The men who showed up where not prepared and lacked proper equipment. They showed up over a half hour late. One seemed visibly intoxicated. They didn't work together and in the process of moving heavy furniture, damaged several cabinets due to negligent moving and lacking proper equipment. When I requested to have our final invoice revised to account for the damage to our furniture I was informed that they have a policy where they make their customers pay in full for the move and then they will see if they will pay for damages. What a headache and what a bad practice to make your customers put more work into an already bad situation. I'll never use them again, too risky and they don't care about their customers at all.

What the heck was that about!!!??? Packing trash into the moving boxes along with my items like they were trash. They packed things like my safe when I told them not to. I've got many pictures and video of me unboxing my things to back up what I am saying here. The boxes were mislabeled, labeled clothes but in the box were dolls, a bag of donuts, food, clearly not clothes!! Why did they pack food with blankets? They even through in my dogs treats.! I am so mad and upset at how they just threw my things in boxes. Things were broke. Antique bottles smashed. Dolls that had their heads broke off and were discolored because whatever they were packed with bled into them. I can't get the stains out. All this got me so upset when I was unpacking I stopped and let the unpacking alone for some time. My ptsd was giving me severe anxiety at what I would see when I opened the boxes. It mad me cry how they did my things. Packing one shoe out of several different pairs was deliberate. My shoes were all together before they came in. I'm getting so upset writing this now. My health is fragile and they knew that. That did no respect my things at all. Treated my things like trash. That is very hurtful to me. I just had a heart attack! Who cares how they treated my things! Disgusting and so damn unprofessional. I was so upset at the condition of my room after they got done throwing my things in boxes that I called Duke and let him know how upset I was. I did not want them coming back. I found my dogs bone and a treat in my bed that night. What was that about? Add that to there messy unprofessional treatment of my things and shoes. They significantly underestimated the cost of our move, repeatedly missed promised delivery dates, communicated poorly, and delivered our daughter's belongings 16 days after pickup instead of the promised five business days. We hired them for a small move from Walnut Creek to Los Angeles. Sales representative Darrin quoted about $1,800 and said delivery would likely be the next day, or at worst within five business days. The pickup driver, Alex, confirmed the same. Neither promise was kept. At pickup, the price increased with charges for stairs, walking distance, furniture wrapping, moving blankets, and tape--fees never explained during the estimate. The final bill exceeded $3,300, nearly double the quote. The delivery process was even worse. After driving to Los Angeles expecting delivery, no one called as promised. Our repeated calls often went unanswered, and when we did reach someone, we received conflicting stories about where our shipment was and when it would arrive. Every promised delivery date passed without explanation. Because our daughter's bed was on the truck, we had to buy an air mattress. Bruce insisted they had a 21-day delivery window, but after finally receiving the Bill of Lading--which should have been provided at pickup--we confirmed it clearly stated delivery within five business days, with Alex even writing "No later than June 30." We repeatedly asked to speak with a manager, but no one ever returned our calls. When delivery finally occurred on July 4, they charged additional delivery fees despite previously assuring us they would be waived. Delays happen. The real issue was the lack of honesty and communication. We were repeatedly led to believe delivery was imminent instead of being told the truth, causing unnecessary stress, extra expense, and significant inconvenience. I sent out a moving request on Yelp and received a message promptly regarding price and availability. After getting the necessary information, I went ahead with booking. A couple of days before the move, I saw rain in the forecast and reached out to see if things would still move forward. Rain or shine, everything still went on as planned. Manny and Trey arrived on time and got to work ASAP. They loaded everything on the truck at the two requested locations and headed to Sacramento. Once we got to Sacramento, they started unloading everything. The move was to the 3rd floor of an apartment building with no elevator and down the hall from the stairs. Though it was a tough move, Manny and Trey were both patient, kind, and efficient. They even cracked a few jokes, and we shared some laughs. It began to rain at the end of the move, and they still continued with a positive attitude. I am so grateful for their hard work, amazing service, and dedication to helping me get moved in. Prior to the recent emergency, she was living independently with a friend. The friend is a male and is also elderly. He is a bit of a hoarder and it is now no longer safe for her to be living with him there. Brian and Jacob with Moving with Grace helped us move her out of the hoarder house and into her own apartment at an assisted living facility. The friend knew we were coming with movers at 0830 to move the furniture out. We rang the doorbell and there was no answer. It was so quiet, I thought the house was empty. So, we enter the house and they guys get right to work. Shortly after they had started wrapping up the furniture, the friend, walks out of the bathroom in a night dress!! So weird and creepy considering he knew we were coming. And very mortifying. The house itself is very filthy and disgusting. There is thick dust and clumps of cat hair everywhere!! Brian and Jacob were both very polite and friendly and pretended it was not disgusting. They were professional and worked diligently despite the filth. They wrapped everything up nicely and got everything loaded up quite quickly. Brian did a good job coordinating the estimate and logistics, which included getting his crew and truck from south Sacramento to the Bay Area early enough to get packed, back to Rocklin, set up furniture in the apartment and drop off the equivalent of 12 large boxes at a storage facility, all by 7 pm. To do this, he recommended adding a 3rd person to the crew, which ended up being essential for success. On the day of the move, the crew left promptly at 7 am. They communicated on arrival at 9:15 when they departed, but traffic issues pushed the arrival to 10:15. They overcame this with the additional crew member, and were loaded up by 12:30 and on their way back to Rocklin. We found NO damage to any of the items. The entire move was well organized, with a crew that was polite, and personable. We heartily recommend this company.

Every piece of furniture was meticulously wrapped and protected, and they treated both our old and new home with respect. They were friendly, personable, and worked efficiently all day. We had just installed brand new carpet in our new home, so we mentioned that to the head mover before they arrived. We weren't sure how shoe covers would work since the crew would constantly be going back and forth between the truck and the house. He reassured us that he would figure something out once they got there. When they arrived, he came up with a great solution: two movers stayed outside unloading from the truck while two movers remained inside the house receiving and placing everything. The two movers inside even asked if we preferred they wear shoe covers or simply remove their shoes and work in their socks. We told them socks were perfectly fine. I really appreciated that they asked instead of assuming, and I thought the coordination between the crew was genuinely impressive. It showed they were willing to adapt and find a solution that protected our new floors. What also stood out to me were the little things they didn't have to do. At one point, they saw me struggling to open our wardrobe boxes after they had been unloaded. Without me even asking, they came over, cut them open, and helped open them for me. It may seem like a small gesture, but it showed they genuinely cared about making the move easier for us. Those kinds of thoughtful acts don't go unnoticed. The only reason I'm mentioning the following is because I think it's constructive feedback. At the end of the move, the head mover (who seemed to be the supervisor) asked how I wanted to pay the tip--cash, Zelle, or another method. I was a little confused because earlier in the day we had already given the crew $200 and told them to use it for lunch. When I mentioned that, he explained that the $200 was for lunch, then showed me examples of what other customers had tipped. He also shared that most customers tip at least $800, or about $200 per mover. I completely understand that tips are an important part of their income, and I genuinely felt this crew deserved to be rewarded for the outstanding job they did. We ended up tipping the crew very generously because we truly appreciated their hard work. Afterward, the head mover was sincerely appreciative and thanked us, explaining how much they rely on tips and how much it helps them. I appreciated his gratitude. However, discussing specific tip amounts and comparing them to what other customers give made me feel pressured and put on the spot. Everyone's financial situation and budget are different. Some customers may be able to give more, while others may not, and that's okay. A tip is ultimately optional and should be appreciated regardless of the amount. I believe it's best to let customers decide what they feel is an appropriate gratuity without comparisons or suggested amounts. Aside from that one interaction, the service itself was outstanding. I would absolutely recommend this company and would use them again in the future.

I used this moving company for my 4 bedroom one story home and I moved 15 minutes away (8 miles). I…read morehired 3 movers and when they arrived, the main guy (Eric) convinced me to hire a 4th mover because it would help them finish sooner. He even tried to upcharge me for the 4th mover but luckily I saved the quote that Alex gave me. Well it took 11.5 hours (not including their lunch break) with 4 movers and they still didn't move everything. We just had to stop the time because it was getting so late. 3 of the guys were nice and they did most of the work, but Eric was a bit pushy and was always on his phone or going on a break. They took too many breaks (lasting 15-20 min each) and their lunch break was 2 hours. So they were off to a slow start in the morning. I really did not like that Eric tried to convince me to go to Home Depot to buy more moving boxes because they didn't have enough. As a moving company, you should have enough boxes. They were careful with my stuff, wrapping everything very carefully, but they were slow. They didn't clean anything up after they were done, left their cans, bottles, runner paper throughout the house. All in all, they were okay. Just really slow. This job should not have taken 11.5 hours
