Sports bar closed on NYE with college football semifinal games on? I don't get it. Three stars for nostalgia over the Coach's of yesterday.

Great atmosphere, but the service is a little bit slow. They should have more waitresses to accommodate all the people that they have and they should have more specials for steaks and stuff like that because not everybody can get there on the Wednesday or Thursday that they have it read more

Food is fantastic but they always close an hour and a half before the day they do. It's absurd that they even post their business hours as they do when they are consistently closing early read more

Best Wings in the AV! Great atmosphere for any sports fan. Delicious ice cold beer all the time with many options to choose from.

It's your typical sports bar. There are plenty of TV's with all kinds of sports games on. The service was prompt. We had wings and garlic Parmesan fries. We really liked the wings and the fries were fine, they were crinkle cut but I prefer the shoestring fries. I ordered a Cadillac margarita. Honestly it was fine overall but it's loud and just like any other sports bar I've been in. We'd probably come back if we had a game we wanted to see. read more

This place was recommended to us by a friend local to the area. 'They have the big beers!'... That they do. Traditional bar food and lots of it! Go for the wings and the bottlecaps! Great atmosphere for watching any game on the big screens. read more

Worst night EVER! Got here at 6:30 didn't get half our food till 10!! And we had to tell them. Ordered a dozen and a half wings and chili fries. They were charging us for two dozen and a half. Told the girl one dozen four times and told her we didn't get half of the order. Finally had to tell her we'll take it to go. Still only brought one dozen wing and regular fries. Still tried charging me for two dozen. We asked for the manager, Tanya, and she still was charging us for two dozen when we STILL didn't get it order. Then Tanya, the manager, said she wasn't charging us for a dozen wings and fries but still charged us for a dozen wings. Please get more help cause they said it was because they were under staffed. Seems more like they got a good hustle when you drink too much. Glad they pissed me off enough to sober up. Didn't even wanna give a star but Yelp won't let me post my remote without one. read more

One star because zero isn't an option. completely unprofessional staff, My wife and I tagged along with party of six and during our visit the server was non-existent, we waited for our food for close to an hour and thirty minutes and even while we waited our server did not come to check on us or to see if we needed any more drinks. once the food finally came our server did not return even to the point that someone had to go up to the front to ask for the tabs. I along with 4 of our party members paid our meals in FULL as anyone would but for some reason two other guests did not pay their tabs completely, this led to our server coming over and cuss us out and demand that we pay those unpaid tabs or the police would somehow arrest us. when we tried to explain that my wife and my tab was completely paid and that we do not have any connection to the two that did not pay as they were friends of other friends she expressed very verbally in an unprofessional demeanor that we were F*#ked up people. then we were threatened by the security along with the manager and once they realized that we already paid our tab and had no way of contacting the two that didn't we were then banned from ever returning even though we had no connection to those who did not pay. and as we were walking out we were verbally assaulted by both the manager and the security. read more

They have the best wings in town!! Always friendly and fast service. Highly recommended

Servers are AMAZING! That's all I can say about this place now, hence the 2 stars. Since they sold out, the corporate world took over, downhill from there. Charging $1.50 for a ranch is RIDICULOUS, on top of other things, food isn't as good, etc.. Used to be a regular, not anymore. Goodbye coaches! read more

They charge you for water down ranch dollar 1:50 each... they salsa they bring you is frozen... Fresh out of a can... Beer is lukewarm... And everybody wants to pretend like it's not a big thing... Well, it is a big thing dammit... I want my food fresh and I want ranch, ketchup, salsa, fresh... Fresh... Fresh... Fresh... Is there any harm in that? read more

Excellent food, excellent service. Marissa is absolutely gorgeous and congrats on the nursing school.

Coaches Is my go to spot for wings! I haven't tried anything else In the 20 years I have been going there except for appetizers. The fried zucchini is amazing and you get a hugeeee portion! The wings are always best served with an order of onion rings or fries! Always made fresh and the beer is always cold and in a frosty mug! My go to flavor is Korean Thai or the nice and classic lemon pepper! The fries are what you expect out of fries. Nicely cooked and seasoned well. There is usually a tough time getting a seat especially on game days. It's a nice vibe and I'd say family friendly. It's my choice over the main stream sports bars. I try to keep my business in the small business market. All in all an original location here in Lancaster with good food and good atmosphere! read more

I've came here several times! I got to meet the cook DJ was his name. He is the most friendly person with such a great personality. We came at rush hour on our lunch and kinda pushy but instead of him getting defensive he actually tried to make the best of the situation. You have to be a people person to work well with others. I work in customer service so I know good customer service when I see it! Give this man a raise. If not DJ send me a message lol I will be more then happy lol. Jk no I'm all honestly thank you DJ for making our visit one of a kind!!! read more

Love this place! My wife, her best friend and I generally go 4-5 times a year and it is usually a good expierence. Cold beer, great appetizers, and good wings! The only complaint I have is sometimes it's pretty crowded and hard to find a seat. Which I guess is typical with any place that has good service and food. We were going to Schooners a little more often recently, but when we went to Coach's the other night I was reminded that the beers are actually cheaper there. So I have a feeling we will start going to Coach's over Schooners a little more. read more

One of the best sports bars in Lancaster. Multiple big screen TV's, great food, very attractive waitresses, well stocked bar and an arcade area for the kids. They are known for the wings and they never disappoint! These meaty, buffalo wings may make you break a sweat. Sometimes I just pick up 2 dozen of these baby's and go home and stuff my face. No need for table manners like when you're out in public. They have all the stuff a great sports bar should have and then some. The menu is almost as great to look at as the food that's on it tastes. The burgers are to die for, a huge beer selection including microbrews and drafts, and they serve awesome strong mixed drinks. The staff is friendly, the place is clean- you can see the cooks at work - and the owners are super nice. read more

As I crisscross north America in search of a better chicken wing, I most often left disappointed and tonight is no exception. The best I can say about this region's best wings is maybe they didn't suck as bad as some.. But overall, yea they sucked. Six wings were ordered hot-garlic, that in itself created confusion as to how to get garlic on the wings. What showed up in front of me were six almost dry adolescent (very small) wings bathing in a soup of watered down sauce with way too much butter with chunks of garlic. How they accomplish the over-cooked outside yet semi raw on the inside remains a culinary mystery. I was able to stomach three of the six before my digestive system started to question the brain. Consumption had to stop. Next time you're in Lancaster California and the locals tell you Coach has the best wings, just tell them No They Don't! Staff was warm and beer was cold though! read more

All apps and meals $10-11. Please don't bring your infants it's too loud. A playoff hockey game was on the day we went in so very busy and very loud. We have been coming here 10+ years and it was our favorite go to until the past couple months. Service has gone down, food quality has taken a turn for the worse and it just seems Coaches is following suit with all the other nearby restaurants and going downhill. The Manager Sam is very non compassionate to your complaints and isn't on the customer side at all. She basically brushed our concerns under the carpet and didn't do anything to turn the negative around but hand us our bill and walked away. Needless to say this was our last visit and the breaking point because everything went wrong from the time we sat down til we left and everything in between. We weren't the only ones that were complaining so we knew it just wasn't us that wasn't satisfied with our dining experience. I hope this review makes you think twice before patronizing them and hopefully this review reaches a corporate level and goes above Sam's head so they know what's going on with their establishment and may want to consider hiring a manager with better management skills and experience before they lose more customers. read more

This place used to have thee BEST wings in the AV, but they have gone down hill for the last few years. The last time DH got these they were so over cooked the texture was like jerky. Tonight he decided to give them another try and there's hardly any sauce at all on them. They used to have delicious juicy saucy wings years ago, but they have gotten stingier and stingier with the wing sauce to where they don't have much flavor. So their prices have gone up and their quality has gone down. It's very unfortunate because the wings were the only good thing on their menu, everything else tastes like cafeteria food. I wouldn't be surprised if they close their doors in the next fer years. read more

I enjoy coming here with my bf. He always gets the wings extra crispy with the sauce on the side. The beer mugs are huge but always ice cold and refreshing. The portions are big as well, you can share with a group of people. My bf ordered the corned beef that was a special on their dinner menu one night and it was delicious! Good taste for being bar food. The waitresses are always friendly and efficient...or it could be because my bf and his friends are regulars here. You'll see several big flat screen t.v.'s all over the main walls, playing all the sports channels. Except they don't play Dodger games. Lost a star for that. read more

My favorite hot wings. I was craving their hot wings so I went to get some. They're truly the best in town

All i can say is wow. Have been a regular here since I was 13. Now i take my kids, friends, and family. I have people come all the way from Los Angeles for the wings. Ever since new owner took over this place is horrible. I miss the old servers they never messed up and always knew what we ordered. Went for lunch today and they took 1 hr 1/2 and still didn't bring our food. They were "short staffed" all the people there already had their food and when we spoke to the GM she was so upset and rude. Didn't try to make it better until we argued and tried to explain our side in regards to why we were upset. 45 minute lunch we've never had a problem ordering food and dining in but the last 3-4 times has been horrible. Sucks to see one of my favorite places go to crap. Gm said she'd give us a 10% discount. We just agreed to not get the food as some of it wasn't ready and some of it had been sitting for 15 minutes. Me and my coworkers go there 1-2 times per week. Not going back for a while. Cant believe how much this place has changed. read more

Okay service, it took us a while to be served & their wings were not the best, a little overcooked, & hardly any meat on the wings.

I love Coaches. I used to live next to the owner and I'm aware of the friendly service to expect there. The food is great and the servers are quick and efficient. We decided to get appetizers for our meal, which included buffalo cheesy fries, potato skins, onion rings and nachos with chicken. The nachos alone are plenty for a meal. They're delicious! I've had them numerous times and am never disappointed. The potato skins are tasty, particularly with their ranch dressing. The onion rings have to be my favorite new food that I would get again. They're not overly cooked, but just the right amount. They taste almost add if they're baked. Definitely a try at coaches! read more
