The salad was fresh/crisp and the biscuits w/honey, oh my melt in your mouth goodness! I ordered the catfish. Oh so light and crisp coating of cornmeal and fried to perfection. My husband got the chicken fried steak. Nice light coating and fork tender to cut. Green beans were quite mushy, and the beans were super watery as well. Conversely the mashed potatoes were SUPER thick and therefore hard to eat a lot of, even when mixed with the gravy. Others mentioned that the fried chicken was pretty salty. My husband was able to finish off the chicken fried steak I had leftover when I brought it home, which was nice. $25-ish after tax and tip to feed two adults is pretty good in this economy.
