Came here to renew my membership someone took my card told me I was good to go, seen they took $31 from my bank, came the next day to get a wash and it said I had no more washes, the same guy who took my payment was also confused, talked to the manager even showed him the charge from my bank account and he said he can't do anything about it since the worker didn't give me my receipt and that I was lying about the employee taking a $31 payment even though I showed him my bank statement when it took the money! SMH don't come here all they care about is money. Definitely will be letting my friends and family know how horrible customer service they are. read more

I went in Monday to get my car washed. They talked me into half off detailing. So I did it. Picked up my car. There was dust on the left corner of my dashboard, and something was sprayed on my passenger side windshield and little side window. I worked all week so I couldn't get in for a redo until today Saturday. After four and a half hours I pick up my car and windows were still dirty! I am canceling my membership! I will never go back again! I'm very disappointed! read more

I went to the 51st & Bell location for the Ultimate Wash. The complete process took no more than 10 minutes and I can see why. As I was driving away, I noticed the new car scent I requested was not added. It also didn't look like they spent much wiping down the interior as it still looked dusty in spots. When I got home, I lifted the tailgate (crossover) and saw that they didn't vacuum, even though I removed everything beforehand. I also saw the handful of black scuff marks along the side of my car were still there. They are easily removed by rubbing them off, but apparently there was no effort put into wiping down my car. I doubt I even got the benefits of the Ultimate Wash. I ended up vacuuming and wiping down my car myself when I got home. Not what I expect to do when I paid for a $36 wash and tipped 20%. Cobblestone won't ever get my business again. BJ's needs to come back. Their crew did a great job at making sure my car was clean. read more

Took my fathers 2020 Chevy hunting this season, had some trail scrapes from branches. Needed a wax and polish to get it back to looking good. Initially didn't get the service I wanted, partial fault of mine for not being clear. For $70 I got a spray on ceramic coat( didn't fix the scratches). This is we're Richard ( car wash manager) came in. He observed me inspecting the paint, after a couple of questions he knew what I needed. Keep in mind it's Saturday 5:59 pm and they close at 6. Richard dedicated to consumer service offered to hand wax the truck that night. We ended up deciding the next morning would be best. It's a breath of fresh air to have some costumer service. Richard and his detail specialist didn't charge me any extra but went the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction. I appreciate Richard and his team here on 51st and bell road. read more

AWFUL!!!!!!!!!! Arrived at 9a to get a wash. Talked into buying an unlimited plan. I got the Platinum wash. The best and most expensive. 950a not ready so I go and ask the guy if my car is done. Replies ya, go ahead without checking my receipt. I look in the car. Not vacuumed and mats not replaced. See pics. Tell him. No responsibility taken and blames the front. No resolution Drive back to front. Nice guy says he'll do it again. I don't have time as I've been there an hour. Gets manager. Derrick apologizing and offers to vacuum again. Platinum wash and not vacuumed and windows not done. He offers to vacuum himself. No above and beyond offer but to just do what i paid and asked for an hour earlier. I complain. I vacuumed myself. AWFUL SERVICE. AWFUL RESPONSE AGAIN.... SLOW!!!!!!!!!! Came to cancel my 3 month plan from last visit. Had to ask 3 times to cancel to finally be told I had to go online. Got oil change. Took over an hour. Glad my commitment is over so I can move on from this lazy place. read more

I used to go to the Cobblestone Auto Spa in Surprise but it's pretty far from my home so I was thrilled when they opened the new location at 51 Ave and Bell Road. I bought the Supreme Wash Unlimited plan ($29 a month) and I go there every week so my truck is always sparkling. The employees are always cheerful and really hustle to get your car done perfectly and in a timely manner. I must admit, I also go there to get the free popcorn they give for you to eat while you are waiting for your car to be done, ha! They also have no-appointment oil changes and brake inspections at this location, as well as DIY drive-through lanes. I've done this a few times as well as the full service, and I like all the things they have readily accessible.... dash wipes, trash bags, drip towels etc are all complimentary and available before you drive through. Someone is always there to guide you on to the conveyor, and he pre-suds your car as well. After exiting the tunnel, there's a huge area with spacious stalls for you to detail finish your car, including microfiber towels, strong vacuums, and even hand held air blowers. read more

I got yelled at when I went last week, lol. I got an oil change and car wash and having been my first time I wasn't sure how the process worked. There was a sign to designate an entrance for oil changes but nothing else. So I waited and then I was then screamed at, not a 'loud enough that you can hear me above all the noise pollution' yell, but a 'wtf are you doing you idiot' kind of yell as an older mechanic directed me. And as I was getting out of my car he was talking to the younger staff, seemingly encouraging the same behavior in them. So good luck with that. Very disappointed with them. Came here to get my car detailed. Hours after the wash, I rode in the car and received painful chemical burns all over my legs and behind. I know they are burns because my skin blistered in some areas and now 5 days after the reaction, my skin is now peeling off like it would from a sunburn. The response from the general manager is claiming it's just irritation from having sensitive skin, which I do not have. No offer to rinse the seat the way it should have been the first time. No credit or compensation offered. Definitely never doing business here again. Paid $150 for a car detail, ended up with burns instead. Lovely business practice! read more

Sales person (Jose) was VERY aggresive, I had to interrupt Jose multiple times as I knew what I wanted. This was our first experience with this brand, so after purchasing the car wash, I asked where we should wait, est how long it would take. I was pointed to a door. An hour later, I asked the young lady behind the cash register about my car. Not even looking up, she told me someone would call my name. 2.5hrs later, I asked another young lady who went to check on the car. She sheepishly returned to tell me our car had been finished. I never found out how long it had been finished. As sold to me by Jose, the car is not sparkling clean. The windows are a mess, the tire rims remain dirty, and the vaccum never touched the back of the car. I'm not really in a hurry to do business with this brand again. read more

I've been going here for a few years now and loved it. Was a bit weary about coming here because of pricing but always worth the money spent. The mechanic staff are extremely versed in their profession, nice, honest and go above and beyond to help you. Service from Robert, Shawn, Ray & Larl in Oil & Lube, shout out to them for helping me with my oil cap which they went out of their way in calling a dealership for a new cap. Robert went out and got it and put it in my car. I'm a young female and always feel comfortable coming here not having to worry about being taken advantage of due to my lack of mechanical knowledge. I went in to get a car wash and detail on Friday 7-12-24 to get a wash and detail done. As I was going through my car gathering my valuables, the attendant stated that they would gather my things for me and put them aside for me since there were cars behind me trying to get checked in too. I agreed and after paying for the detail service I went inside to wait. 2 hours later an attendant brought me out to the garage to get my vehicle. The attendant told me that all my belongings were in a black garbage bag on the floor next to my car. When I got home I went through the bag and discovered that everything was there except for a wedding band that was in the driver side door handle. ( my bad for setting it there in the first place) When I realized it was gone I called the shop and it was closed. I tried again, 3 times on Saturday only to be put on hold for 15 minutes each time until I hung up. Sunday morning I was finally able to reach a manager and explain the situation. He gave me an email address to send a photograph of the ring and promised to go over camera footage and get back to me in a few hours. It is now Tuesday afternoon and have been trying to reach a managers numerous times in the past 3 days only to be put on hold each time. I'm hoping that someone will see this and return my call. read more

The man told me he would discount the wash and give me the rest of the month unlimited. I agreed since I was just going to bring it back once a week for the rest of the month. Come today, I see a charge for this same amount. He signed me up for a reoccurring membership which was NEVER discussed. I tried to call their customer service line (which they never answer, hmm, wonder why). I was thankful I got someone from corporate who refunded my original wash and the membership. I have been going to this location for years. Used to be good however they have become absolutely terrible. I pay $50 for a car wash and there is dirt and spots all over, the armor all is slipped on and not fully applied and I had to ask the crew to wipe it on evenly. I shouldn't have ask them to clean and wipe down. Waste of money. This has happened co timually and I have had enough. They have lost a customer, two actually as my daughter no longer goes there either. read more

I've been taking my car here for cleaning for over a year but today was the last time. I figured last visit was a fluke but I see today it's not. Again the interior or my car is not cleaned satisfactorily. They do not wipe everything down like they are supposed to. There is dust, beverage splash marks and crumbs or small debris still in cup holders, door panels and dash. The last time I came they failed to clean off the suction cup marks from a phone holder off the inside of my windshield and it's still there after today, too. And it's not like when you're wiping the windshield you can miss it. Exterior is better than interior but still have bugs, etc. that was not cleaned off properly. Very disappointed and there won't be a third chance. I'll find another wash who will actually do what I pay them for. *Response: nope. We have a new Tesla that is ceramic-coated, so it can't go through the car wash or the lifetime warranty is voided. Well, this location does not have a foam cannon, but the manager said they have one on order and will contact us when it was supposed to come in about 2-3 weeks, and offered to do a hand wash. They used improper microfiber cloths w/ low-volume GSM, and don't correctly rinse or swish them in a different bucket between re-soaping, so they just rubbed the microfiber-trapped dirt all over the car and created swirls in the new paint and 9H coating. After it was "done", we checked the car, and there was smears all over the windshield both inside and out, and water spots all over the side mirrors and the body chrome. They re-did the wiping, but the results were still poor and smeared. The staff acted annoyed and in the several visits we've been there w/ our 2 nice vehicles, the customer service was very, very poor and sloppy. On Jul 12, corporate staff Emily emailed w/ our concerns - here is the response: "Hi Bruce - I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. I am going to have the manager of this site take over and reach out to you. They have a better understanding of the situation and I want them to try and make this right for you because we do not want to lose a loyal customer like yours to easy corrections." Guess what? No "manager" one ever reached out to us as expected, and all calls to the location went unanswered, and all emails and voice messages to Emily, Heather, and other corporate staff have been 100% ignored. All message left on their silly "Contact Us" form online have received zero responses to our follow-up. The manager never called us as promised, so we stopped by again recently and they said the foam cannon was on backorder, and would call us when it is due in. We call today the location and some guy who said he was the new "manager" claimed to not know anything about a foam cannon that was on order, and further stated he's "not going to buy something special for one person", and regarding the proper microfiber cloths for washing and drying a high-end ceramic-coated car, "we will use what we have", and was very argumentative and unpleasant. We won't be back, have shared, and will continue to spread the word of these unfortunate events w/ many neighbors in our Arrowhead Lakes community so they may avoid the inferior service and paint blemished to their autos. read more

This was my second time coming to this location. The first time, I went for an auto detailing for my car. While I feel that $150 was a bit inflated for what they did, they did an okay job. For my second visit, I was looking for an unlimited car wash package. At $29, they offered the cheapest, with the best value. The staff working at this location yesterday morning (August 10) was exceptionally rude. I told them I had been there two weeks prior for a detailing. One of the girls asked where I was parked and I told her that I was parked over in one of the vacuum stations, as there really isn't any "parking" on site. She gave me some attitude and asked what the make and model of my car was, because she had to go out and get my plate number. For some odd reason, they could not find me in the system from the two weeks prior, getting a detail. They made this HUGE deal about me not being found in their system. All I wanted to do was sign up for unlimited car washes. What and the hell does that have to do with my prior detailing work? Apparently it's a big deal. They then asked me to step aside so they could help other customers, and that someone from the detailing department would come talk to me.After several minutes, the detailing department rep went over and talked to one of the cashiers, and there was a lot of looking at me and finger pointing at me. It was rather rude and made me uncomfortable, and also angry. Then the detailing rep came over and told me that my former detail was not in the system and they would have to reach out to get corporate involved before they could help me. Remember, I am only wanting to sign up for unlimited car washes. This is getting out of control. I told the rep I would take my business elsewhere, and I have. I will not be returning to ANY of Cobblestone's locations again. In fact, we got such a good deal at Clean Freak, my partner, who has an unlimited wash pass at Cobblestone currently, will be leaving to join me at Clean Freak. They offer a multi-car discount. The cost for basic wash is $17 which in my book is way to much. In California car wash cost alot less & California is not known for lower prices. The attendance seem friendly etc . This review is strictly because of the cost for value. No tire dressing or inside leather dressing. Just no frills. Went 3 more times & paid more $27 & $35 took add gloss & my molding to have dressing done. However 2 times the front people doing vacuuming never pull up mates, I had to ask them, then paying $8 more for just molding to be done with solution that moisturizes plastic, i look and they did not do the front molding & the back was half....ss. Just dollar for value not worth it. It is you have one job to do , do it well not act like you are owed a job. read more

UPDATE: On 10/29/2019, Cobblestone debited my account for $49 even though they said it wouldn't happen. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a car wash . First, I am a regular customer of Cobblestone Auto Spa, have had excellent service at the Tempe and 5 freeway locations. I had never had interest in getting a fast pass until my wife convinced me and to get one at this location. So on 9/29, I came into this location to get a wash and purchase a fast pass for my car. Kenna, the attendant did a great job of informing me of the pass and what I was purchasing. He completely the sale and I went inside to finish the transaction. I put my debit card on for the reoccurring charges, tipped the attendant and left. I came back today, 10/5, and Kenna informed me that he did not add my car into the system for my fast pass. He processed my wash but told me to tell the desk clerk what happened and they would take care of it. I went inside and told the clerk what he said, and she immediately said that they couldn't put two cars on one pass and that she couldn't find my car in the system and called Dominick over to ask Kenna about it and asked me to have a seat while she helped other customers. So Dominick came back and asked me from across the busy lobby my wife's car information for the third time. I went to the desk to talk to him and he repeated that he couldn't find my car in the system either. I asked what could I do to feel like I am made whole and he said that he could take care of my wash today and I could purchase another pass. I then asked for information for the owner operator in which he responded that was him. I said that I would not purchase another pass and that I didn't want the debit that was set up last week to happen. He gave me his card and the general manager's card as well and told me to call back Tuesday. I felt like I was stealing from them based on their reactions. Worst car wash customer service ever, for any customer server for that matter. While it may be long and does not show my best side read the unanswered email and two phone calls to Cobblestone. The attached picture shows the damage to my leather seat and I confirmed the width of the damage conforms to the radio the drivers wear on their belts. I want to let you know of an unpleasant encounter with the car wash manager at your Bell and 51st Ave location. I believe the gentleman's name is Brenson or Branson, not sure which. When I called that location and asked for the car wash manager he was the one that picked up the line. I recently purchased the FastPass Ultimate+ plan. After this incident I will be cancelling as I will not be returning to Cobblestone for any future services. The incident started with my normal request to avoid using the upper brushes, I have a convertible and this was actually a recommendation from an employee on a previous visit. I then requested that the driver of my vehicle please remove the radio from their belt before getting into my vehicle. Background: Up until my first visit to Cobblestone I have hand washed my vehicle once or twice a week. I was in a rush one week and decided to use your service. I was sold on the FastPass as the work done and cost was reasonable. After my second visit I noticed a scratch in my leather seat, again this was after I left your facility so I have no definitive proof it was done by Cobblestone. The next time I had my car wash I compared the width of the radio to the two deep scratches in the seat. It was a match, again no definitive proof the damaged occurred at your location but circumstantial enough to request they remove it when driving my vehicle. Back to the incident. When I made the request to remove the radio someone walked up and confronted me asking "was I blaming them for damaging my seat." I did not know who this person was at the time, as it turns out it was the manager. I am not used to being verbally accosted by employees as a client and I am not sure what your corporate training policy is but you might want to reevaluate it. The unexpected comment and tone caused me to become defensive. My retort was similar to my background explanation and the added comment that Cobblestone was lucky I could not prove it as they would be repairing my seat. The manager continued to verbally argue with me, it was at this time I attempted to deescalate the situation and just turned to leave and head inside. As I came around my vehicle's rear I realized I had my key fob in my pocket. I stopped turned and pitched it onto the roof of my vehicle, it then slid down the front window and stopped on the windshield wiper. I did this in an attempt to remove myself from a situation that was uncomfortable and shocking to say the least. At this time the manager then yelled that "he would not have a customer throw keys at his employees". It was at this point I decided I was done with being talked to like this and turned around to address the accusation. First there the only "employee" near my car was the manager who was standing in front of my opened driver side door. The key landed on the top of my vehicle so unless the employee was standing on my top or the hood there was no "throwing of keys" AT anyone. It was at this point the situation deviated from me attempting to leave to a verbal confrontation. I am not proud of my comments, dropping the F word and telling him to shut up. He demanded I leave which I did. I believe the expectation of your staff delivering Outstanding Customer Service is just that an expectation. The actual delivery is one of the most shocking I have had in my life. I spent many years in my youth in the retail\customer service area and never in all those years heard of treating a customer in this fashion. I guess things have changed since my time or maybe this is indicative of the car wash industry. The situation was over but to call me back on the pretense of attempting to cause bodily harm by "throwing my keys" at an employee. Ridiculous, unprofessional and downright rude. I had a friend that witnessed the entire incident as I am sure your employees will rally around their manager. I do not expect you to really do anything about this but I thought you should be aware of what is going on at that location.
