during happy hour. As they did not have a full bar, I sat down guessing that the food had to be the draw here. Whelp. I was wrong. The food sucks as well. Not putting much faith in bar food, to begin with, I ordered the American staple of a Classic BLT on white toast. I am the first to admit that other than my love for food, the other driving force behind my quest to review every restaurant in Florida, is my utter and complete inability to do anything more complex than boiling water or making toast in the kitchen and sometimes even that is hit or miss. With that said, I dare you to take a peek at the picture. Honestly, I couldn't make something this disgusting if I tried. The bacon was chewy, not crispy. The only way bacon gets to this texture is one of two ways. It is either done in the microwave (the horror), or it is sitting on the counter or under a warming light for a few hours. Either way, you should lose your food permit for serving meat candy in such an atrocious condition. The lettuce was your standard iceberg, which isn't bad, but certainly isn't something a restaurant should be using. All things bread-related begin with bread. A sandwich is made or sunk on the encompassing shingle. I don't know if this even qualified as bread. This stuff wasn't even Wonder Bread. This is some bottom-of-the-barrel Sysco crap. I wouldn't feed this to the pigeons in the park. No drinks and garbage fare leads one to question what the point is of even coming here. The Big Boy says, "Grab a six-pack of Natty Light or a Fifth of Jack and stay home. Tip A Few 2 is pitiful."

This is a little hole in the wall you might miss it! Anything you get from here is so good! When I stayed on the cape I always came here. There is a lot of older people who come and live music plays. It's a small restaurant but so good! It's a wine/beer bar but when we asked for Riesling the waitress didn't know what we were talking about.. kinda weird. Their burgers, shrimp, fish, and pretzels are all good and fresh! Highly recommend.

    Beyond burger it's delicious!

Yesterday we went to Tip a Few 2 in Cape Canaveral on A1A (maybe cocoa beach? It's kinda close to the line) anyway.. we've been there a handful of times and every single time it's a fantastic experience. We usually go early in the afternoon. Amy is always there and she is just the sweetest! She's completely awesome, entertaining, friendly, fast, efficient & she can work a bar! We usually just go for a beer or two but today we were a bit hungry so we both ordered the "veggie burger" they use the Beyond burger and it comes on this giant bun that they dry toast beautifully and they pack it with lettuce, tomato, onion & shredded lettuce. This burger is seriously amazing, AND can you see the crunch on these fries?! They're perfect!!!! I was super happy when I saw a plant based option on the menu and super stoked when I got a beyond burger! (They're my favorite) the prices were more than fair, the service is awesome and the place has good ambience. It's a little divey, but kinda upscale divey if that makes sense. Hands down winner in my book!

Fried pretzels. Not your typical soft pretzel but very good and actually liked the texture.

We stopped here while visiting and found this cute hole in the wall place. They had a variety to choose from and it was just what we were looking for after being on the road for almost 9 hours. The wings were crispy and delicious. Salad was very fresh and you could turn a salad into a wrap. Our waitress was outstanding and very down to earth. The setting was layer back and chilled. They had live music. Once the guy warmed up to the crowd, he did pretty good. Would for sure come back when visiting.

An ok place to go. Mostly locals and they get served first. Not much of a menu but fits the atmosphere. I'd go again, but not in a hurry.

We had quite a wait for the food but once we tasted it, we realized it takes time to get that level of quality food. The wait was the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. Don't let the casual outside fool you, the interior is quiet, modern decor with a view to the impressive pizza oven in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend Jolie's American Bistro.

The 321 Lime House (which I will shorthand to 321 for the remainder of the review) is the taproom dedicated to one of the more popular ciders sold anywhere, more so that it is actually offered almost everywhere in Florida, Caribe. Even though 321 is located inside Carib Brewery, it is still recognized as its own independent establishment instead of a taproom piggy-backing off the Carib name (though it really doesn't matter). As a taproom, it does an excellent job showcasing what Carib has to offer. However, compared to other breweries/distilleries and their taprooms, 321 is lacking when it comes to selection as they seem only interested in featuring only their alcoholic line. First and foremost, getting to 321 might be a bit confusing. For starters, it is located off the main road and more so in the "industry district" of Cape Canaveral. To top it off, 321 is located within the gated area of Carib Brewery. You might think you can't enter because it seems like Carib Brewery looks like a factory on the outside, but the East gate is usually open and there is a part of the brewery that stands out as more... well... taproom-ish? Bar-ish? I guess those are the right words. To be fair, the outdoor seating, which doesn't look much like a biergarten to me, is what helps identify where 321 is. Upon entering, there is a large area with a nook reserved as a store on the left, a centralized bar in the middle, a stage for live shows and performances on the right, and more seating scattered about the floor. You can actually see the assembly/work line of Carib Brewery from the 321 taproom floor as they do not block it off, but show patrons what is going on behind-the-scenes through Plexiglas. With this much space, it is evident 321 is designed to have some amazing parties, events, and get-togethers. There might even be a wider array of food and drink options at that time, but on a regular day, this is where the "OK" rating comes in. As mentioned earlier, it seems 321 only features their line of brews to serve. Though they have a nice selection, it does limit their choices. You'll only get their line of brews so that means choices in Carib (pineapple cider, mimosa), Stag, Makeson, and Shandy. For food, very limited from what I saw. It only looks like they have bags of chips and popcorn. I guess they do not have a dedicated kitchen to make the meals and bar foods the other breweries make. It is possible they might have food trucks out in front on certain days and times (like The Dirty Oar for example), but there was none the day I went with Charles, and I didn't ask. Overall, it was a good visit. I say it is "OK" because it seems to be on the lines of other "OK" taprooms such as The Dirty Oar and Bugnutty Brewing Company. Not saying it is bad, just saying it is average and that is a norm. However, if I return numerous times and they are consistent, I will definitely give them their fourth star for consistency at least.

But... seems like every time I come back there are less and less beers. I am worried that they are not going to make it and for craft beer enthusiasts this is the best thing in the area. Especially because anything else close is 20 plus minutes away. With that being said, this would be a great place for groups or to start a low key date. There is craft beer, wine, cider, THC beverages and they even have a few mixed drinks as well as JELLO SHOTS! All the mixed drinks are wine based liquor which is quite progressive. They don't really have food, but there is a Publix in this same mall area, plus about 5 other restaurants including: Chinese, Japanese, sushi, burgers, Thai, pizza and donuts. To give you an idea of how it works, you give them a form of payment, they give you a card and you serve your own draft by the ounce. It is a great concept because you can pour yourself as much or a little as you want. And it tracks your spending so there are no surprises at the end of your visit. In addition, there are TVs, a jukebox and games. Tipping is optional, but there is friendly service and every couter person I have interacted with has been fantastic. I would highly recommend this hidden gem and with more support, especially from the craft beer culture, maybe this place will survive. And to be perfectly transparent, this is mostly because I selfishly want a convenient place to get craft beer on draft. Come visit Tap that Beer House, it is an experience all it's own.

Firstly, our server was really sweet and she got super busy minutes after we sat down. She did her very best but there were times that we were sitting for a long period of time without being checked on. This wasn't her fault what so ever. It is a very slow rollin restaurant. For instance, we had some apps and dinner and we were there for almost 2 hours. I have served my entire life and typical turn around for a table who isn't drinking should be 45 mins to an hour max (just my opinion from my experience). The food was amazing when it did arrive. The only thing I would comment on is the shrimp which you cannot tell in the picture but I believe this location goes through a lot of old bay if they pour as much as they did in our peel and eat. It was SO salty I had to dip it in my glass of water to even eat it. Other than that, the food was amazing as always. I have seen a lot of people complaining on here specifically about food temps etc but that was not our experience. The only thing I would suggest is to put the Mahi Rueben on this locations menu. That should be criminal making satellite and Melbourne residents drive to the cocoa beach location for that incredible sandwich We would definitely go again but this time it would likely just be apps for the meantime because we are hangry people and 2 hours is a bit too long for us personally.
