Ducked in to try the food and drink and eyeball the spot. Cousin Mike runs the bait and tackle shop next door with Pat, and I've watched this place be built. Super exciting!
So I like how they spruced the place up. I understand it is a work-n-progress, so pretty good so far.
The beer is cold. I enjoyed some Mango draft beer and it was pretty tasty and plenty cold, and served in a pint glass, so well done.
Jen was my attractive and attentive bartender, she does a great job.
The beers are a little on the pricy side for the neighborhood, but inflation is a thing so they get a pass.
They added a food trailer outside to act as their kitchen. Jen suggested the double-smash burger with cheese, and bacon for $18+. I was a little taken aback by the price point as I was in Fellsmere and not South Beach Miami, but I promptly stfu once I tasted it, delicious and well worth the price.
The place is small, offers beer and wine only and is off the beaten path but well worth it.
And check out Cousin Mike if you need a bass-fishing guide. Thank me later.
See you there.
