It pains me to have to write this review. I was for the most part satisfied up until the point that I discovered my pool table was not put together the same way that it was taken apart. Stu said that he would rectify the situation then stopped responding. I sent one last text yesterday in hopes of resolving this matter which of course he did not respond to. From the day that we met there's been one excuse after the other. Late to take apart the table, car troubles so we had to use my vehicle to transport the table, not coming on a scheduled day due to more car troubles then letting me know last minute, to being late to work on the table multiple times. We decided to go with Stu's Pool Table Services after seeing all the great reviews, and this has definitely been the best decision we've made (next to getting a pool table, of course). We found the perfect Brunswick Gold Crown III from a seller out in Lincoln, and we needed it moved to our place in Sacramento within the week. We initially asked for a quote from someone else who wasn't going to be available during the week and balked at the idea that they had to move it to the second floor. They were NOT going to completely break down the table during transport too, and that made us nervous, so we contacted Stu instead. He responded quickly and didn't even react to the second floor part. He just gave us a quote, and a fair one at that. He's obviously seen and done it all.   We watched a lot of videos on how to move these tables beforehand to know what to expect (and to see if it's something we could do ourselves. That's a hard no. No one should attempt this. Hire a professional like Stu.) Moving day arrives, and Stu and his team get right to it, and boy did they work like fine-tuned machines. They got their tools ready, set up the place, and disassembled the table like they've been doing this their whole lives. They took their time but were so efficient in how they worked and were even walking us through the process. They really knew their stuff. They loaded their van and headed to our place. They handled the 3-piece slate, each weighing 200 lbs., up the stairs (yes, with a pivot) with no issues. We were also able to keep the Simonis 860 cloth, which saved us time and money. Stu pointed out a few things the previous installer did incorrectly, and he was able to fix those for us. Again, they took their time with installing it, but we were too fascinated with how they worked that it didn't even feel that long. They were so meticulous in ensuring the table placement was perfect, the cloth was stretched properly, the legs were leveled, and additional shims were applied between slabs to level out the surface. The table plays amazing and we're glad we can start practicing somewhere outside of a bar (with not the best table quality) or pool hall.   Stu takes pride in his work and told us that the installation had lifetime warranty, provided we don't move the table or have anyone else work on it. To start, I hope I don't ever have to move my billiard table again, or at least to the second floor. But, if I do, I'm calling STU. I had Stu, actually make two visits. One for the disassemble and one for the reassemble 3 months later. Stu was professional and he surely knows the business. He was fast and efficient with taken my table apart. Everything was organized and wrapped neatly for me to store. When it was time for me to reassemble, because of his organization and professionalism, everything went without a hitch.
