First attempt was when I called to ask how much to fix my older Imac . They basically said they didn't want to do it, that it wasn't worth it.... to them. For a business, I found that weird since customers are the ones paying for a service. I said, ok no problem. Still felt weird about it, but no big deal. There are other iMac repair places available that apparently like business. Then my wife's iPhone X needed a screen repair. I called ahead and specifically asked them for a price and was told $119 by someone named Juvencio. No other comments were made to me, no other questions. My wife takes the phone in later in the day and upon pick up is charged $151. She then tells me that she was not happy with the aftermarket super thick screen, and the colored variation of the glass. She lets whoever handed the phone over know, and then they tell her thats how it is and that original is $300+ . This was never mentioned upon dropping off before the service. THEN she gets the bill for $151. They're assumption that we wouldn't pay for an original glass makes me wonder again about their business practices. So we paid, a service was performed, and rightfully so the bill was paid. Im glad this happened to us because I USED to recommend this place to friends without having actually been a customer, but long time Ridgewood resident. Unfortunately once I needed work to be done, it wasnt as good as I had hoped for. Be aware that there are tons of PC and Mac places around, dont find the location a reason to be lazy to get a proper fix with ethical practices.

The first was replacement of a cracked screen for my daughter's Samsung Galaxy phone. Took a couple of hours and the price was right. No problems with the phone afterwards. The quoted was the price we paid. This week, I walked in to see if Power Button stocked replacement batteries for the Google Pixel 2, the phone I've been using for the past two years. The battery needed to be ordered, so I paid a $10 deposit and agreed to come back in three or four days for the repair. Once the battery arrived, the fix took about two or three hours, and cost $60, parts and labor. The two brothers who run this shop are hard workers and very customer oriented. The store is open Saturday evenings until 8. Closed on Sundays.

The person behind the counter (the owner) said that he could order a screen today and have it done by tomorrow, around 1:30pm. I asked him how he knew it would be done by 1:30 tomorrow if the parts still had to be delivered and he answered that it was a regular delivery service so he knew how they worked. I left my phone with him and told him to just email me when he was done so I could pick it up tomorrow afternoon. The next day he emails me one sentence saying that the parts would not be delivered until Monday. At this point, I'm annoyed I wasted a day when I specifically inquired about the delivery times, and could have gone somewhere else to get this taken care of, on Friday. I went back to the store to just pick up my phone so I could find a quicker solution. When I arrive he has my phone in front of him, taken apart. I told him I couldnt wait until Monday so I just wanted my phone back. He tells me that there's no other place that can get it faster anyway (lie), I tell him it doesn't matter, because I already wasted a day after he had lied about the timeframe and now I just wanted my broken phone back. He then asks me if I want him to put the separate parts of my phone in a bag, and I told him I wanted my phone back the way I handed it to him yesterday. He tells me this is *impossible* because he already took off the screen and it has *shattered* and it *is in the garbage*. I'm already annoyed by the fact that he lied about the service he was promising, and now he had created a brand new problem. I'm not sure if he thought this move would make me just throw my hands up and be like oh, okay, well I guess I'll stick with you, and just happily wait an additional two days for a screen replacement?! He then (finally) offered to source the parts locally for *more money* - but only after what started to become an unnecessarily hostile exchange where he reminded me I was "lucky" he was trying to help me at all due to my "attitude." ...my attitude being complete shock that he took it upon himself to further destroy my phone? I explained that while I came here with one problem (a screen that didn't work) he had created this new problem for me, and was refusing to admit that he did the wrong thing. I told him i just wanted what was left of my phone in a bag and that I regretted ever trying to support his business, to which he responded with "that's fine, I dont need your support, I have plenty of support."  I'm really not sure how places like this stay open and I told him that, also pointed out his complete lack of customer service skills to which he said "i dont give a shit about customer servicing you."
