We had a great dinner with friends on Saturday celebrating Valentine's Day. We sat at a grill table and had reservations. We ordered the rangoon and wings as appetizers. I really loved both! My husband and I orders for dinner shrimp, bulgogi, and asparagus. My favorite by far was the shrimp. I also love the sauce, rice, and additional items they bring to the table for the grill. I left totally full but not stuffed...which is always wonderful! We would love to go back and sit at a normal table and get some of the different dinner options.

The food was excellent quality i was genuinely impressed! Before going i didn't think it would be worth it, but the quality of meats they have make it 100% worth your time and money! The drinks were also fantastic - highly recommend the Suki if you like something sweet. Waiter was great and he explained everything well since it was our first time. Vibes were perfect for a group dinner - there was 6 of us and it was a great time!

The BEST spot for a celebration. I highly recommend booking a karaoke room! It's so easy to book online, definitely book ahead of time as these rooms are popular on the weekends! We had our own server that delivered drinks to the karaoke room, and it was awesome that we didn't have to leave the room to get drinks at the bar. The fun never takes a break while you're here! I cannot wait to spend another night celebrating here and try their food! Everything looked and smelled amazing, and food can be ordered in the karaoke rooms as well!

We checked out All You Care to Eat at Cobra yesterday evening - something that they have for $48 every Wednesday! We made a reservation a while ago but there were plenty of tables open when we went. How it works is that everyone at the table must do the AYCTE option. Everyone receives 4 oz of each beef cut (butcher's cut chuck-eye yesterday) and marinade cut (miso shrimp and pork shoulder galbi yesterday) to start with and after finishing the first round and all your meat is cooked, you can order another round of one item each. You can continue to reorder more rounds after you finished the previous round until your 90 minutes is up. The four of us were able to finish the initial round of beef, pork shoulder, and shrimp and order three more rounds of one of the previous items in our time slot! I was a little afraid that the food was not going to be good since it's meant to be an Asian establishment owned by white people. The meat was tasty and so were the mushrooms and banchan. I do wish there was more variety in meat. I think it's a little pricey for the small portions and time limit but worth a try since it's fun. Drinks were pricey but good. The ambiance is very clubby and dark with no windows. They were blasting Ariana Grande the whole time. If your vibe is not dark, loud, and clubby, you may not like Cobra. I'm not sure I would go back anytime soon since there's supposed to be KBBQ places opening up in Pittsburgh that are more authentic but I am glad that I tried it.

Scallops

The Good: Excellent flavors. We did miso shrimp and Galbi beef for our grill and both were excellent. We split the scallop special for the night that was one of the best presentations of scallops I've ever had. Korean cheese corn was divine. We shared the bread pudding and absolutely everything was excellent. The Less Good: Service was....lacking. We ordered the corn...can we please have something besides chopsticks to eat it with? Had to wave her down for everything. She only checked back once on her own accord during our 2 hour dinner. Two warm bottles of water on the table when we arrived that were neither refilled (see below and notes on how hot it was) nor was there any ice available. We had to flag down the server for refills of drinks (ice tea) they were not proactively offered. It was HOT around the tables. I know...you grill on the table but the AC needed to crank if that's the case and it simply didn't. It made for an uncomfortable seating situation. Not quite sweaty, but very close.

This was my second time at cobra! We got the all you can eat. It is a little more expensive that other all you can eat kbbq but it all tasted really good. I do wish there were a little more meat options and sides. Service was good and ambiance is pretty dark inside. I thought it is interesting they have gender neutral bathrooms but it is not a single stall.

Yakiniku
Kaylie W.

I like the concept of the place. Night club vibes but yakiniku restaurant. Service is super nice, and they've gotten a lot better with timing since opening. I used to have to wait for a table despite a reservation and wait a while for the food, but not so for the more recent times I've been. I'm only giving it 3 stars because I think it is way too overpriced. I keep going back because I crave yakiniku and there aren't other places around. But the portions are insanely small, leaving even me who doesn't really eat feeling hungry after a meal. I literally rely on the [Japchae] for filling my stomach. That's the only appetizer/ side dish I'd recommend. The others are too small and too expensive for what it's worth. Dessert is pretty good though. I think for the same price elsewhere you'd get a lot better yakiniku experience with better meat and portion sizes. The vibes and price for upscale yakiniku but the food isn't there yet.

Whether you're at cobra for the bar, the BBQ, or the karaoke you're in for a treat. One of my favorite spots in the city for everything above. Amazing food & service and one of the coolest vibes. If you haven't been I suggest you run, don't walk! You won't regret it!

Our food was great, we loved the experience of cooking on a bbq grill and the atmosphere was AMAZING but our service was subpar at best. Our server didn't check in on us and left a sour taste in our mouths. When we flagged her down to ask for additional banchan (since there were 5 of us at the table and only enough to make a few wraps at most) we only received additional lettuce, nothing else. That's only where the issues started.... The prices we received on our check were not reflective of what we were told & ultimately, our server was uneducated on the menu and pricing. I understand the reasoning behind an automatic gratuity, but it definitely wasn't earned in this case. Overall, I believe if we had a different server, we would've had a much better experience.

I went for my birthday and will definitely be going back! The group of us got bbq and it comes with two courses. We also got drinks and oysters. Amazing! Service was great! Our server was quick, attentive, and helpful. Love the ambiance. Cozy, modern, and fun!

I've never heard of Cobra until a friend invited to take me for my birthday last week. It's tucked away on a small street in Bloomfield, I want to say parking seems a barrier but we used uber. I like the dim lighting and the seating in booths are very roomy, kind space between other tables and feels more private. I'd compare this to the style of cooking at the table similar to korean bbq but a little different (prefer korean bbq and larger portions of meat). We had the bulgogi, prawn (comes with 3) and the tokujo tongue with sides of mushrooms and asparagus. We also had the caviar for appetizer. Additionally had two cocktails. We did order the wagyu but they never gave it to us, guess they forgot but we didn't mention again. My opinion for our visit is that: the servers and all of the staff were so lovely, attentive, kind and helpful. The service was excellent and it was a nice atmosphere. Now the food: I did not like the prawn it had too much flavoring and maybe sour to me, hard to explain but it was odd. The caviar came with all of the toppings to try and small pancake things - it was my first time having it and seemed like jelly but nothing special. The tongue only my friend had but he seemed to like it. The bulgogi and asparagus were the only things I liked aside from the cotton candy cocktail. Bulgogi is delicious but not enough of it due to not much else I enjoyed. The mushrooms weren't the best to me but ok. The waiter gave me a shot of sake for my birthday. I give 4 stars due to awesome service and wonderful night despite not having the best food experience. I do love the presentation however. I hope to try the karaoke rooms one day.

Overall we had a very nice experience. The fries were perfectly cooked and I loved the sesame mayo served with it. We opted for the Omakase that came with waygu beef ! It also came with a marinated beef (not pictured) that was not enjoyable. It was extremely tough to chew. Our server was attentive and checked on us quite often. The restaurant itself is very dark and the music is louder than I would have liked.

Whatever cocktail my partner got. He said it was okay but had a funny after taste.
Steve C.

For $270, for two people, we got about ten ounces of meat, two mid alcoholic beverages, mushrooms we didn't like, an okay but not good appetizer, mood inappropriate music, and an inattentive service who didn't seem to want to deal with us, couldn't remember to bring a fork, disappeared for long stretches. If I wanted that type of dining experience I could have spent $60 and went to TGI Fridays. Gyu Kaku in Philly is a similar type of dining expeirence that is lower cost, higher quality, more attentive servers, more appropriate music, and better value. If you want the experience of this type of dining, take the road trip to Philly versus spending your money here. Edit: The manager reached out a week ago to say this. Unfortunately, the GM then never responded back after their initial email. So, yea, I guess their average experience isn't all that concerning to them. (Sent 2/21/24)9 Hi Steve, I am equally disappointed with your experience here at COBRA as you are. It is simply not what you should expect from us. Given you took time out of your day to provide feedback, it gives me hope there is a chance to win you back and make this right. Steve, it's important to me that you know that hospitality and making my guests happy is what keeps me going, and I do not take negative feedback lightly. Please allow me some time to regroup with my team to further look into your experience. Thank you for sharing with us, Collin McNamee, General Manager

Unlike some other hot pot places I've been to, this place only charges for one pot and not for the food you get. I ordered everything that was available and it was all better then the last. I would especially recommend the pork, it was delicious! I had 3 orders of it. As I mentioned before, the food is delicious! While I couldn't get a photo, there was also a sauce bar. You had the option to get a premade one or get your own. I chose to make a teriyaki sauce and it was amazing! Definitely recommend checking it out while waiting for food to arrive. The waiter was so nice, I didn't catch his name but rest assured all of the staff is so nice and kind! They are very informative and know what dishes are good and bad. Now for the part that is hardest to nail down, the restaurant ambiance. I normally don't write about ambiance because to describe an amazing place to someone with just a few words is hard to do, but I felt I had to do it for this one. The restaurant looks very authentic and it is clear that they respect the culture that they represent.

It came with 3 side dishes of bean sprouts, kimchi, and broccoli. I quite liked each of the side dishes. The bean sprouts were soooo good! The soondoobu was very typical, slightly sweet, slightly spicy. I would like if there was a bit more soup and less things so I could put my rice in more. The galbi gui was very yummy and had a nice bbq flavor. I would say the portions are SMALL for the prices. I was very suprised when it came and the galbi was the side of my hand. The bowl for the tofu soup was also very small. For $26 and $18 respectively I thought it should be at least a little bigger. I honestly thought it was a cheaper lunch portion. My favorites are the steak short ribs (Galbi), bulgogi, and the Korean fried chicken (you can split the flavors half and half). My friends and I wanted to try something new and so we got the pork ribs (they were ehh); also, the chicken dinner dish was also very average. There was only one mishap once where the fried chicken we got was cold. However, once the waitress knew about this she got us a new dish which was very kind. My favorite though was the chuncheon spicy chicken with cheese and ramen - if you love spicy food you need to get this! I was so sweaty from eating this and I mean this in the most complimentary way. The only constructive criticism I have is that the chive pancake wasn't what I expected - i was thinking it was going to be a flat crispy pancake and it came out as a big roll essentially. It still tasted good though. I can't wait to come back!!

Novo Asian Food Hall is a collection of Asian food, drinks, and desserts in the Strip District, specifically located in the Terminal building. There are individual restaurants and businesses serving their specific cuisine. There is a bar in the center of the floor, a non-alcoholic drink place, a bakery, and several restaurants. At the time of this visit, there were 4 different food stands, 1 tea/drink stand, 1 bakery stand, and the bar area. There is not specific designated parking for the Food Hall, but there is paid parking all around the Terminal building. Additionally, there are other options for street and paid lot parking throughout the Strip. There are several entrances to Novo - from the Terminal side on Smallman Street, from the back side of the building, and also a side entrance if you are already in the Terminal. The Food Hall is very large, and is easily identified with the signage. We stopped in on this night a little before 8 PM, and it was not too crowded. There were patrons for the restaurants and at the bar, but there were still plenty of seats all around the place. There are high and low top tables all around the dining room, and there is even bar seating in the center. You can sit wherever you please, as it is open seating. There are water pitchers and cups placed near the trash cans that are available for use by anyone in the Hall. On this trip, we purchased food from KungFu Chicken and Tan Vac Lien 2. Everything we had was good! It is nice to be able to mix and match different foods from the various stands to create a meal. I like to try new items from the different stands each time I visit the Food Hall. However, I have found some favorites that I find myself going back to each time (Fishcake Corn Dog!) The prices throughout Novo vary depending on which stand you are at. Some items can be a little pricy, but overall I believe the pricing is fair. A plus of being able to get such a variety of items is that you can share with a group, which may help to keep the cost manageable. Novo has good hours, but not all the stands are always all open at the same time. So, I would double check the place you wish to go will be open during your visit. Overall, I really like Novo Asian Food Hall, both conceptually and in practice. This has been a fun addition to the Strip, and I have enjoyed getting to try lots of different foods and cuisine during my visits. My only critique/note is that I hope that the vacancy of one of the stands can be filled quickly to add even more options and variety. I would recommend stopping here if you are looking for authentic Asian cuisine with a fun, social atmosphere. I look forward to trying even more of the options here during my future visits!

I wouldn't really call this a supper club to be honest but the place definitely carries a house music bar vibe and the back bar area and seating is very dimly lit, perfect for cozying up and enjoying a drink late night. The ladies' room was so dark, I mistook it for a storage area because I could only make out a white ladder in the corner that was being used as cute shelving. The place is seat yourself. Our waiter was not super friendly and didn't offer to give us napkins or anything when our wobbly table caused our drinks to splash all over the place. The cook served our chicken with a big smile and happy interaction and we really loved his personality. The bartender also stopped by to bus our table and he was very pleasant as well. We enjoyed the perfectly fried small plate cauliflower with the plum sauce and the fried cheese/garlic wonton bites with the sriracha mayo spicy dipping sauce. The fried chicken breast on the large plate was slightly overcooked with a maple gochuchang sauce that was very bland. We were so thankful that the large plate fried chicken came with a side salad to offer some respite from the heaviness of the fried dishes. It would have been great to have some side acidic or fresh vegetable options like Kimchi or something. Maybe we tried the wrong dishes and there are other not fried things that are delicious? The dirty martini cocktail was just so-so, not really much flavor at all, but the mojito was very good and refreshing. It's probably a good late-night place for a bite and drink.
