I came in for an interior detail on my car. I called ahead of time and the guy told me they had a deal: $119 for interior and wash. It really wasn't much of a deal because that was the same price everywhere else I called. Regardless, they said they could do it in the amount of time I was hoping for (less than 3 hours), so I went there. I arrive there at 1pm and asked if it could be ready no later than 330, but preferably 3pm if possible. The guy said no problem they'd get it done. To my surprise it was done at 2:30pm. Only to find out when I got home, the carpets in between the seats and the console, as well as the rear drink holder (that I made sure was folded down so they could see it), hadn't even been touched. At this point I didn't have time to go back and get it fixed. When they called they said I could bring it in over the weekend and they would take care of it. So, as much as I appreciate the good customer service of the manager, I really wish it just would've been done right the first time. Time is money, which I don't have much of either.....and for $119, I was hoping the job would be done right and right the first time. read more

came in for a oil change and thay charge 74.00 for 3.5 qts of bulk synthetic oil not even mobil one and a oil filter oh but you get a car wash with it was not happy with that either did not empty ashtray and even left trash in side the cab of my truck a empty water bottle and the note that the oil change place left in with my name on it so the car wash guy would know who's truck it was... i will be putting this on yelp Very poor service and way way over charge read more

Had a great experience in getting my car detailed. I received a 10% discount on the interior package and a bonus wax on the exterior. Shout out to Dustin for superior service - super friendly and helpful! I don't think they are supposed to/allowed to remove child carseats, so let's say instead he guided me through what needed to be done to get them out. And...I didn't recognize before I left I was missing a carseat that had inadvertently not been put back in (I just assumed it was in the trunk with the booster seat), and Dustin caught it before I left! I totally would have left without it and would have had to drive an hour round trip to come back to get it! Thank you for all the help, Dustin!! My car was thoroughly cleaned inside and out, and the seat was nicely covered with plastic and floor with a paper mat when I went to get in it. I did not find anything missing (as I know is sometimes a concern)...in fact, while I thought I had cleaned the car out ahead of time, they still found a ton of stuff (like my kids' toys stuffed under the seats, etc.) and placed it all in a bag for me. Side note - my daughter had a blast with the soap-sprayer gun, shooting cars with soap as they drove through the car wash. Detailing is a "treat" in our house so we don't get it done all the time, but we will definitely be back! read more

My only positive about this place and the reason I am giving it 2 stars is because the car wash guys are always nice and my car is always cleaned beautifully... HOWEVER, I'm extremely disappointed in the oil place here. I've come here quite a few times for a car wash and I have never been unsatisfied so this time as I was pulling in, I saw a banner hanging that said an oil change was 19.95 and included a basic wash for a few extra dollars or something to that effect. Since I needed an oil change anyway, I decided to get it done all in one shot. Now, my car is a Volkswagen so I am aware that it is more expensive... What I was a little shocked at was that the attendant rudely told me it was 67.99 plus tax... I was already there so I just went with it. I go to check out and after a $3 dollar car wash upgrade, my total is almost $93 DOLLARS!!! When I ask the guy WHY???, he proceeds to tell me that the 67.99 package only includes a certain amount of oil and my car takes more than that so they have to charge me for the extra oil. If he already knew that going in, why didn't he just quote me the full amount? He also told me it would only take 30 minutes and an hour later... It's done. It's so frustrating and manipulative. Quantity not quality. You would think if you paid more the effort to clean your car a little better would be expected. I had to flag down people to come and finish wiping down my car. This is the second time this has happened. Definitely not coming back to this location. I understand that sometimes there are busy days but that shouldn't affect the effort and quality of work. Also not sure what their policy is on cleaning the back of customers vehicles is but they didn't even wipe down or vacuum out the back. I wish I could rate at zero. I took my Mini Cooper in to get an oil change. When I first got there the service man greeted me I was the first one in line instead of him helping me right away he put me with the black guy I guess because I am black? Anyway the guy had no idea what he was doing on the computer to check me in so 20 minutes later I finally got checked in after 2 other people were put ahead of me. Remember I was in line first. They said they changed my oil and my car was washed. When my car was ready I got in my car to head to an appointment and realized someone stole my change and removed the middle console piece out of my car. I went back talked with the manager they really did not care. I called the corporate office and after leaving several messages, the district manager called me back Mr. Dyer and I explained what happened he offered me a full refund for my experience. I agreed he said the refund had to be mailed from the corporate office, this was 2 weeks ago and I still have not received my refund and come to find out they never even changed my oil. I am filing an complaint with the BBB. PLEASE DO NOT GET ANY SERVICES AT THE ELLIOT & AUTO LOOP LOCATION YOU MAY END UP LIKE ME. read more

Just spent a good amount of time at Cobblestone... I got complete interior and exterior cleaning and detailing on my SS Camaro. Including carpet shampooing, exterior wax, wheel detail, complete engine bay steam clean and detail, and a headlight restoration for an awesome deal! Honestly if you could see the before in my engine bay and after, you would be absolutely AMAZED! I was surprised. These guys did an awesome job!! My review about the Tempe location of Cobblestone is a mixed bag. Just a little history, I have been going to the Cobblestone Car Wash on Alma School & Germann in Chandler since it opened and I have always been very happy with them. I admit that they are a little more expensive than some of their competition, but I always felt that their extreamly helpful and polite stafff, sparkling clean facility, and the quality job they did on my car had built in value for the couple extra dollars I paid. The fact that I can grab a coffee from Dunkin's while I wait is a huge plus for me. I admit that I am a self proclaimed neat freak, but I have two large, young dogs that love to go for rides and hikes on the weekends. I love my "canine kids", but they do tend to be a little rough on my tan interior. Between the nose prints on the windows, the shedding, dusty / muddy paw prints (and their freaky ability to find water to be played in) my car is usually visiting a car wash every week. About a month ago my car was approaching it's one year old anniversary and I decided to take advantage of one of their upgrade specials, and treat it to a "Spa" treatment. They gave me a big discount and for $109.00, I purchased a prepaid detail card that included FULL interior detail, their most expensive exterior wash and carnuba wax. When I found out that Cobblestone had opened a location one mile from my work in Tempe, I decided that I would drop my car off, have the detail done there while I was at work, preventing me from having my car tied up for a few hours on the weekend. Seemed like a win-win solution to me. Let me start off with the good first. I was greated with the same friendly manner in which I am acustom to receiving at Chandler, I dropped my car off at 7 AM when they opened, they promised to have it ready by noon so I could pick it up on my lunch hour. The employees where all helpful, the store was sparkling clean, all seemed like it would be typical of my previous experiences. I went to go pick up my car at 12:15 and it was ready as promised. I have to admit because I was on my lunch break, and had limited time I really did not have time to look closley at the details. It was not until I started to drive home that night, and got home did I notice all the little details that where over looked. The exterior there where several issues. I had water spots on the mirrors, back window, and running down the side of the car on the front doors, these where not easily noticable because the car is bright white. I noticed the rims still had dirt spots that where missed that I had to wipe off at home. There was a line left on the back window where the windshield wiper is (I own a sport wagon) because they never lifted the wiper up to wipe under it. The item on the exterior that bothered me the most was the dirt that is built up on the white paint near the wheel wells. If they waxed my car, why was this missed? Makes me pretty certain that car was not waxed on the lower panels as it should have been. I was able to take all the dirt off with a rag at home. While the exterior was a little bit of a let down, I really noticed several things about the interior that where flat out disappointing. I paid for a full interior detail, yet there was dirt that was missed in the cup holders, interior door pulls, and interior panels. The rear view mirror, and vanity mirrors where never wiped down and are still dirty, the vents all have dust in them, and once the seats dried, they still had some marks on them that my Bissell steam cleaner at home could have removed. I expected the seats and the carpets to be damp from just being steam cleaned but the carpets where left soaked. So much that the paper mat they placed down disingrated and left a white paste ground into my carpet. The worse part was the Armor All that was used. I had to fix it at home because the neat freak in me could not stand it. You could see really shiny spots on the dash where they applied it and several duller spots where it was never applied. Then to make things worse, this morning when I came into work I heard a rattle in the back of the car? When I went to investigate the noise, I found they had laid down my back seats to vacuum, which was good, but when they put them back up, they did not move the seat belts out of the way, causing them to become an obstruction to latching properly. Details... guys makes all the difference. If I had to grade them I would give them a C. Was the car cleaner than when I brought it in? The answer would be Yes. Did they do a good job? No. Did they pay attention to details? No. Do I feel like I got a detail job costing over a hundred dollars...definitely not. The reality is that the Chandler location has returned my car to me looking a lot nicer, with a much better eye for detail with their $32.00 wash. My overall experience was disappointing with this location. read more

I went to Cobblestone today to get a normal oil change and car wash. (Same Routine I Do Every Couple Of Months). I understand its their job to always ask if you want to upgrade different things but I felt it was unnecessary because I was already getting the most expensive car wash with my oil change I didn't need the extra offers. I was told it would take about 20 minutes for the oil change and the car wash and to go into the waiting area. After my oil change was completed the man in the lube area told me everything was fine and that he was now moving it into the car wash and I should be done in just a few minutes. I got my ticket and paid for my services and sat back down to wait for my car to go through the car wash. After waiting about 20 minutes when it was only supposed to take a couple of minutes for my car wash, my car hadn't moved from the lube area. I walked up and asked the cashier what was going on. She stated that the worker would be right in to speak to me. The man I originally dropped my car off with came inside to tell me that one of the workers had broken my tire sensor valve and that they were waiting for the dealership around the corner to bring the part over. I was informed only after he had just told me about 25 minutes prior that everything was fine and I would be done in just a few minutes. The worker proceed to tell me they were going to take care of the labor and replace the part they had broken. After waiting another 25 minutes my car finally moved from the lube area to the car washing area. After all the time spent and treatment from the worker I decided there was no reason I should have to pay for my car wash or my oil change as they weren't originally going to tell me anything was going on if I wouldn't had asked. I asked to speak to the manager on duty, he came over to tell me everything was fixed and I was able to leave. I asked for a receipt showing they replaced the part with a brand new part he said there was no reason for a receipt but he could try and get me a one. ( At this time I'm more than frustrated) The manager could tell I was irritated and stated to me "Ma'am I don't understand why you are so frustrated and I don't see the reasoning behind a refund, we have fixed the part and you can go on about your day". At that time I not only raised my voice but I felt that was the biggest slap in the face, I was going on about 2 hours of being there and he wants to ask me why I am so frustrated. After I stated to him I had been there almost 2 hours he told me I was over reacting and cut me off while I was speaking. I decided to avoid the conflict and not make a big scene as I obviously wasn't going to get any where with him, I walked out side and was getting ready to leave he came over and handed me the receipt for the part and walked off. I didn't even wait for them to finish drying off my car and I left. A simple apology for my time wasted and a refund I would gladly go back. With them not taking any responsibility for their actions I will NEVER be giving Cobblestone another dime of my money. If there were ten stars, that is what they would get. If review was based on percent, 100% would be the score. The staff - extremely friendly, polite, informative and on-task at all times (no goofing off that I saw). The gentleman taking the vehicle for service was outstanding with a bit of conversation, the usual up-sell (which he got because he was polite and not pushy) and instruction on how to proceed through the building and where to wait. The cashier was very nice, polite, efficient and made sure to thank us and a good send-off with something to the effect of "we will see you next time." The waiting area is outstanding with a calming fountain, music, televisions, nice outside lounge chairs and has always been very clean and well kept. The gentelmen cleaning the car treated the vehicle with respect, were meticulous in cleaning some places usually not cleaned, polite, and seemed to enjoy their job. They earned every bit of tip that they received. The send off guy thanked us, opened the doors for us, made sure everything was ok and asked if there was anything else he could help us with. The car is always cleaned to the highest level and I would not recomend another place, even though, on occasion, for a quick wash I do go to the spa at the end of my block. Prices are fair and you can usually dig up a coupon someplace. GO HERE and support this local business!! You will not be unhappy when you leave. I needed to get some mineral spots removed from the exterior, get the headlights buffed, an oil change and a wash. Upon arriving the cost to get that done was much more than I had intended to spend. The gentleman helping me ask what my budget was. I told him and said he would talk to someone and see what they could do. Got a wash there today. While drying off my Jeep, the crew opened the rear window hatch but it wouldn't close. They transferred it over to the oil change facility and Justin spent a good hour troubleshooting and repairing the hatch!!! I even told them this problem existed before the wash, but they insisted on helping. I tried to tip Justin for his time and efforts, but he refused as he is not allowed to accept. I was even more impressed at this point. He knew I couldn't tip and he insisted on fixing a problem that wasn't caused by the wash or the crew. By the way, wash was great too. While driving on vacation my tire had a nail in it. I had to call the insurance and no one could change the fire because I didn't have the tools to lower the spare tire in my truck. So the facility manger seen that it was just my mom and I he said that he would have one of his employees help us. The employee who helped us was fantastic he was the assistant manager Jesse or Justin. He was able to get our spare down and change our tire for us and he did it in about 15 minutes. My son and I drove our respective vehicles to this location for oil changes and car washes. I am new to Phoenix - so I needed a reliable place to get my vehicle serviced. As the tech was starting to fill out my oil change order it was brought to my attention by employee Justin that my back plate was missing. (Maybe someone wanted a Wyoming plate souvenir). Justin was kind enough to replace the missing back plate with my front plate. I was in still a bit of shock about the plate as I wandered over to the lounge with my son and grandson. My grandson had a great time squirting the cars with soap as they came through the wash - what a GREAT idea for little kid! The lounge area had comfy seating and plenty of flat screens. The outside wating area again had wonderful, shaded seating and misters. Soon enough, my vehicle was ready. As I came out to retrieve it I had a delightful conversation with Baca. The courtesy and friendliness shown by all the employees at this location overshadowed my angst about the license plate (the Phoenix Officer that showed up to take my report was friendly also). In any event, I will be happy visit this location anytime and everytime I need an oil change and car wash! read more

Got a car wash and didn't believe how quick it was.. I waited around 30 min or so and I was solid. But my car was having some issues unfortunately and I had two super awesome guys help me. Justin and George... Curious George! Just was sweet enough check out what was wrong with my car because it wouldn't start. He gave me a ride and I just paid for the part. They even both pushed my car while I steered it for them to work on it. George took care of getting it installed for me and doing me a favor and honestly they went above and beyond that I ever expected. They both even stayed after 6 when they already were closed to fix it and really saved my ass. If you need work done or the ones who deserves a raise would be Justin and George because I'm one happy customer that would be more than happy to refer anyone and everyone to cobblestone keep being awesome!! Not happy. Paid $16.99 for a wash including tire treatments well the wash was OK but the rims are still dirty. When I asked the guy to wipe them again he did a half way job and then walked away. I'm a bit disappointed to say the least. I get my oil changed and other stuff done there and it would be nice to be treated like my money and time are valued. read more

The slimy sales guy drove me to back my vehicle out and head to a different spot. I had just brought my wife's vehicle there the day before but I will never be returning. The sales clown told me that the wash would not get the dirt around the wheel wells of the tire and in order to wash the dirt off the wheel wells, he need to charge an extra $5. No thanks, I took it down the street and they had no problem washing the wheel wells. We will now be taking our $100 a month that we spend elsewhere. Careful how you treat customers because it's not always about screwing everyone that pulls in. That will drive away your business in a hurry just like it did us.. read more

First time at this cobblestone location. I arrived around 11:20 am and my car wasn't done until 12 noon. I got the works wash. 20 mins after I paid I still did not see my car come out of the wash area so I popped back over to the entrance and my car was still sitting there waiting for the line of express wash people that were crowded at the entrance of the washing area. I wondered why they were not directing the full service cars to the wash area more timely. I waited and waited some more, all while sweating in the heat, until my car finally made it to the middle of the line. Then I waited the rest of the time inside where there was hardly any air conditioning because of the constant opening and closing of the doors. I then waited outside and the misters weren't even turned on. I said out loud "wow, they aren't even going to turn on the misters while we wait in this heat?!" Finally my car was ready. I will say the new cashier guy was very helpful and nice, and my car was nicely cleaned, but man! I did not expect it to take that long. read more

They are okay. Once you pull up to tell you what you want the guys that work there are very pushy and "OVER" Friendly , by that they want to hop threw your window. The service is not worth the price you pay that's for sure. The 3$ drive threw car washes are better to use. There are a lot of teenagers that work there so i guess there is not a lot to expect. Let me start off by saying I used to love this place. I have only recently had a bad experience but it was bad enough to make me never want to return. The salesman, or whatever you want to call him, in the oil change part, was extremely rude. He recommended a service for my car that I didn't want to get taken care of that day. I just dropped a lot of money on Christmas gifts and didn't feel like paying for something that can be pushed back a little bit. Well he didn't take too kindly to me denying the service. He gave a very intimidating look and kept yammering on about how if I don't get it taken care of all of this bad stuff would happen. I still said no. He then started halfway yelling and talking to me like I was an idiot. I kept a smile on my face and walked out never to return. I really want to thank the superior job both Dustin and Jeremy (managers on site) did to take care of my car and I. When my cars spoiler had come off in the car wash there, they jumped to action, ordering my part immediately, getting it painted the proper color and installing it the day the part came in, all while staying in constant contact with me. For someone who works in the customer service industry, I most definitely would recommend this car wash, as well as, I will be coming back and making this my regular car wash. I recently went to Cobblestone for a carwash, and after the wash was offered a $19.99 oil change. When I went to pay, the $20 turned in to $32. I had to speak to 2 different employees before the adjustment was made, and was told that there would be an additional $5.99 because my make/model needed additional oil... When I pointed out that they had approached me after seeing my vehicle, with a $19.99 offer, the additional oil fee was taken off. While there, I had a wiper blade replaced. Two miles after leaving, I noticed a large 6-7 inch crack in my windshield, originating where the wiper blade that had been replaced was. When I contacted them, I was told, 1) it is common in AZ for windshields to crack when cold water hits the hot windshield (windshield wasn't cracked after the wash, or before the oil change...) 2) It must have been a rock that hit my windshield (under the wiper blade?) 3) It was a stress fracture due to a faulty windshield. When I pointed out that the windshield was not cracked until AFTER the blade was replaced, an incident report was finally written up. Now, I have to wait several days, as they need a 3 hour block of time, and an additional 3 hours for the car to sit. Needless to say, I will not be returning. read more

took my car in for a car wash a few months ago on a groupon. they did a good job on wash and dry. then i got some express wash coupons from groupon a few weeks ago. i decided to try my jeep wrangler through it. what a mistake. while in the wash area, the machine tore off my tire cover and ripped off one of my taillight stone guards which was attached with the taillight screws. the attendant had to stop the machine later when i discovered the cover was missing. it was tore up pretty good with cracking throughout. do not take a convertible through this process as the machine is too rough to safely clean the fabric without some damage, if not then, eventually as you continually wash your convertible. read more

Service taken 9/7/14. Very disappointed with service offered and when questioned got tons of lame excuses. Paid $10 for a $9.99 hands free quicky special wash - the system did not refund the cent and gave me a useless cash voucher. After going through the automated wash/shine/poiish area, when I looked at my car in the vacuum area I noticed that there were water spots all over my car. When questioned why those did not get cleaned the attendants tried to sell me hand wash and detailing packages which would take care of the spots. The only explanation I got was that the hands free wash consisting of water spray, soap spray, microfiber cloth rub, polish and spot free rinse was not going to remove the water spots. (Strange - what is the wash supposed to do then?) After arguing for 10 mins with the attendant who felt it was important to stress upon me the fact that he was a professional I lost hope that i would get anything out of it. never going back to this place ever again. read more

So today (12/8/13) I was excited to get my car washed because with all this weather we've been having it was just never the right time. So I pulled up and there were about 5 cars in the multiple lanes you can choose when you first pull in to get your ticket from a car wash attendant. There was 1 car in front of me with 6 associates talking to the owner. Not sure what services he was getting that needed 6 people talking to him. I wasn't greeted until about 5 minutes of waiting which was ok, but it wasn't from the guy that writes the tickets, he was the windshield repair guy. He said someone will be right with me. After the owner of the car in front of me left inside all the associates' dispurst. 4 started chatting with each other and the other was drinking a soda. The ticket writer was still writing stuff on the wind shield of the car in front of me then walked away. I was in line for about 15 minutes before I back up. When I was backing up one of the associates starting waving and saying where are going? "Now it matters when you are losing business" I said. The other car was in the area, Foothills Car Wash damaged my headlight on my previous car so I won't be going there. I'm not sure if I will come back to Cobble Stone Auto Spa. I probably should have went inside and talked to a manager but I just didn't want to deal with it and I would be doubtful the behavior would be corrected. You would think that because it rained the day before this place would be dying for customers but I guess not. read more

I am ashamed to say I hadn't washed my car in almost a year because of time constraints and then it got to the point I was too embarrassed to take it anywhere. I finally gave in two days ago because my husband was going to take his van in to get it washed. I already made up my mind that they wouldn't be able to get it clean and was totally floored when I saw it for the first time after the wash.. I paid for a normal wash about 15.oo is all. It was like a new car! The inside was immaculate. I wish I had taken before pictures to post! I only waited 30 minutes at the most. Yes they did ask if I would like to purchase other things. I don't see what the big deal is. All you have to say is no. It's part of doing business. I decided to purchase a detailing for another day because of the great service I received and because they gave me such a great deal on it. I don't write reviews ever but I felt like I needed to because they honestly were really great and I am so thankful to have found a place I feel good about going back to again.
