Dirty but $400 detail

I brought my 2001 tundra in for a detail spent nearly $400 stains still in my carpet on the floor old fries still in between where the seatbelt buckle is half of the trim is completely dirty. All they did was scrub it once and put a shit ton of grease all over my dash looks shiny, but still a turd. It's incredible that you guys charge so much for detailing yet. Can't get basic dirt out of carpet let alone put some elbow, grease into scrubbing, completely disappointed, and dissatisfied would not recommend Jackson's auto spa charges a fraction of the cost and did a much better job on my other vehicle. This was hands-down, the worst detailing experience anyone thinking about using cobblestone it is overpriced overrated not good. Go somewhere else for auto detailing.

I used to use cobblestone quite frequently when I lived here. While visiting in town, I really just needed to clean my car both inside and out. I arrived about 5 PM on a Sunday and there were quite a few people still waiting for cars to be completed. The service associate was very nice. I basically said what I needed and he pointed me to the variety of car washes. I chose the lower level since I was traveling and the car may get dirty again in a few days. He took my license plate information and I paid outside. I was handed a claim check. Inside for me is a lot of fun because it has pretty much every beverage and snack you could dream of. There's also a free popcorn and a few comfortable sitting areas as well as outside. It took about 20 minutes for my car to be finished. I thought that was a reasonable amount of time. I thought it was a good value. Overall my car smelled and looked good. I would definitely use them again. If I was in town I always recommend them to my family who does live in Arizona.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst car wash experiences I've had, especially for the price. I paid over $50 and expected at least a basic level of thoroughness, but my windshield still had bugs, and the interior clearly hadn't been touched--there was still visible dust on the screen and dashboard. When I brought these issues up to a staff member, they seemed uninterested and brushed it off while continuing to assist other customers. It didn't even look like the car had been vacuumed. I was considering a membership, but after this visit, that's definitely off the table. Disappointing overall--poor attention to detail and even worse customer service.

Food left in the car in plain view.

I guess this is what you pay for when you get the premium wash but say no to them trying to upsell you to unlimited self service package? I at least expected a decent vacuum. Instead, an entire ritz cracker was left in plain view when the door opened. Also, the seats on the back were severely neglected. The problem is, this is the only full service car wash in Surpise. So the really got you by the you know what's. I wish I would say lesson learned, but this is now the 3rd time. So I guess I'm done giving chances.

See the response below about "making it right." I emailed as requested and haven't received a response. It's been 5 days. This place just doesn't care.

If you go to this place for an oil change be prepared for them to up sell you on things you don't need, over charge and put things on your bill you don't ask for. I had my husband go there for an oil change on a 2019 Yukon and a new cabin filter and he came back with a $248 bill. I went over the bill and they put 2 things in my oil for $19.99 each, other charges just have codes, so I have no idea what it was for. I called customer service 2 days and they were so busy I had to leave my name, number and license plate number for their automated secretary and still have not gotten a call back.

They didn't even try to wipe down the inside of the trunk.

$40 for what? Absolutely insane how many things were missed. And they want a tip after? COMICAL.

Missing paint

I have been coming here for years but after today not any more. I paid an extra 20.00 to get the bugs off the front of my car and they proceeded to take off the paint with the bugs. Talking to the manager basically said "you're lucky you don't have to paint the whole bumper" Horrible customer service. Didn't even offer to pay for the 54.00 car wash from today. Be careful going here! The quality has turned to crap!

This rating is for the fast pass billed without my consent. It would not be here if I knew that was going to be added.

They replaced some hoses and told me the problem was fixed, but the car continued smoking afterward. I brought it back again, and they kept my vehicle for several days and drove it multiple times, only to tell me they "couldn't find anything wrong." Meanwhile, the original issue was still happening. At that point, I completely lost trust in this shop. Not only were they extremely expensive, but despite spending over $4,000 there, my vehicle issues only continued getting worse. The first time the vehicle stopped starting, I ended up replacing the starter myself. It started again afterward, but only lasted about a week before it stopped starting once more. That's when I finally decided to take it to the Jeep dealership for another inspection. I was then informed that the engine is now seized and I'm being quoted around $11,000 for a new engine. I'm extremely disappointed with the repeated misdiagnosis and lack of urgency regarding serious symptoms like engine shaking and exhaust smoke. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

I went in for a transmission that was shifting hard in automatic mode. After what was described as a diagnostic, Justin immediately recommended a full transmission replacement--without walking through other common, less expensive causes like control module or valve body issues. What's frustrating is that Gemba's own messaging says they focus on root-cause diagnostics, transparency, and avoiding unnecessary upsells: "We fix the root cause... No pressure. Just the truth." That wasn't my experience. I wasn't shown clear proof or given alternative options before being told I needed one of the most expensive repairs possible. After a routine oil change, I was also suddenly told I now need an oil pressure switch, which raises additional concerns - are they manufacturing problems to drive ticket value? I've since heard similar experiences from others being told they need full transmissions as well, which makes this feel less like a case-by-case diagnosis. I recommend getting a second opinion before committing to major repairs here.

Bill uses high-quality materials, he used Suntek for my 30% tint and made sure it was legal to drive in California (since I'm not too well-versed in car detailing and legal window tint shades at all). For the 7-year/lifetime ceramic coating, Bill used Opticoat Pro Plus over the body of my car, which has an amazingly smooth and glossy finish. He recommended Opticoat Glass Pro ceramic coating for my windshield and windows as well (to prevent high-speed rock damages on the freeway), which I happily agreed to get. I really appreciated all of Bill's thoughtful recommendations, especially knowing the weather up in the Bay Area where I'm originally from. All of these customizations together cost $1998, which is far less than what I had been quoted by certain shops back in the Bay. Also Bill's turn around time for coating and curing the car was less than 2 days for everything, whereas I had been quoted over a week back in the Bay (and with a much longer commute from where I live!) For the quality of service, details, and kind customer service, I'd recommend any friend in Arizona to go on over and visit Bill for detailing and work - 11/10! Thanks so much for making my old gal so spotless and more resilient, even in older age!!

It also had watermarks on the faux suede inserts in the seats. I recently took it to Crystal Clear to find out if there was anything I could do short of a repaint. They told me they could do a "paint correction" and they felt the seats should clean up fairly well. They gave me a price and we scheduled it for 2 days this week. I picked the car up yesterday and I'm extremely happy with the results. It looks like a new car and they charged me a reasonable price!
