Really cool place. Food was good, reasonably priced. Drink menu lacked descriptions and the person taking my order wasn't helpful. If you like spooky stuff this is a good place. The back of the menu has the story of the haunted building. Upstairs was so cool, hanging plants and nice view

Found this gem while driving through Rockledge. Nice home feeling with friendly staff. Drinks came out fast. Food was absolutely amazing. Wife loved the shrimp and chicken parm was well made. We will be coming back here for sure.

Quaint restaurant in Rockledge, Florida. Comfort food and cozy very casual atmosphere. Fast service and friendly. We went for breakfast service and ordered their corn beef hash special which is our go to breakfast wherever we go. Can't wait to try their dinner service. We didn't get to experience the friendly spirit today but it's fun to look at round and wait to see if something pops up.

Irish nachos. Omg... Huge portion! Very good though.

Cute place. Awesome wait staff and service. A little toasty in the attic. Food was very good. You won't leave hungry.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Apparently, the Yelp Skynet a.k.a. the AI that green or red flags reviews, doesn't like the actual name of this pub despite the fact it is the pub's name. Ergo, I will use the abbreviation VI for the remainder of this review. Besides that, you really can't go wrong going to any of the pubs in Historic Cocoa Village. VI is one of the pubs on the eastern side of the Village, in between the famous Fat Donkey's Ice Cream and the furthest east pub in the village, Ryan's. Appearance-wise, the outside fits primarily with the building, but there are some minute details that give it its own personality, primarily around its name. There is also a section of the road and sidewalk that have been garrisoned for VI as outdoor seating and games such as bean bag toss. Indoors, it is definitely your kinda pub that many of the patrons are friends. The right side (East) have long tables with many pub and drinking games such as Hook & Ring and Shut The Box. There is a bookshelf filled to the brim with board games in case patrons prefer traditional or childhood classics. The left side (West) is the "Patio," a room that is decorated by numerous plants, neon lighting, widker and a black-and-white checkerboard floor. Finally, the middle of the pub is the actual bar, in the form of an L-shape serving a nice arrangement of beers from many breweries, cideries, distilleries, and meaderies across the United States. I had the Kentucky Vanilla Barrel Cream Ale by Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co. Other beer selections I would recommend include the Pineapple Cider by the famous Carib Brewing Co. and the Mango Cart by Golden Road Brewing. Personal note on the latter: Mango Carts, well for me, only taste good when straight from the tap. Cans are not good. And the food, it is minimal, but boy does VI know how to tug at my heartstrings as everything they have features, or could feature, cheese. They have pretzels with cheese, pickles with cheese, and my personal favorite, grilled cheese sandwiches. And for the more sophisticated patron, they have numerous choices in charcuterie boards, too. I will also state the drink prices are a bit on the high side compared to some other places I been to. And there are two restrooms that are single-serving and gender-specific. I don't believe the latter has to be gender-specific because they are single-serving. The barn doors are an interesting choice because they are not very good at blocking sound. I guess that is why VI blasts the music so nobody can hear the flatulence. Speaking of music, VI does have a small corner stage for small acts, possibly singular, to perform. Unless there is a pull-out large stage for outdoor performances, I don't see big bands, per se in higher number of members, performing here unless they can all jam in that tight-spaced stage. Ultimately, I am going to give VI three-out-of-five stars for this review. They are a solid pub that has all the fixin's of a good bar to go to. Maybe it is safe to say they really don't stand out too much, especially amongst the more unique bars in Historic Cocoa Village. But still, a good place to have a drink with friends with that "Everybody knows your name" kinda vibe.

I had the meatballs with the whipped ricotta on focaccia and loved every bite. The chipolte chicken sandwich had such fresh defined flavors. The sweet potato fries were super crisp, hot and flavorful. Both kids meals were more than enough for my pre-teen grands. We had quite a wait for the food but once we tasted it, we realized it takes time to get that level of quality food. The wait was the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. Don't let the casual outside fool you, the interior is quiet, modern decor with a view to the impressive pizza oven in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend Jolie's American Bistro.

We were able to get a picnic table for the group and while it was a little loud, it wasn't so bad that we couldn't hear each other across the table. The food was OK.. the gochujang chicken was probably the best thing. The person felt that the grouper sandwich was just ok, the fries that he got with it were pretty good - more like thick potato chips than fries. The pretzel bites were a little overcooked and thus very chewy. The chips had a great seasoning, but otherwise, they were chips. The beers were interesting and pretty unique. I logged them all to Untapped app. In terms of "service"... you order and pay at the counter and they bring your order to your table. It seems expected to bus your own table before leaving. No servers seem to be available, for anything you need you need to go back to the counter to ask. I'd go back for beer, though.

Not a drinker (you're in the wrong place, ha!), no problem, as they have non alcohol beverages / mixers as well as Mocktails! I ordered their Florida Gold Rum ($12.00). But... seems like every time I come back there are less and less beers. I am worried that they are not going to make it and for craft beer enthusiasts this is the best thing in the area. Especially because anything else close is 20 plus minutes away. With that being said, this would be a great place for groups or to start a low key date. There is craft beer, wine, cider, THC beverages and they even have a few mixed drinks as well as JELLO SHOTS! All the mixed drinks are wine based liquor which is quite progressive. They don't really have food, but there is a Publix in this same mall area, plus about 5 other restaurants including: Chinese, Japanese, sushi, burgers, Thai, pizza and donuts. To give you an idea of how it works, you give them a form of payment, they give you a card and you serve your own draft by the ounce. It is a great concept because you can pour yourself as much or a little as you want. And it tracks your spending so there are no surprises at the end of your visit. In addition, there are TVs, a jukebox and games. Tipping is optional, but there is friendly service and every couter person I have interacted with has been fantastic. I would highly recommend this hidden gem and with more support, especially from the craft beer culture, maybe this place will survive. And to be perfectly transparent, this is mostly because I selfishly want a convenient place to get craft beer on draft. Come visit Tap that Beer House, it is an experience all it's own.
