It was taco Tuesday so I ordered wings. They came out quickly and I had them fried. Got moody flavor and bacon jam. Both were good.

Exceptional atmosphere for a very casual laid back look. VERY clean, lit beautifully, and well maintained on all levels. The beer and drink choices are very plentiful and delicious. We sat at the bar and the set up is GREAT... very unique footprint for a bar. The service was beyond Exceptional!! Our bartender Bobby was perhaps one of the BEST in the service world....seriously. He was friendly, incredibly attentive, efficient, talkative and full of personality. Everyone who can experience Pour House should absolutely do so. And, it should be mentioned, there are a plentiful amount of TVs EVERYWHERE so you can easily watch ANY game you desire! In my case, Go BIRDS!!! read more

we have been going to pour house in poland for years since 2016 we love the food the wings are grilled and fantastic ! we went last evening 02/22/2026 it was dead they changed the menu the prices are much higher! and they took egg roll of the day off menu . our bill was 87 dollars my burger was so over cooked and not medium . and the french fries were burnt if i am paying steak house prices at a bar my food better be on point. we will not be back . greed gets you no where . stop tring to be risers you have the same exact menu . and get a better cook because yours sucks ! read more

Should be rebranded "the poor house". Service was bad, the waitress showed no urgency to take our orders or bring our food or checks to us when we finished. She made several stops at the break table to talk to her peers while we were waiting to order. My steak was dry and about as thin as a pancake. My fries were cold. We found this place on a Google search and it was a great find. I Iove the atmosphere/decor and it's spacious with large tables. We had the french onion steak sandwich and fiery chicken salad. Both were very good. We'll be back when in the area. read more

After two years of saying, "we should try the Pour House", we finally did. We have been there twice and both times were really good. First visit I had a burger and my husband had the lamb pita. Second visit I got fried bologna that was awesome! Service was great the first time, a little spotty on the second as we were sitting at the bar and there seemed to be some confusion over who was waiting on whom but we got our food quickly and didn't really need much of anything else! Came in on a slow Sunday afternoon (I know, day drinking, don't judge!). The chargrilled wings were delish. We shared hot garlic and garllic parm. Both were tasty, well cooked, and smokey. Great food at a reasonable price. Good service. Several longtime employees. Nice option of high top tables, low top, bar, and outside patio seating. In my opinion they have one of the absolute best hot peppers in oil recipes in the area. We get an order every time we go, and often a couple orders to go. Good Beer with POOR service. My wife & I stopped in for a beer or two after a round of golf. We ordered a pitcher of Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. The bartender poured the pitcher and said we would have to wait till the foam settled down which typically would be 5 minutes max. The bartender said we could sit outside on the patio and he would bring the pitcher out to us when was ready. Well, 20 minutes later we still did not have our beer, and when I went back in after it, a pitcher holding 4 glasses of beer cost $21.64!! I am writing this review in response to my dining experience on November 21st, 2018 at approximately 6:30PM - 8:00PM at the Poland Pour House location. Friends, family, and I have been gathering at this location after work on Wednesday to take part in "Wing Night" for the last few years to catch up on each other's lives and enjoy the wings. This location is pretty close for everyone so it has made a good meeting point. However before I detail my specific visit, I would like to state some of the positive aspects from the last few years: * Some of the best wings in the area. Char-grilled makes the difference. * Waiters and Waitresses on average have always been helpful, accommodating, and provided a good level of service. Our party is generally between 4-10 people, so we are understanding with lead times and order mix-ups. * Atmosphere is generally pretty good, close to home, and a nice variety of beer on tap Unfortunately, the visit that I noted above did not go like the other positive experiences that we have had in the past. Much like we do every week, (9) of us met at Pour House at 6:30PM, which is more than usual but folks were home for Thanksgiving weekend. The hostess kindly secured us a table shortly after we arrived, even though we had a large party. From this point, we all ordered wings with the exception of one individual who ordered a taco salad, as well as drinks. After some time, our orders were brought out by our waitress and Kristy Berndt, Owner and Manager. Since each individual ordered wings, the waitress and Mrs. Berndt shouted out the number and flavor of wings to which each person responded as they heard their order. However after all but one order of wings had been distributed, Mrs. Berndt, visibly irritated, began to shout at the 8 individuals and myself asking who had placed the order. Please keep in mind that at this hour the restaurant/bar was quite full so it was difficult to hear. When none of us responded, as the flavor & count of wings did not match any of our orders, Mrs. Berndt became more agitated and yelled the following, paraphrased below: * "Every time this group comes in there is a problem ! How don't you know what you ordered?!" When one of my friends tried to respond that the order was incorrect and attempted to ask what the past problems were, Mrs. Berndt elevated her voice further restating the above and adding: * "Every time you come in, you tip like shit !" At this point, Mrs. Berndt proceeded to storm off to the kitchen leaving my group confused and shocked that the owner of the business had just berated a large group of customers, making a scene not only for us but for most of the rear of the restaurant. For some history, my group has only had one small problem (Waiter forgot an order for an hour and half; order was made right no issue or grudges held) in the last few years that we have been dining at Pour House. Since wings are on special on Wednesday, our bills are generally not more than $15.00 a person however every person tips 20% or more. In addition to this, Pour House automatically places a gratuity on parties of 8 or more, so if you pay by card (which most do) there is no option to increase the amount left as a tip. Perhaps where the "shit" tips comment was derived from. Shortly after the incident, the parent of some of the group joined us. After hearing about the incident, he made an attempt to talk with Mrs. Brendt, since he was an acquaintance. She quickly began to tell him the same comments from above, while visibly mocking the group and myself, in both speech and hand motions. From this point, one individual made an attempt to ask her why she the owner was treating long term customers this way and she stated the following: * " I am the owner. If you are so unhappy, why do you come here?" After this point, she proceeded to avoid the members of my party. While we considered leaving, we found this unfair to the waitress whom had done nothing wrong. So we requested checks, paid (With an acceptable tip), and we left. So what we have taken away from this experience is the following: * Good food, good staff, and good atmosphere * Unfortunately, management can become unprofessional if provoked by confusion or an immediate lack of response As a business owner, you need to put your emotions to the way side for the best interest of the business. While I understand that customers can be aggravating at times, making the best of it is necessary. A business' image is built in spoonfuls and can be quickly taken in buckets. If this event had occurred with a waitress/waiter, I would have been more understanding. The fact that the owner of the establishment was willing to risk the image of her business over a relatively small incident, speaks volumes to her character. Especially, since no apology was offered to any of my party. While the food is good, food is good at other dining establishments without the risk of being verbally attacked and mocked with friends. read more

Atmosphere was ok, service was slow and very weak. It was our first visit so we relied on the menu and its description to order our meals. When the food arrived it was nothing like depicted. We tried to muddle through our mediocre meal, but when I applied the salad dressing that was called Italian, it was just an oily mess. We alerted the waitress that promised to talk to the manager. After a few minutes the waitress returned and indicated the manager said he or she could do anything for us, nor did the manager ever come to our table to talk to us. This is the second pour house location I've been to. I was impressed by the size of the poland location. They have a large bar area and there's a nicely sized patio with plenty of outdoor seating. The menu has a variety of options. Some are what you'd expect with typical bar food options and others are unexpected. The burgers are meatball burgers. Seasoned like a meatball but shaped into a hamburger patty. Great flavor. The salad options are great and the portions are large. Definitely worth stopping at this location! read more

My father and I went here for my birthday lunch. I had been to the location in Canfield twice. My father here for the first time loved it, and so did I. The server was adequate but the food was hot fresh and priced well. We both got the giant sausage and fries. It was spicy but not over the top, and the fries were fresh and seasoned well. Simply garbage! You can really tell that no one likes working there and that they hate tips, because they're absolutely miserable. A friend and I went there with the intention of hanging out for a while, but after having the beer menu literally thrown at us by the miserable older lady tending bar and then being ignored the entire time, my friend and I had about enough of this crappy place. Try the pour house lamb pita. It's hard to find on the menu but was told it was a top selling sandwich. It was EXCELLENT.
