I had a really disappointing and unprofessional experience with this company. I called and was given a quote over the phone of $500-$750. to move my belongings out of a 2 bedroom apartment. This was right in line with what I had paid a different company a year ago, so I went ahead and booked my move for approximately a month out. On the day of the move, the owner and one other helper showed up 3 hours late. He stated he had been, "trying to be a nice guy," and fit another move in before mine. It was pouring rain that day and despite buying a plastic cover for my expensive mattress and making sure it was on and properly sealed before the movers even arrived, my mattress ended up soaking wet. When I asked what happened to my mattress, the owner looked at me and stated, "It's raining." I had other furniture with scratches and the floor in my house ended up scratched, as well. A second helper showed up for the unload. The owner proceeded to unload all my belongings off the truck leaving everything to sit in the pouring rain. His helpers were great, moving things as fast as they could and helping me dry things with towels, paper towels, whatever we could find. They apologized for the chaotic situation. At the end of the move, the owner ended up charging me over $1,000. - twice the original quote. He let me know how lucky I was that he wasn't charging me equipment fees etc. He also suggested I should be giving something "to his guys", which I was happy to do because they were great. I would not recommend this company, but if using I highly suggest getting the initial quote in writing. read more

I am posting this review for my sister who was defrauded and ripped off by this business. Here is her review: Dont ever hire A+ Movers in roseville, California!! They are actually F- movers. If I could leave ZERO STARS, I would. Anthony Marcus has proved to care only for himself, and not to stand behind his packing, and to dishonorably withhold a refund on our second move deposit, after causing thousands of dollars in damage the first time we used his "Services". We hired him to load our uhaul. We provided 20+ moving blankets, I confirmed time (8am) and date with him 6 days before, he confirmed a yes to that. Move day: 8 am comes and goes, I call him a little after 8, his response "oh i thought it was 9". He ended up showing up at 9:30. No apology was given, and this caused us to be much later on our interstate move, delaying our arrival by several hours. When we got to our destination, the other movers who unloaded our uhaul, started showing me damages on items they found, and wanted me to see before they unloaded so that I knew it was not them. I was out there with them the whole time, so i know they had nothing to do with it. Things we found: first off they only used 4 of the 20+ moving blankets. Most of the rest of the furniture was not covered at all and was wood on wood, nothing in between. Most of my furniture was pretty banged up with paint (some even down to wood worn in places) scratches, but the worst of it was our brand new couch had a fat gouge about 2", and our brand new fridge had multiple scratches and the top right door had its finish literally rubbed off. One item clearly has foot prints on it and was damaged because of it We told him about it, he still denied it. (See pics) When we approached Anthony about it, nothing but excuses and blame. Not once did he have any compassion, zero apologies, and zero accountability. We asked for his insurance info, he refused. We sent him pics, he blamed the drive and the other movers. He made zero attempt at wanting to help or fix anything. He has now ghosted us, and blocked us on Facebook from seeing his business page. Most likely he has blocked us from his phone too, since we havent heard back now. Steer clear of this shiester and don't let anyone you know get ripped off with his unethical practices. read more

Anthony and Brandon are the best movers I have ever used. They showed up on time and knew exactly what they were doing. Very professional and courteous. They were moving quite a few pieces of office furniture. The main desk was solid wood and weighed about 300 lbs. It measured 96" long about 42" wide. Anthony and Brandon carried it down 13 steps to a landing and then down another 7 steps to the bottom. They carried that desk like they were heading to their car with a bag of groceries. read more

If i could give 0 stars i would...we hired Anthony Marcus and his crew to load our uhaul. First they showed up an hour and a half late move day, no apology was given, just excuses. Then when we got to our destination, and started unloading....so much damage!! 90% of our items were not wrapped at all despite the 20+ moving blankets we provided (see pic of ones they never used) many items had scratches, rubbed off paint and some even rubbed to the bare wood and below. Our brand new fridge had un fixable damage. Most items were directly next to each other with no cushioning. When we approached him with this info including many pictures, he immediately blamed the drive and the other movers who unloaded (they were the ones to show me these things before they touched the items). Again, no apology. He refused to give us his insurance info to make a claim, and then went ahead and blocked us on his only media platform (Facebook) and stopped messaging us back. Completely unreliable, unprofessional, immature, and very obviously inexperienced. DO NOT HIRE THIS "company". Anthony marcus (also swarts on paypal). He also refused to refund us our $500 for a second move we were going to hire him for, but after this debacle, were werent going to give him another penny. We gave him 12 days notice to cancel. I was fortunate to come across A+ movers after calling numerous companies. It was by far the best experience I have had with a moving company in my life. From the first interaction with the owner Anthony I knew this guy was who I wanted to work with. Anthony was quick to give me his prices and his availability. He got me scheduled on the day I wanted. His communication was second to none. He constantly updated me in regard to what time he would arrive. If there was any change, he kept me posted. This is very rare; most guys would just show up late and keep you waiting around. Anthony kept me posted. Once he and his helper arrived, they didn't waste any time. Immediately started getting all the furniture ready to be moved. Wrapping everything so it didn't take any damage during the move. Anthony is a very friendly guy who is nice to speak with but also will go the extra mile. They were quick to get everything loaded up, there was no taking their time. When you're paying someone per hour some have a tendency to move a little slower. Not A+ movers. The move went flawless. Nothing was damaged at all and there was care in everything they moved. They also brought all the tools needed to facilitate the move. It was a great experience. I will absolutely use A+ movers again. I was impressed with how Anthony runs his business. This company was hired to help my family pack for their move to a different state. Initially they showed up 1.5 hours late, what a way to start. Then as they packed, they didn't use a single moving blanket nor wrapped any of the belongings to secure them. After the 22 hour drive to the final destination, we soon discovered that nearly all of the furniture had unfixable damage. Very unprofessional and very untrustworthy.
