For a $39 platinum wash, my expectations were not met. Had to go in again to make sure they took care of it. Glass had my dogs licking stains on inside window, dry dust on inside panel near gear etc and even the deodorant was not sprayed. Even dead insect stains were not fully gone on windshield. Costco does better job for $7. Will try another location which is further away. Looks like a manager lady who might have been behind the counter and laughed a lot unnecessarily, told me that dust on driver controls and panel in front of driver seat was only taken care of during detailing which costs more. Don't know what to say. Maybe I will just get some rags and clean my car itself. Will do a better job myself. read more

Went to Cobblestone to get my car washed, left Cobblestone needing a windshield replacement... Is the car clean? Yes- more so than they usually do but Am I satisfied? No- because a simple errand turned into an awkward exchange, a phone call to my insurance, an appt for replacement & the need to write this review. As soon as they called me to my car, I noticed the huge new crack. I said something to the person & he blamed the temperature outside. He said hot days are problematic and the same thing happened to his car. I was surprised and annoyed but it was clear he wasn't going to take responsibility, so ‍? I snapped this photo and sent it to my husband who noticed the scratch on the top of the car immediately. This wasn't temperature related, something pressed down on my roof and then continued onto the windshield- something with enough force to scratch the paint and crack the windshield. We both felt like the representative was just trying to politely send me on my way & I assume I didn't/wouldn't know any better. Today is not the hottest day of summer, nor was it the hottest part of the afternoon. I hadn't been parked in the sun immediately prior to this. It wasn't heat. It was the car wash and I wasn't taken seriously with my concerns. Cobblestone carwashs aren't cheap. This company does not honor the written terms of their promotions. Bought a Groupon for 3 washes that they say can be used for either the "works" wash or a "$23.99 credit towards any other full service wash". Upon paying for my carwash (after they had already started), I was told they wouldn't apply the offered credit because I selected a "full service handwash" and that costs them more labor. Was told if I wanted them to honor their agreement, I'd have to pay a higher than retail price. I'm still confused as to why this wasn't in the terms and conditions that they wrote from their email account when they sent the certificates out. They blamed Groupon as if Groupon somehow had control over their email address. What was also confusing was being berated in the lobby by the staff. Now I'm stuck with unused certificates that will go to waste. Obviously, 1 star for terrible customer service. My wife got talked in to paying up front for a detailing; she wanted to do something sweet for me for my birthday. When it came to my birthday, I decided that I had no need for this 300 dollar detailing. I simply went to the store as any consumer to return a product that was never used and get those funds back... Not only did the store not care about this situation or the fact that this is literally weeks worth of groceries - they also don't care to burn a customer relationship to the ground by caring more about selling you something then by standing by the brand. You CAN get great service for cheaper - I have. You CAN shop a smaller business that cares more about you as a customer. You absolutely should consider taking your money somewhere else. Anyone who just wants you to accept less service for no reason needs to not get your money. This company basically tricked my wife into a non-refundable card and created a customer service structure where the customer DOESN'T MATTER. My advice to Cobblestone - with all the money you spend on flyers and promos and marketing - you could just SPEND THE MONEY TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS BETTER. In times of economic hardship and an insane pandemic - you keeping my 300 dollars and losing my business forever is not a proper strategy. Look around at your reviews on YELP compared to all the other auto Spas... Cobblestone has forgotten that they offer a service and they are here to help people. Shame on any company that wants to punish a consumer relationship because of some stupid return policy. Fast service, no sales pressure, good value! The waiting area has food, drinks and miscellaneous items for sale. The seating can't be beat! Nice cushioned chairs and couches and plenty of them. Update: I got my car washed today and was planning on getting the $18 service but they said the $24 was so much better... I disagree. I should have looked at everything before I drove away. They didn't dust the dash, or anywhere else. My car really needed to be dusted and it's obvious they didn't do it. The floors look good but the seats weren't touched. Within minutes of writing this previous review, Ryan, an operations manager messaged me and asked me to bring the car back. He said they did a terrible job and wanted to make it right. I wasn't far so I took it back right away. They took it to the details center and cleaned it from top to bottom. They did extra cleaning services to make up for it. I would be very careful in getting your oil changed by the company. About 5 months ago I took my wife's 2019 Santa Fe in for a oil change. At the time an oil change was about $30, but when I arrived I was told it would be about $90 to do it. I declined the bait and switch oil change, and all the "other" add-on's they tried to get me to buy. The shop manager appeared to upset that I didn't want anything else done on my car. I left about 30 mins later feeling ok about the experience. Now it comes to today, where the oil change is needed again. I have a lot of mechanical experience, so I decide to tackle this job my self to save $$. When I try to remove the drain plug, it wouldn't come off with a socket wrench. I then put an pipe extension on to break it free, and still wouldn't budge. I finally had to use an impact socket wrench to break it free. The torque on this drain plug is supposed to be 25 foot pounds! I'm very upset that they found it necessary to over tighten my oil plug. I'm attaching a pic of the crush washer compared to a new washer. Go somewhere else for an honest, reliable oil change. read more

After driving cross country, my baby needed a bath and some serious scrubbing. After looking for a place close, we decided on Cobblestone. Upon arrival, the entrance was open and easy. 2 choices whether you wanted full service or not. We choose self service and as I drive up to the machine, was easy based on the clear options available. Even so, a nice assistant checked on us to see if we needed any assistance. This was nice as even though it was self service there was still an attendant close by. We proceeded to the wash bay and executed the ramps perfectly. Threw it into neutral and watched as my baby got its much needed cleaning. I always feel like she runs better after a wash and this was no different. Came out clean and dry and no need to turn on the wipers to get the excess water off. Overall a great experience. read more

I brought my car in because of a mess made in back by my dog. Salesman sold me a package for unlimited car washes for the month of December only!! I asked him if it would renew and he said it was a month pass only. Just got automatically charged for 35$. I immediately called to cancel and was told to call back in 2 hours so it could be taken care of. Don't trust them for anything. However today I tried to wash my car two times because I had been driving all day. I was then told that I'm only allowed to wash once per day. If they have a sign that said "wash your car once a day for one montgly fee" and i sign up for that, sure no problem. Josue and team did a great job performing preventive maintenance on my mini van. They kept me informed and made me aware of costs prior to performing the work. They were pleasant and professional. I think they cost less than some of the other oil change services in the valley. Since the site is at Cobblestone, customers can sit inside on recliners and watch while the work is done. Went today and purchased the "Ultimate Plus" wash for $37. If I am paying that amount for a full service car wash, I would expect that the interior would be wiped down with a cloth. Not a deep cleaning, just a simple wipe down. Shame on me for not knowing that "full service" actually means only the dash would be wiped down. I visited 3739 East Bell Road location and actually liked the service and would have been a long time customer but the heavy marketing set in. Harassing me via text just makes me furious. I called that location this morning and asked for the name of the manager and the woman who answered the phone said she was the manager but refused to give me her name. I very politely asked that she remove me from their contact list and she said to do it myself. I have tried several times to opt out of their text marketing but it just keeps coming. There has been 210 complaints on the BBB within the last three years and now I see why. I have started to come here instead of Jacksons by Paradise Valley Mall. Cobblestone is much better as far as the wash itself. My car is clean inside and out when I leave. I also appreciate that they take no for an answer when i say I am not interested in any of the packages or special deals. I hated the way I was immediately surrounded when I pulled into Jackson's with men trying to bully me into buying things or fix a little spot on my windshield or get tires. Went in today for services oil change and car wash. Lube and tube great service, gals inside great! The ones to dry and amour your car was terrible with rude customer service. But the manager Aaron handle the complaint amazing! I give 4 stars because the facility is great and I recommend it to anyone, and I have full confidence they will take great care in your car. I know if you have an issue they will handle it well. Aaron wanted to make sure I was taken care of and refunded my money for my wash. So please go there. FRAUD! STOLEN CARD! Pulled in to fill up my car with gas. After messing with the machine for 15 minutes it said I had to give it my phone number in order to pump gas so I said screw it went inside and asked her to put five dollars on pump nine so I could just get enough to get home and fill up somewhere else. I came in to Cobblestone on 12/06/21 to get my car washed to which I usually get the cheapest wash and do the rest myself because I ALWAYS leave feeling disappointed with how they do it. However I did not have time and decided to do a full wash. First and foremost I want to say in this entire experience not once was anyone rude with me, in fact extremely nice which is why I decided to give it a shot. The gentleman Michael talked me into a detail and wash which came to about $93 I believe. After sitting there for an hour he came and told me that they would not have time to complete it for me that day because they wanted to do a great job. He asked if I could come back another day and that they would give me another wash for free on that day. Okay fine I can respect that. That said, I came back on Sunday 12/12/21 to which I was told again that they could not do it because it was too late in the afternoon, which I understood. That said, I came back at 7:30 am on Monday 12/13/21 and the gentleman talked me into a deeper detail that was $89 more to which I declined and he said what if we do it for $69. So, I accepted and asked him how long it would take and he responded with an hour to an hour and a half because he said that I was their first detail of the day. He asked if I was staying or coming back to pick up my car. Given he said an hour and a half at most I chose to stay. finally at 10 am I asked the lady at the counter to check because it had almost been 3 hours. She came in and said 15 more minutes because there was two cars ahead of me. This was news to me because I was told that my car was their first detail. About 5 minutes passed and the gentleman that upsold me came in and asked me if I was going to continue to stay to which I was obviously confused about because in my mind if I stayed 3 and a half hours, at this point what is 15 more minutes. So I questioned him given that she just told me 15 minutes and he seemed to change his story at that point at least that is how it felt. I work in the service industry and I get that when there is a lot going on sometimes we can be forgetful or get one customer confused with another. He proceeded to tell me that he did not realized that there was two cars that had stayed overnight that needed to be completed before mine and told me they had been working on my car the entire time. I did not argue with him but I did watch my car sit there for the first hour completely untouched. They never once came to communicate with me. To be fair when I brought that up to him he did apologize, but communication goes along way even when the guest or customer is not going to like what they hear. That said, I know nothing about the car detail business, but I do believe that they could have told me what to or what not to expect given the amount I was spending as far as how clean they could get it and the time spent to get there. This entire experience was frustrating, and extremely disappointing. I got my car back by 11:15 ish am which at this point was almost 4 hours after coming in and to say I was disappointed at the result would be an understatement. I understand there were many stains in the upholstery, to which many of them were spilled water bottles from my kids because that is all I allow drink wise in my car and then a stain from a bottle of lotion that was sat on. I just really struggle to understand how my car looks like this after 4 hours. I spent $170 for every stain to still be completely visible when I left and I had to pull the manager Rio aside and show him to which I was told to come back again. I don't want to come back. My carpet wasn't vacuumed well. Yes I have a dog but when I do the carpet myself I can easily get all the hair out with a little extra effort and about 20 minutes. Secondly I am aware that my car had a few scratches but it came back with scratches that were not there when it went in. Third my windows and mirrors still had finger prints all over them when I left last week and I figured they will get it when I come back for the detail to which they did not. Lastly in total between all my visits I have spent easily over 5 hours of my time there which would be worth it to leave with a good detail, but it wasn't. I don't want to come back as I am a single mom that works 50 plus hours a week and I want my money back is what I want. My next review will be the BBB because while customer service was nice, nice does not replace the awful work that was done nor the $170 spent. If it was going to take a deeper more pricey detail that should have been communicated to me before a spend a dime so that I could have the decision for myself to make as to whether I wanted to proceed or wait to save the money to walk away with what I expected. I called to speak with the store manager because after my most recent service my car started cutting out. So, I took it to the manufacture dealership and they told me that the wrong fluid was put in my transmission. I informed the manager that the dealership service man was going to provide me details but I wanted to give him a heads up so we can rectify the situation when my car gets out of the shop. He tells me that I signed a waiver and that because I took it somewhere else it's not their fault. Questionable! He then tells me that I don't know any details so I shouldn't have called. I replied, correct I don't have all the details. I was making the call as a courtesy, but will come see him when they are available. I told him The phone call was a heads up so that they can pull paperwork and we can get this resolved quickly but he told me I don't have the details so I can't say it was their fault, then hung up. Based on this guy's quick bad attitude I'm sure I'm not the first person that has complained about him, but it could get better when I see him in person and I will make another review based on that. read more

Horrible job! I usually go to the one on N Scottsdale but thought I'd give this one a try. From beginning to end it was done in 10 minutes. They sprayed the inside but didn't wipe it down. They didn't get any of the bugs off the front and when I opened the trunk to put in a package water poured down. I ended up grabbing a towel and drying it off myself. A manager came by and started to help. He said "your car looks great" I got flustered because I don't like to argue but I wasn't done wiping it off so I got in and drove away. I'm glad it rained the next day so I have an excuse to get it washed again! read more

Joe acted like he didn't know what I was talking about said there was no such report and he had no such paperwork. Joe never even looked at my vehicle.
