Part 2 of my review~. Stopped in last Friday for dinner. Prime rib was fabulous BUT... ***** Bad Table Manners **** One thing we witnessed though that I disagree with. ~. I am all in favor of any restaurant being pet friendly. Inside or outside patio areas. I also believe having a "Service support" animal by your side is a good thing. BUT....... having a dog sitting inside a restaurant, at the table, ON THE BOOTH CUSHION, is wrong. Whether it's your favorite pet or a Service Animal, pets should be trained to sit under the table, or at least on the floor, while you eat in public. Restaurants should require and adopt that policy. For MANY, MANY reasons, I'd sure want that table & booth to completely cleaned. Overall,...... food and Staff are great. Highly recommended!!! read more

Save your money, this place has gone too down hill. Had such a bad time here last week. It was dinner time so I want to be understanding but it was impressively bad. Ordered cocktails and 20 minutes later got water. Ordered quac that the manager Angela brought out 40 minutes after we ordered it. It was brown so I asked for one that hadn't been sitting out and when she brought it back she had just scraped the brown off. Like they're pretty overpriced anyway and we waited quite awhile for it, the solution shouldn't have been to give us even less than we ordered. Same thing when my burger got delivered. Brown quac and my broccoli was dry and had burn marks all over it like it was broiled. I just dealt with it but our server apologized for how it looked when he delivered it, why would you deliver it if it looked that bad? Our server was nice but definitely played a role in how bad the experience was. I had a Togo burger that I canceled because of the wait for dinner and he brought it out anyway and the fries weren't in a container. Literal plastic bag with a box inside and fries put on top, it was the weirdest thing. And the burger was well done and I ordered it rare. 30% of the food I bought was consumed about 10% was good. I asked to cash out right when our food got there to avoid a wait and he didn't bring the check until 30 minutes after my Togo food arrived. He stood at the table behind us talking about SpongeBob SquarePants the entire time we waited for the check. We paid and he came and took our slips so he could start closing-it was the first time all night he showed any sense of urgency. This place was always oversitting servers and hurting peoples experience but this was truly awful service. read more

We were told our twenty-minute wait for a table was significantly delayed because of short staffed waiter/waitress. Maybe the waitress needs to stop flirting with the male at the host/hostess station. As for the review of the dog sitting on a booth chair, service animals do not sit at the table, they sit under the table. Service animals are not fed at the table; they are fed at home. The booth has to be sanitized as a result. Management should have ask the dog to be removed from the restaurant since the dog is obviously not a service animal. I should have read the reviews before entering this establishment. I would not have entered. The dog is a clear indication that this restaurant is not safety and sanitation compliant, and the health scores indicate this, and it is disgusting: Standard not met: Time/temperature controlled for safety food - cold holding, Sewage and Other Liquid Waste: Conveying sewage, Backflow prevention - air gap, Cleanliness of nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment, Maintaining refuse areas and enclosures, Nonfood-contact surfaces - cleaning frequency. First time visiting one of these restaurants. Sind they carry their own craft beer, that was first on the agenda to try. Tried the Pilsner, Hefeweizen, Pale Ale, IPA, and their double IPA. The only beer that was halfway decent was the wheat beer. The other beers were nothing to write home about. They definitely need to get a brewmaster to dial in the IPA's and they will have a winner. The food, on the other hand, was really good. Had the root beer glazed boneless wings. Didn't really taste the root beer, but they were sweet and flavorful. The side of Sriracha Brussels sprouts were a home run. Perfectly cooked and just enough heat to satisfy. Service was fantastic. I'd come here again, but would probably drink the guest beers. This has always been our favorite restaurant ever since they first opened in Boardman and we started coming here! We hadn't been here in a few years due to our health conditions preventing us from getting out and about and we actually moved away for a year. Now that we're back in the area, we've been able to come here again and it's been a wonderful experience just like in the past! Why we love this place so much: amazing customer service, wide variety of choices on the menu including healthier options, fair prices, amazing rewards program, high quality of food (you wouldn't even know this is a chain restaurant), and a unique atmosphere that's very fun and relaxing. We like stopping here for drinks and apps. The flights of beers or mojitos are fun to be able to try multiple drinks. They have a big selection of beers their own and other domestics, ipas, imports! The service is usually fast and it's nice in the summer to sit on the patio and enjoy some chips and guac while having a cold beer! I never do this but I had to. I'm a server and a bartender and I just worked and got off and wanted to grab a drink and some food quickly. It was Easter I haven't ate all day, and it was my anniversary with my significant other. We wanted to end the day on a good note. We talked in around 9:45pm we were greeted halfway by the host who looked miserable to be there she puts the menus down on the table and we are in the section that was completely empty in the middle of the restaurant, there was many people in the bar area booths so we decided to wait until our server got there then we politely asked to be seated up there with everyone else we felt uncomfortable away in the middle of an empty dining room. The server rolled her guys and said just take your menus up there pick a seat. So we grab our menus and walk up there. We sit for 10 mins and she comes up. Doesn't introduce herself or nothing she said something to drink. I wanted a drink it was our anniversary so I ordered a strawberry lemon drop. She asked for my ID, I had no problem giving it to her she said are you sure you're 21 with an attitude. I said "yes I'm 23" then she gives me attitude and says "I'll get fired if I don't ask do you guys want apps" in a snarky way so I said yes we do plan on doing apps. Then she stomps back up and said she can't make my drink. It was like we were an inconvenience. My boyfriend is black and I could sense some racist behavior like she couldn't be bothered. I saw the manager sitting at a table eating so I decided to walk up to him and politely said to cancel our food. I called and explained the situation and he couldn't be bothered. HAPPY EASTER. I will never go to a restaurant that treats guests like an inconvenience and I will NEVER tolerate racist behavior uncalled for. She was pregnant, had brown hair and she was alittle older. My wife and I split BJ's classic crispy chicken sandwich. It wasn't bad at all, but it wasn't anything to write home about. We've been to this BJ's location multiple times exclusively for pizza. We ordered a plain cheese pizza today and it's different (not in a good way) than what we anticipate a BJ's pizza to be. The pizza was hot and fresh & our waitress was great. The pizza is thinner, different crust & tasted generic. It definitely wouldn't be considered a deep dish. Before BJ's expanded across the country, it was based in Huntington Beach, CA, where I lived between 2004-2009. During that period, I went to BJ's all the time. I reluctantly moved back to NE Ohio 8 years ago, and I couldn't be more happy that my wait to get back to BJ's is now over. Everything I have had here as been very good to excellent, including the food and their own beers, and house-made sodas. But the star of BJ's is definitely their Pizookie. I have tried all varieties at least once, and my absolute favorite is the S'mores, because it has chocolate cookie base, melted peanut butter, and toasted marshmallows. It's heaven. The service ha also been above average. And one of the times I've been here, the service was outstanding. My waitress was friendly, attentive, and funny too. I won't mention her entire name here, but her first name starts with an "A." She's one of the best servers I've ever been waited on by. Seriously, wonderful job A! If you have a gluten issue this is your place. They do have a larger variety than most places. However I was not impressed but the food. I can. It eat spicy due to stomach issues. We order the root beer ribs for an appetizer and they were spicy ! Burning my lips from eating them. My husband likes spicy and he liked them but agreed they had spice to them. I order the Philly cheesesteak again it was spicy. I don't mind a place seeing spicy food but tell people if it's spicy ! Some don't like spice and some just can't eat it. Even have the words slight kick or something to make people aware. Didn't think ribs and Philly cheese steak were things I needed to worry about ordering. I don't think I will go back.
