I was so happy when I found out that CoCo, one of my favorites in NYC, opened up in Bellevue. This is the bubble tea shop in Bellevue that I visit the most because of the convenient parking and consistent bubbles. The parking here is located around the block in the Marriott hotel, and you follow the sign for free retail parking. There's no need for validation, just go in and out. The bubbles here are always top notch and just the right balance between chewy and soft. They also give a generous portion of bubbles and I find myself with a bunch left at the end. The same can be said about the milk tea--creamy but still featuring strong tea notes. Most importantly, the taste and flavor are consistent which can't be said about some of the other places around Seattle. I prefer 50% sugar here. I also like the taro with sago but nearly always end up getting their signature black milk tea instead. read more

I'm so glad I tried Coco!! I ordered the roasted milk tea with grass jelly at 70% sweetness level. It was amazing. Perfect tea or milk ratio. The grass jelly was delicious but I knocked down 1 star because the I wished they gave more grass jelly. I only had a few pieces in my drink. Not worth the extra $0.50.... Got an afternoon pick me up today at a new boba spot! It's really small inside and the line and crowds of who's ordering and who's waiting for their drinks is unorganized. But I don't think their could be a better system than what they have going on. Right when you walk in they have a huge cute neon light sign of their tea brand that I was excited to take my picture of my tea with. It looked like their was a long line to order, but it was just people waiting for their order. Again, super unorganized. I ordered the Sago Mango Green Tea and my Husband got their Fresh Lemon Green Tea. We waited for a good ten minutes for our drinks, not bad of a wait at all with all the traffic they had already. I got a good shot of my drink and their sign and I was happy with my visit! The mango sago drink is so refreshing. Not too sweet and green tea was not too overpowering. The sago was so good, the drink pairing is so delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed every sip. Glad I didn't add boba because they add a good amount of sago it would have been too many bubbles in my drink and no tea. Definitely can't wait to go back. I don't know if I want to try a new drink next time because this was just so good, and you know what they say - if it ain't broke , don't fix it. If any of you are wondering about parking, there is south side building parking you can park in for free for 20 minutes max. Love that Coco made it to my city!! I had this in Asia and I loved it. Coco has really yummy chewy boba. I got the Lemon King with boba and that's all I've been craving. It's lemon tea with a whole lemon in it. I'm definitely a fruit tea gal and always opt out on milk teas but my boyfriend really liked the coco milk tea which was regular milk tea. I love the tall slender cups!! Coco is super good and addicting. It might be a little more expensive than like oasis but you can taste the difference. expect a wait, don't get mad or fussy because good places usually have a longer wait. FYI: parking is located in the courtyard hotel parking garage. I happened to find some empty parking spaces right behind coco by the garage. This is my go to boba place. I prefer this one than the tapioca express. I would say it's similar to sharetea but very limited to favors which are really good! and toppings too. I really like their grapefruit yakult and milk tea with coconut jelly. The shop is small, very cozy, clean, and cute. The cashiers are a lot friendly and sweet too. So excited to have another bubble tea shop pop up! Plus, it's located a block or two from the Bellevue Transit Center. I visited CoCo during during their grand opening, and took advantage of their BOGO event. I ended up getting the 3 Guys (my recommendation), and the free drink was their regular pearl milk tea. On my second visit, I tried their 2 Ladies and their Green Tea Macchiato (also discounted for their opening). I noticed they had a bulk batch of their milk tea sitting in ice, which is understandable, due to the huge lines during grand opening. But, hopefully, they don't continue to let it sit and dilute like that in the future. That being said, the black milk tea was still surprisingly good! And their boba was a good texture and flavor. The tea in the Green Tea Macchiato also stood out. You also have the options to adjust your ice and sweetness level here. So far, the drinks and boba have been consistent! Almost or even on par with Sharetea, but more expensive. Regardless, yay to another good milk tea shop in the area! read more

I used to like Coco, but service speed in this store is just too slow, there were around 10 people in front of me, but I waited for like 20 minutes to get to cashier! And waited for extra 10 mins for the drink. The milk tea was pre-made, and they only need to put boba into the cup, and add milk tea then it's done, which should take at most 2 mins. But they kept me waiting for like 10 mins. Finally my drink was ready, and I was right beside the pick up window with my number, but they just don't call the number to serve. Since I had my parking time limit, I directly asked if I could take it immediately, otherwise I don't know how long they would keep me waiting. The 3 star is mainly for the serving speed. I do like Coco when I was in China, but I highly doubt if I would go to the Bellevue store again, and spend 30 mins for just a cup of bubble tea. read more

Awful service. They are incredible slow, and they got my order wrong, but refused to change it when I asked them to. My friend didn't like her smoothie - it was with the milk (wth?!), and no one even let her know about it. They refused to exchange it and a he had to get the new drink. I don't know if I got a bad batch or if this place is way overrated, but I ordered and bubble gaga and jasmine milk tea today and both tasted like bbt that was sitting there for 3 hours and all the ice had melted...HELLA WATERED DOWN. Couldn't taste the jasmine at all, it only tasted like evaporated milk. Didn't taste any sweet or sour like a passionfruit drink should in the bubble gaga either. I ordered it with less ice too and it still tasted watered down. I stopped by because my friend told me their tea is good. I MIGHT give them a second chance because maybe they were having a bad day, but I feel any franchise/chain should have better quality control than this. I love boba, but sadly CoCo missed the mark. Parking was super difficult because they are right on a super busy road. Once you finally make it into the shop it is small and some of the workers were less than friendly. I can look past all of that if the boba is outstanding, but unfortunately I got a pearl milk tea and the boba was hard and not squishy and wasn't very sweet with the usual boba flavor. I did come near the end of the day so maybe the boba was just left out for too long, but overall did not enjoy my experience. read more

Finally a serious contender to the other top bubble tea places (Drive thru and ShareTea, IMO). I came on a Saturday and line was out the door. I ordered the regular boba milk tea, one with 70% sugar and the BF ordered with 100% sugar. It was my first time trying the bbtea so I was worried it would be too sweet like ShareTea. It turns out that it was just right at 100% sugar! I love how the boba was slightly sweet too. We also ordered the Taro slush and the passion fruit/mango slush for my friends and they both liked the drinks even at 100% sugar. The place is clean however small. I've been seeing and hearing people rave about Coco but haven't had a chance to come until recently because I live pretty far. As others had mentioned, parking is a little tough here. I got the brown sugar milk tea with boba and honestly it was really good. The boba was very chewy and sweet but in a good way. It was perfect to my tasting. The reason for my low rating is for the experience. My friend asked the cashier about two drinks. Mind you she is new. My friend went on saying, "oh I don't like sago so I'll have a ____". When he got his order, it was the drink with sago and he told them that it wasn't the drink he wanted. The women who appears to be the manager said, "that is not our fault. We always repeat the order to make sure". I commented saying "it's not the drink that my friend wants" and the manager said "there's nothing we can do. We repeat our order every time". My friend may have misheard the cashier but to be honest, she was new and was extremely quiet. When I ordered I had to look on the screen to make sure. Either way, their customer service is horrible. It's not hard to remake a drink. Especially the fact that there was no other customers waiting after we picked up our order. Personally, I would not come back even if their drink is good. So happy that I finally got to try this place! Their sago milk tea is amazing, I got it with grass jelly. I also got the matcha milk tea with boba. My friend got the same thing plus a yakult tea she said no other place will top CoCo. You are able to pick how much ice you get and the sweetness level. I would recommend getting 50% sweet because 70% got to sweet after a few sips. I think their large cups are super cute, I like how they're tall and skinny. The place has a cute CoCo background to take pictures and is super clean inside. The staff are kind and quick, they are also willing to answer any questions you have. I've been to coco twice now and both times I've had an unpleasant time due to the service. The first time, my order was given away to someone else after waiting for a long. The first time I went here I ordered the coco milk tea which is just their black milk tea without topping and my friend got the caramel milk tea and we both got 70% sugar. I originally wanted 80%, but their best lowest was 70% so that is what I went with. Let me just say their their drinks are not as sweet as other boba shops in Seattle (I.e sharetea, chatime, ambrosia, oasis, etc.). My 70% coco milk tea tasted like it would be 30% or 0% at these other boba shops that I mentioned above. With that being said, the drink was bland and wasn't too enjoyable and that was the case with the caramel milk tea. I decided to come back and bc I was in the area and I got taro milk tea at 100% and my niece got grapefruit green tea with coconut jelly at 100% (they use fresh grapefruit instead of purée). These drinks were honestly the best!! The taro was the perfect sweetness and sooo creamy! Definitely my favorite taro of all the boba shops I've been to. Grapefruit green tea was so refreshing and it was tart since they use real grapefruit which I love. Their coconut jelly does not taste generic. It had a different flavor to it, but it wasn't bad! Fast forward I came back with another friend and she got the matcha milk tea with pearls at 100% and the pearls were the perfect texture and it wasn't flavorless. Lines can be long, in which case, it's not worth the wait, however, when there is a short or no line, good milk teas. TIP: get the black tea latte to get your milk tea with fresh (read:not powdered) milk instead of the pearl milk tea. The 3 guys is awesome! Super good price for all the topping but i don't like the regular milk tea. Adjustable sugar level which is standard for most (if not all) bubble tea places. They have other toppings like sago and grass jelly as well which not all bubble tea places have. Overall, i like it. Not my favorite, but within my top 5. Service is good as well. I like their boba but SLOW service. They won't give you your order unless the numbers before you received their drink. They had 8 drinks ready, some before my number and some after, yet they decided to hold the drinks until everyone got theres. So i don't recommend going when you're on a time crunch and you see a lot of people waiting. This location is a little tucked away and I've never seen it get crazy (it did just open recently) but I love all the fun variations they have! I would recommend adding 'macchiatto' to one of your bubble teas - it's sort of a creamy/salted caramel-y substance that can top any of your drinks and it's sublime. I tried the regular and matcha milk teas so far and love them! It is pretty pricey though but creamy and delicious! The tapioca was also very fresh! read more

The teas here are delicious. I love the roasted milk tea with grass jelly, and the brown sugar pearl latte and the milk tea with fresh taro when they're available. They also have monthly specials on certain drinks. I do wish they had lychee jelly, but the coconut jelly is good too. I'll keep coming back here for sure! read more

Went during soft opening on a Friday around 2pm... so this review not for peak hours. Parking was ample inside the Marriott Courtyard but you have to walk around the building, no shortcuts. Ordered a Taro Sago with extra Boba, 30% sweet. There were so many choices but I wanted something without caffeine. Waited 10 minutes or less. Best Boba in the whole Seattle/Bellevue area!! Perfect texture, perfect sweetness, no powdery taste, just perfect like the ones you can get in California. I could see parking being an issue during peak hours but they were fully staffed and getting close to smoothing things out. Compared to the other boba shop in DT Bellevue, this is a dream! Long hours, open all days of the week, full staff, and lots of choices that doesn't run out. Better Boba texture (I think the other shop is too sticky).
