We brought in a big group on a Friday night. They were very accommodating to our large group and had two servers helping out. I ordered the blue burger and it was great. The fries were cooked perfectly. Everyone that had the burgers were very happy. The big highlight were the shakes. As you can see from the pictures, they are HUGE and equally yummy. The monthly special was the buckeye which had peanut butter, chocolate, Reese's cups and a cup covered in frosting & sprinkles. Definitely a great place to visit in the area. Kind of glad I don't have one nearby, or I would be in big trouble. And to the staff, thank you so much for taking care of our big group. You did an amazing job! read more

The pricing of the macaroni and cheese burger, at $17.99, which includes house-cut fries but incurs an additional $4.99 charge for sweet potato fry substitution, appears to be excessively high, particularly given the perceived lack of quality. The bun was served at an unacceptably cool temperature. Furthermore, the portion size was insufficient, as I remained hungry after consumption. We will not be returning to this establishment, primarily due to the exorbitant cost and the unsatisfactory cleanliness of the premises. The restrooms were notably unsanitary, and the entire facility is in need of a thorough cleaning. read more

I was really hesitant about coming here because the reviews on this website. However, I can't even explain how wonderful the staff was to me and my two young girls! Also, the food.. wow! Get anyyyy burger! read more

The bartender was nice. But over all the food and price was horrible! I could have went to a fast food restaurant and paid half the price and had better food! I'll never go back. I would give it zero stars if I could. read more

stay away.. went Saturday night 4/26, the restaurant wasn't very busy. We waited 30 mins for the waitress to come place our order. after waiting for the food. 20 mins later the waitress brought my mother her burger, but never brought mine. 3 times we asked where my burger was. The waitress just replied with an attitude that the kitchen was backed up. While customer's that came in after us where getting their orders. The waitress finally brought my burger 15mins later, after my mom had finished her burger. I asked the waitress for a box to take it home and she gave me an attitude like it was my fault. They did not give any type of discount or try to make the situation better. this is not how to properly run a restaurant read more

We ordered some pizzas and appetizers for the family last night for takeout. I appreciated that the order was ready on time and the staff was friendly while we paid. The food itself was pretty good. The cheese pizza was great, the potato and greens pizza was, different, but decent, and the white hot pizza was again, different, but decent. We also had fried pickles, fried onions, and soft pretzel bites. All pretty good, but probably would've tasted better in the restaurant without a 20 minute drive home. So I might skip those next time. Overall, we'd do takeout here again, especially for the cheese pizza. Even more likely, when we feel more comfortable, we'd sit down and eat here because the food is pretty good, the place was nice inside from what I cold see, and the staff was helpful. I was surprised that the pizzas were a bit bigger than I expected. I thought they were personal pizzas, which is why we ordered so many! So we'll have leftover pizza for dinner tonight too! read more

Their cheeseburger by far was 1 of the best that I've had in years! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, as it's a new restaurant/bar in the area! read more

We added this place to our regular rotation! Always outstanding food. Quality and quantity. I appreciate them offering gluten feee buns. Best fries in town. Also good service when dining in. read more

The burgers and fries were great. The waitress was nice and brought us condiments and napkins promptly when asked but we never saw her again until she brought the bill. We would have liked refills on our drinks The place gets noisy quickly when it fills up. Not cheap (about $15 for each burger including a generous helping of fries) but worth it. We'll be back. read more

Will never go back here again. Both kids order Mac and cheese. Wife order a burger and I ordered a flat bread. After 45 minutes and the waitress apologizing for the wait several times a table that came in 15 minutes after us started getting food, including my flatbread. After they told the waitress it wasn't theirs, they tried to bring it to me. read more

Has this place with the kids. They tried to charge me for drinks that come included in the kids meal. Mind you, the drinks are 4 bucks a piece. So an extra 8 bucks on the bill they tried to weasel me out of. They also charge for condiments??? The receipt says "extra" but if you don't get any to begin with how is it extra? Mediocre burgers for a crazy price. Won't ever return. 70 bucks for two burgers and a kids meal. Smh read more

This place reminded me a lot of a restaurant I really enjoyed when I lived in Arizona. The french fries reminded me especially of it so it felt nostalgic. Our server Brian was incredibly polite and friendly and did a great job. The burger and tater tots tasted extremely good as well. My only complaint was that there was a fly buzzing around our table that wouldn't go away. We will definitely be back! read more

We visited Coaches for lunch today as we knew they had patio seating. For anyone reading this in the future, we were about 3 weeks into restaurants reopening after COVID restrictions were lifted. There was one other table seated on the patio and there must have been a few folks inside given the number of cars. Our waiter was wearing his mask down under his nose which was disappointing to see but they were being diligent on wiping things down and maintaining distancing protocols. I had a mushroom burger, my husband had the Texas burger. Both burgers were great and so were my husband's fries. Mine on the other hand were pretty greasy so although I got a bigger portion than he did, his were better! A few more seconds in draining the oil and mine would have been great too! If you are looking for a nice outdoor spot for a burger, Coaches has you covered! read more

We gave this place several tries. And food was cold and not even a discount given. Fries were cold and hamburgers were cold as well. Server was okay, but doesn't seem to care about their business. read more

Just moved here and decided to give this a try since I see a lot of them in the Ohio area. A ton of fries but they were simply ok in my opinion. I got a burger and was told they were made well done (ok, perfect!) and when it came out there was still some pink. Asked for a couple of ranches (we are ranch fanatics) and the waitress forgot and didn't come back to check on us for 10 minutes because her conversation with the seater at the front door was more important. Finally got our 1 ranch after she said "oh I forgot." Overall -- food is "OK" (eatable but wouldn't be my first pick) and service is definitely 2/5. read more

food was good but the person who gave me the good (res hair and blonde higjlights) was very short, kinda had an attitude, and gave a very bad look. I like coaches but if this is the service I get for a takeout order, you need new staff because she was rude. read more

We FINALLY gets a service like GRUBHUB (much like the rest of the developed world) and this establishment cancels my order citing "we are too busy to fill this order". Grubhub emailed me 20 minutes later saying Coaches cancelled it. EXCELLENT. I WAS a customer of Coaches - emphasis on 'was' but never again. How lazy to turn down orders because you're "too busy" that is like telling people to leave because you can't be bothered. LAZY EMPLOYEES, terrible service. HORRIBLE. I called GRUBHUB customer service and they told me that this establishment called off the order, and dosent show signs for being a good candidate for future service when they cancel orders. Even the GRUBHUB representative was astounded at the laziness of this business. I almost didn't write this review but I wasn't too busy to do it. Once again, The laziness of our local businesses blows my mind. I will be too busy to give this business a penny more of my money. read more

Decent. In my opinion I find it to be a bit pricey for what it is, especially the alcohol. It's never all that packed, so it's ideal for people looking for a place to sit down, without wanting to be there for forever. Would visit again and would recommend to others. read more

We stopped at the Coaches in Poland, OH yesterday and since being on a low-carb diet, ordered two burgers without buns and no fries. The waitress suggested coleslaw, so; we got two tiny 4 oz burgers (the size of a small cookie), a tiny side of slaw, and two iced teas. It was good, nothing special; but... the bill was $43+; with tip - $50. This was a $20 meal; not $43. We have no problem paying a fair price but this is ridiculous. And to make matters worse, flies continually landed on us & our food. Sorry Coaches, we'll not return. read more

If you like a good milkshake, don't pass up Coaches. While the name suggests burgers, what goes better with burgers than their ultimate milkshakes?! They're so pretty I almost didn't want to eat mine and destroy the beautiful work of art the team lovingly created. This was the first time my wife and I had been to this Poland location. While we were trying to eat our food, there were flies. One had landed in my wife's food. We told the waitress about them and she said that it was probably because they have the back door open where they cook. She did remove my wife's meal off the bill. However, for a burger restaurant, was not impressed with the quality of my sandwich. read more

Took my son to Coach's Burger Bar for a different burger place. We ordered a fried onion appetizer. They were sliced extremely (paper?) thin and it was difficult to eat them, forget about dipping them in the sauce that came with them. I noticed that it said on the menu that they cook the burgers MW, so I asked our server if I could get cooked differently. Nope, can't do it! It came out cooked with a "crusty" exterior, and no hint of seasoning whatsoever. I do like my burgers to have flavor, and I like them to be juicy. Neither of which could be said of my burger. I think the burgers in a "burger bar" should be the feature item and the best they can produce. This is not a good impression in a crowded market, in a location like North Canton/Jackson Twp..... read more

Had the best experience at the Poland location!!!! Service was wonderful! The manager ( Gregg. As I remember) made sure we were all good.... everyone had a positive attitude and it was a busy Tuesday night and it was a great dining experience! We will definitely be coming back! Coaches Burger Bar - As you walk into Coaches entry way - Burgers Near Me - Poland, Ohio

First trip since the moved to Poland. My burger and fries were really good but my wife's chicken sandwich was really dry. But what was a real disappointment were the greens. When they were at 5 points the greens were the bomb. Now tonight just a mushy mess. I hope they improve. read more

I have ordered carryout from this location on three separate occasions. The first two times the order was incorrect. They left off toppings from the burger. I called to complain the first time because they left off my blue cheese which I paid an extra dollar to have on the burger, which might not be a big deal to some people but when you have your heart set on a burger with blue cheese and find no blue cheese on your burger, you get a little irritated. The second time they left off toppings, and since they were basically "free" with the burger, I didn't call to complain. The burger patty, on both occasions, was cooked on the medium-well to well-done side. I really wish that they would allow you to stipulate the doneness of the burger patty. Not everyone likes a well-done hockey puck. Some of us enjoy a nice slightly pink middle. The last time that I ordered carryout the burger was actually decent. I ordered the Peppercorn Burger and the patty was cooked medium-well, but wasn't dry or anything. It still retained some moisture. The toppings were plentiful and flavorful. The pepper wasn't overpowering and complimented the meat well. We also tried a Chicken and Greens sandwich. The chicken was cooked well and the greens were okay. Not enough garlic for our liking but not terrible either. I would like to give this place a higher rating, as it is locally owned and it is quite close to my house. My experience with the restaurant just hasn't warranted it though unfortunately. Also, I would avoid the Stacy S. review on here who reviewed the restaurant once and then updated the review two more times. All 5 star ratings, or course. If you google "Stacy S" and "Coaches Burger Bar", you will find some Vindicator articles that state that one of the owners is Stacy Sam. This might be a coincidence, but I don't think that it is. Just a fyi to those who visit restaurants based on real ratings and not ratings placed by owners. read more

Waitress took our drink order but never brought our drinks. Came back took our order and still no drinks! After waiting some more I flagged down a waitress and she brought our drinks. Never saw our waitress again. Other waitress brought out our order, requested hot fries when ordering, fries were room temp. and hard. Asked for hot fries, about ten minutes later she brought me my hot fries. We come here about once a week but lately service has really been poor! Sorry to say we will find some other place with better service! Have to add when we got there we were the only table in the place! read more

Best gutter I've had in a long time. Order was ready on time, and the service by Chloe was awesome. A little pricey.

Excellent dinner! Makenzie was extremely accommodating. He made sure the nine year old in our group felt just as important as the rest of us. He even gave her some of his order pad for her to draw on! Food was great and I am very stuffed!! :) read more

Buffalo Chicken dip was awesome burgers were great service was great- environment was fun.

I have never eaten here but I've lived near by for a while. So when I saw they had a gluten free bun, I decided to give it a try. Because not many places offer that and I am gluten free. Anyway the service was fine, nothing was wrong with the order. I'm just extremely disappointed. The fries were soggy and greasy. I'd rather a fast food fry. And the burger was burnt and dry with absolutely no flavor. Just burnt meat. And it wasn't just mine because my husbands was the same way. For a place promoting mainly burgers, you'd be better off going to Burger King. read more

Good was absolutely horrible and cold. We were told we could only have 1 appetizer because they had only one fryer working, and the service was horrible as well read more

Clean place, nice people, but I'd go elsewhere. The apps were pretzels and cheese and you can tell the cheese was like the reheated plastic cheese from wal-mart. The burgers took about 25 minutes after the apps were delivered. Burger was Ok, nothing special especially for the price. Just go to Applebee's and save your time and money. If you want a specialty burger, go to a place like Burgatory. read more

Terrible burger joint for having the name burger in their title. The patty had almost no juice in it, was never asked how I wanted mt burger cooked. Asked for the fries to be extra crispy and they were cold- I was waiting for my takeout inside, not like I showed up late which would be understandable. Nobody had a mask on, the person who checked me out came from the kitchen and had a mask over his mouth but not nose. Hard to recommend this over fast food given the price. read more

Good afternoon everyone, today I went to "coaches burger bar" with my good friends. The crew was me, uncle truck, Pauly "the drunk", Rodney and an absolute smoke show. So I was already feeling myself a bit and my girlfriend was out of town, so where else would I be? Side note, I went to coaches the night before and made a damn fool out of myself. We got the hot chips appetizer and I was fooling around with the waitress and claimed " these are so hot I need some milk." However, they were just warm in temperature, not spice Fuck! Anyways, we got the nachos to start off this rodeo at coaches. I was already a little bit horny so I decided to get the "krabby patty". For some weird reason I was already on edge and felt like I was on MTVs pranked, but I don't know why. Next thing I know shit gets crazy and I spilled my nachos on my shorts and the girl chuckled as I picked pulled pork off of my groin region. How embarrassing! So after that, I am informed that apparently there was a fire in the damn kitchen. As this is happening, a pissed off old couple is eating their food in the rain, like what? I started to feel woozy as the waitress says they can't fulfill our order. So now my shorts look like shit and I can't get a krabby patty. Too make matters worse, they offer 2 free 12 inch pizzas on the house. I was so hungover that I just couldn't fathom that, even though, it was very nice. So me and the crew got up too go to Quaker steak and lube. On the way we listened to " I like it" by Enrique Iglesias to make us feel better. I must say the wings were pretty good but I was too distracted by a girl sitting at the bar. Have a good rest of your day and god bless. read more
