We're glad to see that some restaurants in the Lahina area are opening. This place had some very unique choices and really good flavors. The servers were all very attentive and our orders came out very quick. As expensive as it is to eat out in Maui we felt that we deserved a good meal which we did tonight. Thank you Coco Deck.:) :) :) read more

I will be coming in person tomorrow. We just got in to Lahaina last night. Myself and my 17month old daughter got food poisoning and our symptoms began on the plane ride over last night to my husband's delight. I haven't been able to eat anything. I finally got an inkling of an appetite and was looking to postmates bc I still feel pretty ugh. When you postmates you kind of make the trade off knowing the food can't show up super delicious after all of the hand offs, drives, and waits involved. Well i was wrong about that. The food showed up hot and delicious - even the fries?! HOW?! I got the birria tacos and the assassin burger. One of the best burgers I've ever had. And the tacos were phenom as well. Your first meal post food poisoning is always a little nerve racking but this was an epic epicurean endeavor. I just looked them up and saw they have a keiki area which I think is so thoughtful. As someone who worked in restaurants for almost half of my life I understand the trade off they've made and think other patrons should acknowledge that too. Creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages people to hang out builds community BUT it takes dollars out of the owners pockets. The keiki zone could have been several more tables. Putting in couches and having a 'stay for the game' environment is one that many restaurants avoid with a turn and burn philosophy. All that to say - the food was incredible - and all signs point to the people behind it being pretty legendary themselves. So happy Lahaina has this lighthouse as they continue to recover. Please go support this restaurant! You will be happy you did. read more

My husband and I loved this place! It was one of our favorite meals during our stay in Maui. The fish tacos and mai tai's were delicious. The service was great as well. It was a cute restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and a nice bar. read more

Coco Deck - Mexican Near Me - Lahaina, Hawaii

the food was pretty good but didn't really match the price point, and the menu was very limited. i understand things cost more for the location, but still seemed a little high to me. on a positive note, our server, michelle, was very kind and kept our table maintained at all times. she even took our 2 and 4 year old children over to their keiki zone so that dad and i could continue enjoying the football game. the entertainment for the kids was a huge bonus. read more

The service was good, the food a big disappointment. The Brussel sprout salad was decent but if it had been colder and the sprouts cut up would have been better. Some not really roasted. The fish and chips were a joke, one small piece of fish a few fries, for $24.50 expected better fish, very fishy. My Mai Tai was good, but that was not worth 84$. read more

Great food- we were tired of the overpriced Kaanapali and Kapalua restaurants and came to Coco Deck and so glad we did. Great food- especially the Poke Donut, the smashburger, the strawberry watermelon salad, questions & chips and for desert the coco toast. We're going back later this week to try more things n the menu. Relaxed, delicious and a breath fresh air on our trip. read more

Tonight was our 2nd visit during our 9-day stay and it once again did not disappoint! We were blessed to have Fernanda as our waitress both nights and she was incredible! She takes the time to know her customers and her smile is infectious! She remembered our likes and dislikes from one visit to the next. Our food was delicious both nights: unique flavors and fresh ingredients. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at the same table both times (although people need to practice a little aloha while driving-we watched a lot of near misses as the nearby intersection!). Love seeing a small piece of Front St in Lahaina persevering and succeeding! read more

A Culinary Paradise: COCO DeCk - The Crown Jewel of Island Dining After dining our way across the island, from beachfront cafés to world-famous fine dining institutions, we can say with full confidence: COCO DeCk is hands down the best restaurant on the island--yes, even better than the beloved Mama's Fish House. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm island hospitality and an inviting, laid-back atmosphere that somehow still felt upscale. But the real magic begins when the food hits the table. Each dish at COCO DeCk is a masterclass in flavor, freshness, and creativity. The seafood is unimaginably fresh--like it was pulled from the ocean mere minutes before plating. The flavors are bold yet balanced, tropical yet refined. Every bite tells a story of the island's bounty, elevated by culinary expertise that rivals (and in our opinion, surpasses) any other dining experience on Maui. The grilled local catch, served with a pineapple-chili glaze and perfectly seasoned taro mash, was cooked to absolute perfection--flaky, juicy, and kissed by fire. The coconut shrimp? A revelation. Light, crispy, and paired with a housemade mango chutney that's borderline addictive. And don't get us started on dessert--their passionfruit crème brûlée should be illegal. Silky smooth, with a crackly caramelized top and that tangy tropical zing that leaves you speechless. COCO DeCk isn't just a restaurant. It's a feast for the senses, a celebration of island flavors, and a testament to what happens when love, talent, and incredible ingredients come together. It blew away every expectation we had--including those set by some of the island's most hyped eateries. If you eat at one place while you're here, make it COCO DeCk. This is where the island eats--and where the bar for island cuisine has been officially raised. read more

Was recommended by a friend, and we expected slightly more because of the recommendation and who it came from. However, the food was just so so and each dish seem to be lacking a little bit of something we had the burger the Smashburger the meat patties weren't seasoned well and they will cook through. They didn't ask us although Smashburger is always cooked through. We asked to happen without the sauce and it came with the sauce. We had to send it back. The fries were cold, the first time around and remain cold the second time The donut with the pokey was decent. That was probably the best part. It was an appetizer the fish and chips were just mediocre and then we had the shrimp dish which was underwhelming so it wasn't a bad meal, but we expected more based on the recommendation so for us it was a mess not a hit and the drink seemed kind of water down it was a version of an espresso martini, but we understand the owner did some great things during the challenges of the fires and we commend him for that and hopefully the food will improve, but the service was terrific read more

We had a party of ten and they were able to seat us quickly. We found the place on accident and were very glad we did. Grace was our server and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. The whole staff was great. The place has tons of TVs with all the sports on. Super cute kid area. Food was very good. The birria ramen wasn't a hit, but the burgers and salads were great. We would definitely come back next time we are in Maui. read more

Fantastic food and the service is great! Fun spot to watch's sports on the big screens and amazing g view! Zig and Brian are awesome!

If I could give this more than five stars, I would! The food, service, ambience, and the prices were amazing! We happened upon it during happy hour- and enjoyed almost an entire meal for three with drinks for $30! Five dollar margaritas are not to be missed. The $10 nachos are crazy delicious and unbelievably the five dollar fish tacos were some of the best. It's rare to have excellent service, food, price. Our food arrived very quickly as well. Even on a short trip here to Maui, we will be back ! read more
