We brought in a big group on a Friday night. They were very accommodating to our large group and had two servers helping out. I ordered the blue burger and it was great. The fries were cooked perfectly. Everyone that had the burgers were very happy. The big highlight were the shakes. As you can see from the pictures, they are HUGE and equally yummy. The monthly special was the buckeye which had peanut butter, chocolate, Reese's cups and a cup covered in frosting & sprinkles. Definitely a great place to visit in the area. stay away.. went Saturday night 4/26, the restaurant wasn't very busy. We waited 30 mins for the waitress to come place our order. after waiting for the food. 20 mins later the waitress brought my mother her burger, but never brought mine. 3 times we asked where my burger was. The waitress just replied with an attitude that the kitchen was backed up. While customer's that came in after us where getting their orders. The waitress finally brought my burger 15mins later, after my mom had finished her burger. I asked the waitress for a box to take it home and she gave me an attitude like it was my fault. We ordered some pizzas and appetizers for the family last night for takeout. I appreciated that the order was ready on time and the staff was friendly while we paid. The food itself was pretty good. The cheese pizza was great, the potato and greens pizza was, different, but decent, and the white hot pizza was again, different, but decent. We also had fried pickles, fried onions, and soft pretzel bites. All pretty good, but probably would've tasted better in the restaurant without a 20 minute drive home. So I might skip those next time. Overall, we'd do takeout here again, especially for the cheese pizza. Even more likely, when we feel more comfortable, we'd sit down and eat here because the food is pretty good, the place was nice inside from what I cold see, and the staff was helpful. I was surprised that the pizzas were a bit bigger than I expected. I thought they were personal pizzas, which is why we ordered so many! The burgers and fries were great. The waitress was nice and brought us condiments and napkins promptly when asked but we never saw her again until she brought the bill. We would have liked refills on our drinks The place gets noisy quickly when it fills up. Not cheap (about $15 for each burger including a generous helping of fries) but worth it. After 45 minutes and the waitress apologizing for the wait several times a table that came in 15 minutes after us started getting food, including my flatbread. Has this place with the kids. They tried to charge me for drinks that come included in the kids meal. Mind you, the drinks are 4 bucks a piece. This place reminded me a lot of a restaurant I really enjoyed when I lived in Arizona. The french fries reminded me especially of it so it felt nostalgic. Our server Brian was incredibly polite and friendly and did a great job. The burger and tater tots tasted extremely good as well. We visited Coaches for lunch today as we knew they had patio seating. For anyone reading this in the future, we were about 3 weeks into restaurants reopening after COVID restrictions were lifted. There was one other table seated on the patio and there must have been a few folks inside given the number of cars. Our waiter was wearing his mask down under his nose which was disappointing to see but they were being diligent on wiping things down and maintaining distancing protocols. I had a mushroom burger, my husband had the Texas burger. Both burgers were great and so were my husband's fries. Mine on the other hand were pretty greasy so although I got a bigger portion than he did, his were better! A few more seconds in draining the oil and mine would have been great too! Just moved here and decided to give this a try since I see a lot of them in the Ohio area. A ton of fries but they were simply ok in my opinion. I got a burger and was told they were made well done (ok, perfect!) and when it came out there was still some pink. Asked for a couple of ranches (we are ranch fanatics) and the waitress forgot and didn't come back to check on us for 10 minutes because her conversation with the seater at the front door was more important. We FINALLY gets a service like GRUBHUB (much like the rest of the developed world) and this establishment cancels my order citing "we are too busy to fill this order". How lazy to turn down orders because you're "too busy" that is like telling people to leave because you can't be bothered. LAZY EMPLOYEES, terrible service. HORRIBLE. I called GRUBHUB customer service and they told me that this establishment called off the order, and dosent show signs for being a good candidate for future service when they cancel orders. We stopped at the Coaches in Poland, OH yesterday and since being on a low-carb diet, ordered two burgers without buns and no fries. The waitress suggested coleslaw, so; we got two tiny 4 oz burgers (the size of a small cookie), a tiny side of slaw, and two iced teas. It was good, nothing special; but... the bill was $43+; with tip - $50. This was a $20 meal; not $43. We have no problem paying a fair price but this is ridiculous. This was the first time my wife and I had been to this Poland location. While we were trying to eat our food, there were flies. One had landed in my wife's food. We told the waitress about them and she said that it was probably because they have the back door open where they cook. She did remove my wife's meal off the bill. Took my son to Coach's Burger Bar for a different burger place. We ordered a fried onion appetizer. They were sliced extremely (paper?) thin and it was difficult to eat them, forget about dipping them in the sauce that came with them. I noticed that it said on the menu that they cook the burgers MW, so I asked our server if I could get cooked differently. Nope, can't do it! It came out cooked with a "crusty" exterior, and no hint of seasoning whatsoever. I do like my burgers to have flavor, and I like them to be juicy. Neither of which could be said of my burger. I think the burgers in a "burger bar" should be the feature item and the best they can produce. Waitress took our drink order but never brought our drinks. Came back took our order and still no drinks! After waiting some more I flagged down a waitress and she brought our drinks. I have ordered carryout from this location on three separate occasions. The first two times the order was incorrect. They left off toppings from the burger. I called to complain the first time because they left off my blue cheese which I paid an extra dollar to have on the burger, which might not be a big deal to some people but when you have your heart set on a burger with blue cheese and find no blue cheese on your burger, you get a little irritated. The second time they left off toppings, and since they were basically "free" with the burger, I didn't call to complain. The burger patty, on both occasions, was cooked on the medium-well to well-done side. I really wish that they would allow you to stipulate the doneness of the burger patty. Not everyone likes a well-done hockey puck. Some of us enjoy a nice slightly pink middle. The last time that I ordered carryout the burger was actually decent. I ordered the Peppercorn Burger and the patty was cooked medium-well, but wasn't dry or anything. It still retained some moisture. The toppings were plentiful and flavorful. The pepper wasn't overpowering and complimented the meat well. We also tried a Chicken and Greens sandwich. The chicken was cooked well and the greens were okay. Not enough garlic for our liking but not terrible either. I would like to give this place a higher rating, as it is locally owned and it is quite close to my house. My experience with the restaurant just hasn't warranted it though unfortunately. Also, I would avoid the Stacy S. review on here who reviewed the restaurant once and then updated the review two more times. All 5 star ratings, or course. If you google "Stacy S" and "Coaches Burger Bar", you will find some Vindicator articles that state that one of the owners is Stacy Sam. This might be a coincidence, but I don't think that it is. I have never eaten here but I've lived near by for a while. So when I saw they had a gluten free bun, I decided to give it a try. Because not many places offer that and I am gluten free. Anyway the service was fine, nothing was wrong with the order. I'm just extremely disappointed. The fries were soggy and greasy. I'd rather a fast food fry. And the burger was burnt and dry with absolutely no flavor. Just burnt meat. And it wasn't just mine because my husbands was the same way. Good afternoon everyone, today I went to "coaches burger bar" with my good friends. The crew was me, uncle truck, Pauly "the drunk", Rodney and an absolute smoke show. So I was already feeling myself a bit and my girlfriend was out of town, so where else would I be? Side note, I went to coaches the night before and made a damn fool out of myself. We got the hot chips appetizer and I was fooling around with the waitress and claimed " these are so hot I need some milk." However, they were just warm in temperature, not spice Fuck! Anyways, we got the nachos to start off this rodeo at coaches. I was already a little bit horny so I decided to get the "krabby patty". For some weird reason I was already on edge and felt like I was on MTVs pranked, but I don't know why. Next thing I know shit gets crazy and I spilled my nachos on my shorts and the girl chuckled as I picked pulled pork off of my groin region. How embarrassing! So after that, I am informed that apparently there was a fire in the damn kitchen. As this is happening, a pissed off old couple is eating their food in the rain, like what? I started to feel woozy as the waitress says they can't fulfill our order. So now my shorts look like shit and I can't get a krabby patty. Too make matters worse, they offer 2 free 12 inch pizzas on the house. I was so hungover that I just couldn't fathom that, even though, it was very nice. So me and the crew got up too go to Quaker steak and lube. On the way we listened to " I like it" by Enrique Iglesias to make us feel better. My husband got a bacon cheese burger and I got the same only with pepper jack cheese. Wait time really wasn't long. Great size for burgers and a ton of fries.
