For the first time ever, I dropped my iPad glass side down on the hard ceramic floor. It cracked, but it was still working. I stopped by the store, and spoke to the guy there, and he told me he could replace it, has the part in stock, and that it would take approx 2 hours. Later that same day he called and for $75. Second successful experience with this locally owned business in the middle of the 37th Avenue shopping district in Jackson Heights. The first was replacement of a cracked screen for my daughter's Samsung Galaxy phone. Took a couple of hours and the price was right. No problems with the phone afterwards. The quoted was the price we paid. This week, I walked in to see if Power Button stocked replacement batteries for the Google Pixel 2, the phone I've been using for the past two years. The battery needed to be ordered, so I paid a $10 deposit and agreed to come back in three or four days for the repair. Once the battery arrived, the fix took about two or three hours, and cost $60, parts and labor. The two brothers who run this shop are hard workers and very customer oriented. The store is open Saturday evenings until 8. Closed on Sundays. read more

My iPhone 6s screen was smashed so I came here to get it repaired. I was pleased with the service but not so much with the cost. The original screen for the 6s costs $120. I think they charge less in the Apple Store but i was willing to pay extra since this shop is a few blocks away from my home. Wait time was an hour and a half, which is reasonable for a busy Saturday afternoon. All in all a good experience. The home button feels a little funny but works perfectly. read more

Called 8 different spots to repair my iPad Air 2 screen and each one of them wanted to charge me between $200-250 to get it fixed. I called this place and the lady said $70. I went there and it turns out that my screen was not damaged, it was the cover of the screen. The lady calls me back and says it's going to cost you $20 instead of the $70. So I had no idea about that issue since I'm not an expert. They could've easily kept their mouth shut and charged me the original $70. But no they called me back to tell me that it would be only $20 to get it fixed. If you want an honest business with professional service, very fair pricing and most importantly honesty, which is very difficult to find nowadays I would recommend this place. I'm urging everyone to check out this place before calling other electronic repair shops. read more

They fixed my fingerprint reader on my secondhand Note 4 even when every other vendor said it was impossible. It was $50 with the yelp deal. I was originally quoted $40 a month prior so I was surprised at the price change, but they did do skilled work. Now if you get your phone back remember to ask them to change the settings back to English and to remove their fingerprint (/fingerprint password) from the device after it gets fixed because initially it was handed back to me with the repairer's fingerprint still in the database with its own password XD (Note if you bring cash, you'll save approximately 7% which is their credit card fee) read more

My laptop was literally falling apart. The folks here opened my computer up, diagnosed the issue as a missing screw and a misaligned clip. They found a spare screw, fixed up the clip was broken, and let me know that other than a small cosmetic problem, the clip wouldn't pose a functional problem. This place is a great place to get your phone fixed. I smashed my first screen on a smartphone ever after owning them for over a decade and I found this place on a whim. It was local to me, seemed to be able to fix screens fast so I gave them a try. Thirty minutes later, my iPhone was like brand new with a new screen and it seemed like it had never happened. If I ever smash my screen again or know anyone who needs a quick fix, I will send them to power button to get their phone fixed ASAP. it was not cheap, but they replaced it with an original screen and I had an option to take a 3rd party version for cheaper which I like that I had the option. read more

Bad service, if you want lies about the condition of your phone go there. I took my phone with a water damage. They advise me that it will be needed two days to deal with the issue before any response. I waited for two days and a half and no answer, on my third call i was promised to get a call back with the diagnosis. BS, never call me so I called back to be lied about how their technicians couldnt find anything wrong with my phone and if you want we can bring a tech from another place to check it. They never looked at my phone all the time just to be lied like an idiot. I picked up my phone and i took it to another place where i was told that there is little to none to do on my phone since it was not taken care right away. My iPhone screen was complete shattered and gotta fix it as fast as I can. I found Power Button on Google and call to check the price of replacement: original $85 and imitation $65. (price has changed: original $75 imitation $60) When I got there people were nice. I chose the original one and she(I didn't ask her name)said it'll take 30mins. I was about to pay but she said don't pay now, but after the replacement is done. I thought it absolutely makes sense. In retrospect, I remember I made a mistake. I had cracked screen on my iPad 4 years ago and got the screen replacement which took a week. But I didn't try out the new screen works good right after. later at home, I found the new one's reaction slower... ugh. I waited for 30mins reading a book as there are seats. When the restoration was done I tried the new screen for a while to find out any problematic reactions. The result was thumbs up repair! Now my iPhone works much better. I inquired the engineer about what the differences of apple original and imitation are. He brought both of models and showed me differences: original with apple logo and glass screen and the fake one with no logo and plastic one. So, about a week ago my MacBook Air wouldn't turn on. I brought it to the Apple store (as one does) and they ran a bunch of tests on it, said it was fine but our power cord wasn't, and sold us a new cable. Fine, computer worked. A week later, computer wouldn't turn on an Apple didn't have an appointment for a week. So, I went over to Power Button and dropped computer off. This morning, they called and said the power socket was dirty. They cleaned it out and charged us $15.00. Kind of think Apple should have checked this out but NAH.
