The one on Tatum/Cactus has super pushy employees at the onset trying to force you into fixing the tiniest little chips in your windshield. I literally JUST had My windshield replaced two weeks ago and there is zero wrong with it today and yet they pushed and pushed and I finally said can we please not? And just let me wash my car? I arrived at Oil Lube and was greeted by an employee immediately with a friendly smile. He got my info and directed me inside to pay. As I sat on the couch watching my oil change complete within 20 minutes, which is a normal timeframe for that type of service. As my car exited over to the full-service car wash side, I could see it clearly in lane one on the monitors. As I sat there and waited, waited, and waited some more, I noticed the disorganization of the finish line. With 24 years of car wash experience, I'm quite familiar with moving cars through a car wash. After sitting and waiting some more, I asked the number one manager, Mattel, if I could have my keys and I would clean the windows myself over at the self-service vacuum lanes. He reminded me that the last time I had made a comment about the vehicles moving too slowly on the finish line. When I expressed to him that they were moving too slowly on the finish line and that no one should wait 40 minutes in the finish line, I was then told by Michel, "If you don't like how long it takes, don't come back." I said, "Okay," then jumped in my truck, and as I was leaving, he sarcastically said, "BYE BYE!!!" and waved his arm. I think this individual should never be a send-off employee in this field or any other. A simple, "No problem, I'll get right on it," or "No problem, here are your keys, and we'll do better next time," would have been appreciated. I will return for an oil change, but until this clown is at a different location, I will never have my vehicle or any of my fleet vehicles return for a full-service car wash. read more

i've been going to Cobblestone Auto Spa for 10+ I have accumulated points. When I went to use my points for an oil change, I was told that's fine as long as you have enough points. I had over 10,000 points at the time. I explained to the lady in the service department that I wanted to use Mobile one and she told me that it would be additional points because that's an upgraded oil. Feeling pretty confident that I had enough points. I was fine with that. however, when I went in to have the my oil they said it only paid for a basic oil change and I would have to pay an additional $154. I said that's not what your representative just told me. So not only did I lose 1000 points for the basic oil change, but I was at a standstill with them and eventually my day come to an end so I ponied and got my oil changed.. I would not have done this. Had they not dumped my oil already and they were telling me I could go buy my own oil and I asked with what car because mine currently has no oil in it.. After about an hour of arguing with Carlos and him going to talk to the service department, they just called me a liar and told me I could forfeit all 10,000 of my points or I would have to pay. This is the biggest bait and switch I've ever seen in my life. I do not typically give reviews but in this situation, I felt warranted to do so for the fact that they advertise one thing and obviously the employees don't communicate because I don't think that did it maliciously I just think she didn't know.. And she has management who don't care about me. I've been coming here for over 10 years and up until recently. I had over 15,000 points. I just started using them. I had a transmission flush the time before this.. I would be very hesitant to use cobblestone for any of their services other than a car wash. The employees do not communicate with each other the lack of management skills and don't try to call corporate because you cannot get through to a human being to save your life.. I will definitely be looking for a new place to do my business. Very shady company with horrible management. I didn't want anything, but what was advertised to me. It's sad when you do business company for so many years and loyal and you would think valued customer to be treated this way over $154. I guess that shows what my value to them is. I went there on 8/23/24 to get a Car Wash. Jose was so pushy he wouldn't even allow me to get ONE car wash. He kept pushing and pushing and pushing (5 times mind you) saying repeatedly "you really should sign up for a membership, it's a better deal if you get a membership". I finally asked if he was going to allow me to get just ONE car wash, and again he said "You really should get a membership". So I left and will never return now. I honestly have never experienced anything like this. So unprofessional. I used to love this place, but it obviously has changed. Either management is pushing their sales staff or Jose is desperate. I came in today to wash my car and paid $39 for a full service wash. They handed the car back to me with liquid running of my wheels and dirt on my step rail. I advised the crew member to please wipe down the wheels of the excess residue from the wheel cleaner and wipe off the dirt the other member had placed his foot to reach over the roof area to wipe off the excess water. His foot mark left a dirty stain on my side step. When I asked him to please wipe off the excess dirt left from the other workers shoe mark, he wiped half of it. I understood what he was doing and that was not cool. If your employees don't want to work there they should look for another job. I paid for my service and for $39 I received unsatisfactory service. This does not look good for the owner as the reviews are very poor on yelp. I will not come back and would not recommend anyone to wash there cars here. Ended up with under inflated tires, oil leaks on the engine and they OVER FILLED my oil by an entire quart! (Can you say blown seals!) Thank goodness my husband is a mechanic. They need to work on quality control. I brought my car in and it looked like it had hardly been vacuumed and interior hadn't been wiped down. Even the outside still had dirt, water spots, etc. This has happened to me several times when I've taken my cars here. They lack any attention to detail. One time I paid for a detail here, and my car smelled of dirty mop water, I had to take it back. I continued to go back due to convenience, but this will be my last time. I like cobblestone. It has a lot of amenities and never had any issues with the car wash. Sure I have to wipe inside of trunk after the wash but it's no big deal as the hard work is already done. They are really customer orientated and the lobby has cold AC, you can see the video screens with your car going into wash and the free popcorn and internet is great. I've been to a lot of car washes in my life and I can easily say that cobblestone is one of the nicer ones in the valley. And maybe the biggest one too now with like 30 locations!! My credit card was charged for Fast Track service that I never signed up for. When I got my last car was there I was asked if I wanted "1 was or all month" I said 1 wash and the guy insisted that it was the same price that month if I got all month. Fast Track or monthly charges were never mentioned. These are deceptive practices. I would never recommend this place to anyone again. When you go to get a car wash, they did a good job. someone was being nosy and they took $170 out of my council seat. People work hard for there many now a days. I'm ok with the car wash but for an employee to take personal property from me is not cool. Looks like I will not be giving service to this Cobblestone again. I was able to contact the manager. The person who was original handling the incident had been let go. It turns out the emergency stop button was non-functioning and the worker should have left the car in neutral (so that my truck would push it out of the wash vs staying on the brake). The current manager supposedly tried to contact me a couple weeks ago but I missed the call (very likely; I rarely am able to answer calls while working). Anyway, I was able to meet with the manager and discuss the situation and we agreed to a remedy for the situation. He seems like a trustworthy individual, so I am hopeful that he will hold up his end of the deal. I will continue to use this car wash, although lately the dryers seem to leave a lot of water on the car. read more

Do not recommend. It's all a bait and switch. Under a plan but did not fully utilize it so decided to canx. Upon emailing them to canx they offered me the basic plan for $20. Not introductory price just their basic plan. After 4 mos of the $20 they went back to the original price of $34. I brought the mistake to their attention immediately and they charged the account again the next month for higher amount. I brought this to their attention via email AGAIN and " they"responded differently. When I say "they" I had 2 different people answer the reasons for different causes why the mistake. I don't use the car wash enough to justify $34 / mo. $28 total overage and they still say it's my intro price. Well canx my membership like I wanted to in the 1st place. It feels like a bait and switch to me. Goodness I'm not gonna go through this stress for a car wash. It definitely feels like that gym membership back in early 2000s that you can't get out of. Surrounding the pumps you have a private area with 10 FREE to use vacuums, Floor Matt cleaner, and FREE to use clean towels (extra convenient). Car wash is a full service with detailing packages and even a Express 2 minute car wash option (extra convenient for those in a rush), which I have taken advantage a few times. Going back to Full Service, they can perform Oil Changes and Winshield Services (I have not tried either one nor do I plan to). No appointment needed. Really nice and comfortable car wash seating areas. Inside with TVs, coin operated Massage Chairs, FREE popcorn and a large convenient store. Dunkin Donuts has been removed (which is a bummer). Car wash employees are attentive to details. Out of a handful of times, I never had to call back a member to dry/clean an area they missed. They even have monthly car wash packages. read more

I filled up with gas at the Scottsdale location and accidentally left my debit card there. I have never been so disappointed and upset with a customer service experience EVER! There are no words to express how much this company could care less about their customers. Don't ever have a problem or concern or emergent need from them. First when you try to call it sends you to a central voicemail. It lies and tells you you will get to speak to someone but you won't get to. You can leave a message which they won't get back to you or leave a number for them to call back. Now half of your day is gone! When they do call back they can't give you the specific location you went too so you can check if they have your lost card. But they can message them and they will call you. Believe me they won't call. You cannot talk to anyone who can or will help you. I will never ever use one of their facilities again. Worst experience I have ever had. Over 24 hours now and still no call or help after five or six calls I finally shut down my card and pay to get it sent to me all because this company couldn't pick up the phone and make a phone call to help me. The only reason they are not getting one star is because employees from the autoshop came and tried to help me (customer service) even though it was an issue with the car wash side. Normally the car looks great after a machine wax and wash but this looked like somebody sprayed acid on my car and tried using sandpaper to wipe it off. Wax and buffer mostly fixed it. read more

If you like washing your own car and want to save some water it's pretty good. You will have to take the dirt from the back of your SUV and clean the wheels because the machine doesn't do it, also don't forget to dry it because the machine doesn't do that very well either. Beware it is almost impossible to cancel the auto drafting even when you move out of town. First time coming here & Paid for the "Diamond" wash, for $79.99. Was told my interior would be "conditioned" and the process would take about 30mins. It was busy and my car was ready after 15mins. Lol. Outside is still a bit dirty because of course the wash Machine isn't a human. inside was just vacuumed, and wiped down with a cloth for dust. 2 stars are only because the employee, Spencer, was nice and the car was washed. Overall, I'm not the type to get upset, complain and make someone fix something. I Cannot give less than 1. I went in for the first time, telling the person checking me in that this was my first time here. I asked for a best car wash (I had my reasons for wanting a full and complete wash). It was $60 but I was okay with that. Then comes the hard sell of getting this and that all for $300. No. I just need a wash, yes I know you will not get all the dog hair out, I'm more concerned with the outside. Took almost 90 minutes, even though I was one of 3 people there. It sat in the vacuum area for almost 40 minutes alone. Then I went to pick up the car and they asked for my ticket, which I was never told to keep since I had mentioned this was my first time there. I have been a two vehicle member for over a year. Went in today to upgrade my membership and add a third vehicle. I went into the wrong office, and I guess it was the oil change department break or service room. I wasn't sure where to go, so I waited for someone. A technician came in and completely refused to acknowledge my presence. So after about 5 minutes, out of frustration, I asked him if he was going to make me wait to finish his task before he asked me why I was standing there. In response, he asked me who asked me to come in there, as if I had intruded into his private home. It was an exterior front door to the business. I tried to explain to him that I was told to come into the office to manage my plan, but he immediately matched my frustration with confrontation. Never had a bad experience before. I loved the place. The staff is usually great and very helpful. This is why I have been a loyal customer for more than a year. But did I really just go to Cobblestone to upgrade my plan and add a vehicle, but instead, I almost got into a fight with a technician for having sought service in the wrong office. read more

I recently moved to Glendale and had to cancel my car wash membership with a company due to proximity, sadly a friend told me about a new location of Cobblestone down the road at Cactus and 67th Ave - I am at least a weekly run my truck thru the wash person - so I decided to give it a shot. I paid for the highest wash, went through and was stopped by an employee who told me that the system hadn't washed the soap off my truck and that he was sending me back thru free of charge. I asked him if this was typical and he advised he'd never seen this happen and I told him I was interested in a membership (even with a hiccup, I appreciated his attention to detail and concern for my wash being good). He signed me up for the $37 a month membership and I went thru for the second wash. Upon getting out of the wash - I stopped another crew member and asked him if it looked like the soap had been rinsed - he said he thought so and I expressed concern that only half of my truck had been dried by the blowers - he told me that some of the blowers must not be working.... The next day after I got to work and was able to see it in the sun - I realized that there was dried soap all over the backdoor and sides of the bed of the truck, there were water spots all over from it not being dried properly. I called and left a voicemail (you can't get anyone on the phone) asking to be contacted - waited a week and still heard nothing. So I submitted a form online explaining the situation and was offered a "penny pause" of my membership with a refund, I said that I wanted it cancelled and refunded and got told they couldn't refund the first month.... I literally used this car wash one time and single paid for that wash... The $37.00 membership has never been used at any location... You are a disappointment and a disgrace of a company, your customer service is trash. I guess you figured out a way to keep the lights on though. read more

So we've been going to Cobblestone for years. I always used the coupons and went when in need. After getting my partner a new, all-black Cadillac CT6 I decided to buy a wash package. He loves a clean car that's full of gas. The wash package and the car were great decisions. Before I go any further, I highly recommend going to see Josh in the check-in lane to buy a wash package. He'll fix you right up and provides great service every single time I see him. Personally I prefer to pre-pay annually, none of this monthly debit BS, but hey it's your choice. Here's how it works with a wash package: Pull up, the attendant scans the barcode sticker (for aestethics, I recommend putting it in the door jamb rather than in the window) you walk in get your paid receipt, wait for your car to be done, tip the dry side attendant and drive away. And if you're short on time you can use the Express Lane too. What I've found is when you have a wash package they hassle you less for upgrades, details, etc. It's not to say they don't ask which always drives my partner nuts, but unless I want one of the services I just say "no, thank you" and I'm on my way. You can't blame them for trying to make a living. And who knows, you may need a detail anyway. Lastly, if you want to avoid the crowds and the long wait, go early weekend mornings or very late in the afternoon, just before closing. read more

Went to cobblestone this morning to get my oil changed and get my car washed. I decided to go with the most expensive car wash they provided (Ultimate Plus), an boy do I regret it. Spent over $100 and the front grill still had bugs and dirt on it, my rims were still ridiculously dirty, as well as under my front lights. My family has been coming her for a long time, but it has definitely fallen off on the quality they provide. I feel ripped off, and will not be bring my vehicle here -Updated: Store manager reached out quickly and had me come back in for a re-wash. They were very apologetic, and promptly got me my car the way it should have been the first time. They also gave my car a wax for my troubles.
