Usually use Clean Freak but stopped at Cobbjestone this evening (Sept 5). Paid $22 for a wash, wax and ceramic coating at around 7pm, asked for a receipt but machine failed to provide one. Guy at the start of the wash was disinterested and sprayed a jet of whatever at me doing nothing but giving him pleasure at pretending to spray drivers in the face. Went through the wash and stopped to dry off the vehicle only to find that the car was almost as dirty as when we went in. Front end and headlights covered in bug guts, back of the car was covered in a filthy film. Went back to the guy controlling the wash and he came over but was totally disinterested and said "come back tomorrow". I would recommend anyone wanting a decent car wash bc stay away from this place like it has the plague. read more

Misleading Sales Tactics - Monthly Charges After Being Promised a One-Time Fee I was told by the Cobblestone Car Wash attendant in Tempe, AZ that I would be charged a one-time fee of $21 for a yearly special. I even double-checked with him to confirm that it was not a monthly charge. He clearly assured me it was just a one-time payment. Yet, I've since discovered that I've been charged $21 every single month -- without my consent and in direct contradiction to what I was told. This is not only misleading, it's deceptive. I feel taken advantage of, and Cobblestone needs to address this behavior immediately. I've reached out asking for a full refund of the unauthorized monthly charges and a correction to whatever account was opened in my name. I strongly advise others to check their bank statements carefully if you've ever been offered a "one-time deal" here. Until this is resolved, I'll be sharing my experience across multiple platforms to warn others. read more

I gave this place sooo many tries! I'm big on trying a place more than once especially if the first time wasn't up to par. It's natural for everyone to have a bad day. This was my third AND FINAL time coming for an interior detail. I made sure to really stress that I wanted them to focus on my doors. I didn't care what else they did as long as they focused on my doors, and cleaned it. They said they would shampoo and clean the carpet as well but like I said I only really had one request. I waited about an hour and a half inside. They have a pretty small waiting area inside with about 4 seats and 4 stools. This area is pretty okay because you can charge your phone and watch the cars go through the car wash. They also have free wifi so I was able to work while I was there. When I got the car back I was in a rush so I couldn't look it over. But the first thing I noticed was that my sound system sounded completely off! I have no idea what they did but my sound system sounds terrible. It gets really staticky and sounds weird after a certain volume and it NEVER did that before. Not only did they do something to my speakers but they didn't even clean my doors properly. They left spills and a stain on the carpet as well as stuff still in cupholders. Terrible attention to detail. Basically if you're looking for an interior or exterior detail please find somewhere else to go because I paid $250 and this was not worth it. I don't know how to add photos but there will still crumbs, dirt, dust, and other debris on/in my car. Now that the company car policy has provided a wash stipend, we signed up for the express here at this Cobblestone location. The process is actually straightforward like any other, and it will give you a decent exterior wash but not a real good cleaning compared to a handwash. I know, I'm being picky, but it's true. The one issue I had when I got done with the express was that not all of the driving stalls had air nozzles available. The Express wash is what you should choose if you want to do a quick cosmetic wash (hence express) but to make sure it's clean you need to pull into the self-service stalls to finish it off. It's not touchless so I will always worry about scratches. If you know anything about washing your car, the air nozzle is critical to get water out of all the crevices, in between seats, and around the dash. Especially on the exterior so your vehicle doesn't leave streaking watermarks when you drive off. The location of this one sits right at the intersection of Baseline and Kyrene which is heavily trafficked by cars & trucks and is a gas station so be careful as a lot of moving parts (ie cars) are constantly moving around the lot. Getting to the stalls is easy, but the ones with the air nozzles were located on the opposite end so while driving, be careful. **Update: After a few Express washes... decided to upgrade to the Full Service as the work to clean the car right was too time-consuming (self-service) and felt that the air dry was just "ok". read more

My daughter took her 2017 Mazda CX-3 in for wash and interior detailing. I am giving a 4..simply because the interior cleaning wasn't the greatest. When she received the car back the touch display was cracked in the lower right corner and she reported it to the Supervisor on duty. Originally she felt she was being disregarded, and her mom got involved and we waited for Mario (Manager to contact them). Long story short, Mario stepped up and worked with me, keeping in constant communication the entire time, sometimes multiple times per day, to let me know the status of our claim and what steps he was taking to resolve the issue to replace the unit. Mario advised that because his crew did not document any previous damage to the unit, when receiving, that he would replace and worked with the Mazda dealership. Mario contacted the dealership, scheduled the service and coordinated all the details to have this taken care of and resolved, and as stated earlier, kept in constant communication with me the entire time. ZERO Stars. Management is dishonest and refusing to take accountability for their machine ripping off the driver side mirror of our 2021 Toyota Tacoma on Wednesday, October 4th at 6:20pm. Paco admitted responsibility on Thursday, October 5, 2023 after reviewing the cameras and and informed me that general manager Mario would be reaching out on Friday. Never received a phone call. Just got off the phone with Mario on October 7, 2023 after I called him stating there was a "miscommunication of who would be calling who" followed by him telling me that he could not tell by the video if the vehicle had prior damage, would not be taking responsibility, and wanted me to bring in the vehicle for a visual inspection to see if there were screws or glue. He is NOT credentialed to inspect vehicles and I will be getting multiple third party inspections. I will be filing a small claims case against them to cover the $650.00 price tag for repair. This is unbelievable. Horrible business practice. No not go to this location. I expect that cobblestone car wash corporate will reach out to me directly to rectify this ASAP. read more

This review is really for the staff here, specifically Aracely (I hope I spelled that right) and "Employee 13837" as it says on my receipt. The very sweet burgundy haired lady working the counter. Aracely just so happens to be hear everytime I come in and I really look forward to seeing her because she has a great attitude all the time and I don't know how, but she remembers my face and always greets me like a friend and remembers my favorite car scent and how little of it I actually want. She makes sure my baby's car chair is vacuumed and even made sure my membership sticker was placed on the inside of the door rather than my window which I so appreciate. She's just wonderful. When you pay for auto detailing, and I'm talking hand cleaning of the interior of your car, you expect your money worth. I paid the extra for the hand detail attention to the interior and it looked like they took a damp cloth and did a cursory while down and that was it. When we questioned management, he said we only paid for door, dash, and console to be cleaned. We told him that was not what we discussed with the initial lady. He immediately got defensive and started yelling at us, telling us that's what we paid for and to leave. He kept talking over us and interrupting us, refusing to let us voice our opinion and show him the lazy work that was done. After about 5 minutes of arguing, he finally settled and said they would redo their work. I told him I appreciate that and thank you. He replied with "no, I do not accept your appreciation! I am not doing it for you. I am doing it for 'her'." (Pointing to my mother who he kept interrupting and talking over). He did not like me (a younger woman) because I told him not to interrupt me while I am speaking when I was trying to explain the situation to him with the discussion we had with the initial lady who sold us the package. I do not recommend this place at all. They did not perform a well enough job to charge for $130. I should not have to have a screaming match in order to have my opinion heard at a business that serves their customers! Came in for a car wash after transporting my car from another state. I was told by an employee who walked up, that since my car had dirt on it, I'd have to pay an additional $20 on top of the $22.50 in order for them to spray my car with a hose first. Then I asked the employee if "I'm paying $20 to be sprayed with a hose" and he replied "yes". I feel like this cobblestone is a hit or miss for $28 and extra to wipe down the seats I expect to find my car clean some of the obvious places they never pay attention to are the cup holders they still had dirt and looked untouched after my car was done the seats were not wiped but the guy corrected it once he realized I had payed extra for that Overall it's good but make sure you check your car before driving out and always ask if something is not right 9/10 times they will correct the misses Another problem I have is they always miss the freshener I think the basic packages are much better you don't really get much for the extra $$ There's a waiting area inside which is nice I really wish they would become more consistent The employees at the counter were friendly and the store was clean Cheers! read more

After driving through the car wash, the area where you park is always clean and the towels are folded and well stocked. The vacuums work great. If I could give 0 stars I would. NEVER GO HERE!!!! They put a huge crack in the windshield of my brand new car (I had only had it for 9 days) and refused to help me pay for it or reimburse it. The people at this car wash are liars - Paco and Mario, the two managers especially. Their staff lied to Paco Rodriguez saying that my BRAND NEW car ALREADY had a crack before I went through the drive thru car wash. After the car wash and showing Paco the crack, he said that their general manager wasn't around so to come the next day. When we called them the next day, they said Mario was out of town on "emergency leave" and when their colleague said something they shouldn't have on the call, Mario got on the call immediately to rectify his employee's mistake. They refused to give me the security footage and only agreed to give it if I go through my insurance company. They are HUGE liars and do not trust this car wash, at all. This experience has ruined my trust in car washes. I paid $18 for a premium hot wash only for them to put a crack in my new car's windshield. I hope someone in their marketing team reads this and reaches out to me as I am really lost now and none of the conversations with their employees yielded any result for me because they ALL LIE! When I came across the crack, right as I left the drive thru, I immediately parked in front of their little store to tell the employees there - I didn't drive out of the location and then come back to argue with them about the crack. That would've stood no ground, but I did what protocol would've suggested and still didn't get the right treatment from them. I was very nice and kind to Paco, recognising it wasn't directly his fault as I'm sure he has loyal customers in the past who probably didn't have the same experience as me, but my case is completely different - I bought my first ever, new car 9 days before I ran it through this car wash. I bought this car at a used car dealership in Mesa and they also ran it through a drive thru car wash before handing me the keys. The car between the buying period and the windshield crack, was always parked under a parking shed. It was also at the dealership between this period for two days as they needed to work on it. I noticed not even a minute crack in the windshield when I brought it back with me and there was no crack before I went through the car wash. If it happened due to temperature change between the outdoors and inside the car wash, they should have systems in place to mitigate this because they have 100s of thousands cars using their facilities if not millions, a year. Hopefully someone reaches out from their side again, because I'll be tempted to try out my luck in court otherwise By the way, at the end of the car wash, my car didn't even come out looking clean.
