Read the other negative reviews!! I just did. Apparently other people were given screen repairs with non authentic screens. All I can say is stay away and do your research. Not all repair shops are shady but this one 100% is. Please save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. Until this phone I had never cracked a screen, so I didn't know better. I came here based on the great reviews, but the operation is shady. I was reassured that for $70 I could have an authentic iphone screen replacement. When I left I noticed that my screen had an overall blue tint instead of the more natural tone I had before I cracked my screen. I researched to find out that non iphone manufacturered screens have blue tints. I called the business back asking for a refund, given that the touch screen also fails at random times over the past few weeks I've had the phone. Their response was for me to go back to the business and they'll make things right. The manager (the younger brother) even admitted (his words) that the screen was probably a copy because the "packaging looks similar" and he might have grabbed the wrong one. Why did I end up with a fake screen when you told me you were going to make the repair with an authentic iphone screen? I asked him this and his only explanation was he might have grabbed the wrong one. Huh? Additionally, I do not have the time to travel all the way back, especially when the first time you repaired it the service was faulty (note: I actually went back immediately after the repair because I noticed a responsive issue with the screen and had them re-do the repair). So back to the phone call 3 weeks after the repair, and I am asking for my money back, and the main manager, aka the boss, on the phone, very pleasantly said, "no problem! Come back, and we will put a broken screen back on your phone, and you can have your money back." What a bunch of bull. This is not how you do business, and it's certainly not how you maintain a business. Buyer beware. And certainly, never pay in cash. I have never written a bad review in my life, but after a full month of nothing but difficulties and lies, I don't think I have a choice to ignore it. I brought my laptop in at the end of December because the screen wasn't turning on. I had brought my phone in before for a cracked screen, so I was happy to return. I was told they would need a few days to figure out what was wrong with it. Completely fine. I wait 4 days and don't hear, so I give a them a call to check in. They say they need a few more days to see what's wrong. I say ok and wait again, another few days go by, I call and I'm told they need to send it to a specialist to figure it out. Ok. I wait a while again without hearing and when I call, they say that my hard drive is corrupted completely and there's no saving it or the stuff that's on it. At this point I'm a bit confused because the laptop has never been dropped or anything and it's just a year old but I accept it. I ask for a couple days to check my external hard drive to see what's on it and give them a call back to ask for the hard drive to just be replaced and to make sure I'll be getting my original hard drive back too. They assure me I will and the laptop will be done on Saturday. I hear nothing on Saturday and wait until Tuesday to call. He says that they figured out they could get things off my original hard drive so they've been transferring it to the new one since Saturday. That's awesome but at this point I was getting a bit annoyed that I hadn't been informed and it still wasn't done. But I thanked them and they said it would be done tomorrow so come in after 12. I go in on Wednesday at 2 and it's not done. They say it's still going through updates but it'll be done tonight. I can't go tonight so we agreed the next day. I call in the morning to check, and it's still not done. I did mention as nicely as I could that I really need the laptop back and it should have been done almost a week ago and to please hurry. It's done later that day and I go in and pay and ask for the original hard drive back. He says he can't get it after going into the back because it's in the technician's office and he doesn't have the key. Come back in tomorrow. So I go in on Friday and now the technician is on a week long vacation and I can't get it until next Friday. I call a week later and he says I can come in to get it later but they're closing early. I rearrange my schedule with clients to make it in time before getting a call that magically, he figured out that they never replaced the hard drive and it's actually the original in my laptop. At this point, I'm flabbergasted and confused because what?? I pointed out how nothing he had told me up to this point made sense then and the communication had been abhorrent and that it was clear I had been lied to. He then turned it back on me saying we wouldn't be in this situation if I hadn't insisted on repairing the laptop instead of just buying a new one (what?) and this was my fault we were in this situation. I've never been treated like this before and I've never had something like this happen. Not only did it take a full month to be told what was wrong with my laptop, but it's clear I've been lied to repeatedly throughout the whole process. I highly recommend not bringing your device here. ETA- Roman's response is full of misinformation. Everything I have put here is factual. I never asked for a discount, in fact I asked how much the extra labor would be for the extra weeks I didn't know we would be having, willing to pay for it. I was only ever quoted the $150 not $250 ever. Ask any other business I go to, I am always kind and generous, tip everyone I can, never ask for discounts because why would I get one over other people? I am a business owner myself and try to be as understanding as possible with every business I come across which is why this is the first bad review I have ever left. You can choose who you believe but there's absolutely nothing I can gain from posting this and I actually hate that I have to. But I'm telling the truth and his response is indicative of how he responded to me when I pointed out the lies I had been told over the course of a month. read more

This is my first negative review on Yelp. I had an iPhone with ocean water damage and I knew the chances of it getting fixed were about 10% -- this one-star rating is not based on the phone not getting fix or on the non-refundable payment. I was buzzed into the shop by one of the two teenagers working there (alone) on a weekday afternoon -- vape pipes in hand and Family Guy playing in the background. Not the most professional atmosphere, but I could have been surprised by excellent service. I was not! Instead the entire time I was competing for their attention, trying to explain my situation to a person who the entire time was on a personal call with a friend inside his house and making strange arrangements. My only firm request was that if the repair did not work, that he'd put the phone back together exactly as it was. He did not. The case was not sealed properly when he had handed back the phone the first time. I handed the phone back to him, and he resentfully redid it only to have some of inside tape sticking out. I pointed this out at the risk of testing his patience and he took a scissor and trimmed it. At the Apple Store they could tell right away that someone looked inside. I accept that most iPhone repair shops are sketchy, but if you want to experience authentic Guido attitude go here (that might be interesting to you), but I doubt this place is better than anything you'd find locally or in the city. read more

Awesome and Honest! I went to the shop with a haunted phone. The last two months my phone has been texting and calling random numbers and I was considering buying a new phone but quickly hit the brakes because the new iPhones were way, way out of my budget. To add insult to injury the touch screen would freeze and I'd find myself having to reboot the phone at least twice a day. Can I tell you how relieved I was to hear that my phone was still in great shape and he said once he replaces the LCD screen that was water damaged the phone would be like new. went to this repair shop for my iPhone 8 having trouble charging. Just bought 2 Apple chargers from T-Mobile cuz I was using after markets brand and was not holding charge but tried my other Apple iPads and phone which works. Have an appointment w/Apple store and told me that I need an UPGRADE Which I do not believe so my gut feeling was to go to IPHONE REPAIR WIZ. met John and I told him the ''Charging'' trouble with different cords and plugs used and not holding charge. First off, you were never present for any of my experience in your store. Secondly, my phone is almost 2 years old and I'm still paying it off so I can get an upgrade. Instead, of bad mouthing your customers back, why don't you acknowledge that there is a problem with the service your store provides and try to change it around. Everything I said was the complete truth. Don't tell people you can fix their phone when you can't. If you were honest from the get and just said, there's no way to fix the phone then we wouldn't have this issue. But now the issue isn't your service, it's your professionalism or lack thereof. Wish you can give negative stars. Both me and my boyfriend went to get our phones fixed. The first time my boyfriend went, they 'fixed it' ... only to destroy the speakers on the phone for all use. The second time he went. His screen was cracked. How hard can that be ? They hustled him into more money, saying they forgot to add a charge until the very end but he'll "hook him up" and only charge $15 instead of the $30 extra fee which we had no idea about until it was "fixed" Not only that, the screen is fixed.. but does not work. It does not respond to anything. Both times we went there our phones came out worse. God awful customer service too. It seemed as if those teenagers were being forced to work in there. Save the trouble, I'd rather spend $300 at the apple store them give these people any more of our $. read more

Roman is very honest and upfront with you about your electronics issues. He doesn't overcharge, and he tells you what you absolutely need and really makes an effort to resolve your problems. He wants to help you protect your investments and has products that will help you do so. I had a 2009 MacBook that was completely shot, he did an assessment, and said it was not worth it to fix, but that I should keep it for parts (ex. Hard Drive is in exceptional condition and I can use it if hard drive breaks in another MacBook.) And very reasonable prices. He replaced the battery in my MacBook for 1/2 the price of what Apple was charging and cleaned it. You should come by and get your MacBook tuned up here, or at least cleaned. Again, super reasonable price. Anyways, just go in with whatever you electronics dilema you have, and Roman will take care of you. (Also, if you're looking for used laptops, phones, etc., there are plenty here.) You won't regret it. read more

My specific experience: My battery in my iPhone expanded thus destroying my phone. Roman was able to extract all the pictures and videos onto my external hard drive and saved the day. He saved a backup file on his work computer and had me go home, download the content on my personal computer to make sure everything transferred. If it didn't, he would have had me come back in to download the pictures and videos again BEFORE he deleted it off his office computer. THANK YOU ROMAN!!!!!!!!!! I needed to have my son's IPad mini battery replaced. I had brought it to Apple but they wouldn't replace a battery instead they insisted I buy a new iPad. That thought alone was outrageous considering this is used for a toddler. I researched different repair shops and decided on IPhone Repair Wiz. This place is amazing!! I cracked my phone really badly (even the front facing camera :( ) but I read the reviews for this place and decided to check it out. The service was amazing, the gentleman there (I think his name was Roman I didn't ask, whoops) and the girl working with him gave me really helpful advice since I want to trade my phone in when the iPhone 8 comes out. I decided to get the gorilla glass and they gave me a deal so I only paid $130 for the screen to be replaced and the gorilla glass added! My phone feels brand new and it only took about 20 minutes. Tip: they do charge tax if you use card so plan to bring cash! They were nice enough to at least advise me of the tax so I had a chance to go grab some $ from the ATM while my phone was being fixed. Great experience and my phone was fixed in five minutes! For some odd reason, my iPhone 13 became stuck on the zoom screen to the 100th power and I could not fix it myself. I could not turn my phone on and off since the on and off switch was enlarged nor could I see phone calls or texts on the enlarged screen. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this spot was still open on a Saturday around 5:00 PM. I gave Roman my phone and he said "we will figure it out" and sure enough he did! Since your business "model" was to buy original parts. Why was mine not an OEM part? So since you're telling me is it's OEM, Apple must be wrong when they told me it's a third party LCD. Had my phone stayed working and responsive, I would have been a reoccurring customer. Had Apple NOT told me that the screen I had paid for from YOU, was not a third party LCD and my phone was not working because of another reason, I would be a reoccurring customer to you. My Yelp account has been opened since 2011. If I was truly a competitor, would I have left 1-star ratings on the other 2-3 *new* competitor stores near you?
