Wow! Great local gem. The staff here is very kind, friendly, and helpful. The service is prompt; my friend and I ordered take out and our food was ready in 10 minutes. The total was about $40. We each ordered the 5-piece chicken fingers and split an order of tots. The hand-breaded fried chicken was so juicy, tender, and flavorful. The tots were crispy and well-seasoned. I'd highly recommend if you're in the area and seeking a casual, fast experience. Dive Inn is next door - great spot to grab a beer!

The fried chicken was cooked perfectly with the right crunch and seasoning that shows these guys are pros. The homemade pickles were a nice touch to the chicken after having something oily you get the refreshing crunch of dill pickle slices. The price was on point and the service really kind and attentive. I'm really glad we found this place and the reviews were not lying. The place inside is a bit small but decorated appropriately with chicken memes. Next time I would have gotten the buffalo sauce. The chicken sandwiches are worth it but not to eat every time for the sake of your health haha.

If you're looking for a good chicken place in Denver, then this is it. As someone who is serious about their chicken being from down south this was actually a good option. Not better than down south but a good option here. My sister recommended this place to me, and I'm sure glad she did. I decided on the loaded tots and five piece chicken tenders. The customer service was impeccable. The woman behind the front counter was super sweet and very personable. They cook your food to order and so when my chicken was handed to me in the to go container, it was still sizzling. I can definitely see myself coming back here if I'm in the area definitely recommend!

Right after YES event at Law's, Corie recommended to come here for great fried chicken. I initially wanted to go to another sandwich shop nearby but they were closed, so I rushed over here as they were closing in 30 mins and I hate to be THAT customer. Apologized to Christopher as they were getting ready to close up shop by the time my order was ready. Working in retail for many years I hate to delay their closure... thankfully I walked out of there with 5 mins to spare and decided to munch in the car. Ordered the small party pack to go - it came with 3 chicken tenders and 6 wings w a piece of Texas toast. I couldn't resist waiting until I get home so I turned off the light in my car and only depended on the street light while I feasted. Didn't want anyone to see me inhale the chicken tenders as if I freshly woke up from hibernation and eating this as my first meal.... The restaurant was small but clean and the chicken was so juicy and crispy. I thought the batter to meat ratio was great and the dipping sauce was tasty too. Though the mango habanero was more sweet than spicy and that was my only complaint. Christopher was kind and the service was great too. I'll def be back next time to enjoy this with some beers from next door, I think that'll really hit the spot.

Its wing Wednesday!!!! Stumble upon this place looking for wings close by-ish. Umm hello yes please the wings were good. Saucy i must say. I got mango habanero. I felt spicy today. Good spicy. Love the fries came with jalapeño ketchup also good. I got the 6 piece. My bestie got a chicken club and she was skeptical and said this better be good for $14!! Well she also said her sand-which was good. Chicken was big and juicy and the sauce was delish. There was a lot of lettuce. Service was great you are able to order on your phone or at the register. Great ambiance, small but good hangout spot with a few friends. You are able to order your food and take it next door to dive inn. Which is a cool place for drinks very big. Definitely wasn't expecting that at all. They have out door seating and corn hole, pool you can play.

Service: super quick, nice friendly staff, decent prices Ambiance: fast food restaurant, there are a few tables where you can dine in, or you can go next store to dive inn with your food and get a drink. Food: SO good. The sauces were outstanding. Get the cluck sauce with your tots. Buffalo hot was like a buffalo medium to me but it was perfect.

New wing spot on the block! My wings-obsessed friend and I went to check out the hype. Plenty of street parking coming here for lunch on a weekday. Customer service was chill. We got some good menu recommendations from all the staff members as we debated only getting buffalo wings or throwing in chicken tenders as well. We went with wings only, ordering them extra crispy and coated with hot & xtra hot buffalo sauce. I thought they were okay - not my favorite in terms of flavor. The tots were tasty and very crumbly. I think where I went wrong was not ordering chicken tenders. Totally need to come back for those (and properly lean into trying all their sauces) as it's their specialty!

I'm visiting and where I'm from, there's like one chicken place in the entire region to go to so I've been looking for something to fill that craving. I can't give it a 5 star mainly because I need to come back and try just the strips or the wings by itself. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich which is a Buffalo chicken grilled cheese and maybe I just wasn't hungry enough but it was overly intense for me. I took it apart and ate it separate half way through. What I will say is even though the chicken had American cheese and had Buffalo sauce all over it, you could tell it was really high quality. The ranch was good too which is very important as well! The only other thing, which is a tiny gripe and not a big deal at all...but I feel as though the person running your shop should enjoy your food and that's kind of difficult when they're vegetarian and can't offer any personal advice...she was very kind and tried her best though so that's really what matters.

I had the club sandwhich was really good crispy chicken the sauce was good as well but too much lettuce. The place is small not a lot of people can fit. Fast service the wait was only about 20 min

Christy N.

Wow was I impressed by the crispiness and juiciness of the fried chicken wings. They had about 10 different flavors that ranged from sweet, tangy, and spicy. Orders are made fresh on the spot. The cook hooked it up and made it a good experience with fun old school tunes. The place is definitely a mom and pop kind of shop. Parking can be difficult but worth every bite.

First, wife is a vegetarian and they had no mains other than Mac and cheese for her. She ordered the salad without chicken which was $25. They knocked it down to $22 after I asked why it was the same price without meat, which still seemed like a lot for a salad with no protein. Kids' Mac and cheese was not the same receipe as last time; it was a different noodle and seemed to be needing some salt as it was pretty bland. Unlike our last visit they did not include an ice cream for dessert. My fried chicken and waffles was ok--the breading was a bit soggy though and I much preferred the Nashville hot chicken from my last visit. If I'm being honest this was closer to a 2 star experience, but with how good the last visit was, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt they maybe tonight they were just off. That said--need one vegetarian entree for the menu.

We first attempted lunch at Rebel Bread's café, but they were out of most sandwiches due to a missed delivery. Leven Supply was our second stop, but they had been seized by the State due to unpaid taxes! Fortunately Lucile's is right across Alameda Avenue from Leven and we found them humming along at their usual pace. We were greeted by Brad, a particularly friendly, personable, and efficient server and soon seated in the comfortable dining room which features just the right number of New Orleans-themed tchotchkes. My girlfriend ordered Eggs Sardou which features creamed spinach, Gulf shrimp, poached eggs, and Hollandaise. She chose the jalapeño cheese grits. I had Eggs Pontchartrain with pan-fried mountain trout, poached eggs, and Béarnaise plus the plain cheese grits. My girlfriend had never been to Lucile's. She was thrilled with her dish. The spinach was particularly creamy and savory. Absolutely delicious. My meal was also excellent. Every item was perfectly prepared. I haven't even mentioned the buttermilk biscuits which are each a meal in themselves and come out at the peak of perfection. Lucile's is one of my favorites. Anyone can find a delicious choice there.

That said, it's also pretty cramped, and the wait times can be long (sometimes even longer than quoted). One thing we do appreciate is how they've made the waiting experience more comfortable. There's a somewhat hidden upstairs waiting area that's especially nice during those unpredictable winter days, and you can even grab a drink in a tiny room tucked away on the other side of the dining area. It's a thoughtful touch that helps pass the time. The staff are consistently friendly and create a warm and inclusive atmosphere. As for the food - there's a lot to love. The Eggs Sourdou, Pain Perdu, and Bennifer standout. The jalapeño grits are another highlight. On the flip side, the Cajun breakfast with red beans and rice was a bit much- it became overwhelming after a few bites, so I probably wouldn't go that route again. Overall, the food is impressively comparable to what you'd find in New Orleans, which is such a treat to have close to home. With more Creole spots popping up around town, we're excited to explore and compare- but Lucille's has definitely set a high bar. You're in for quite an experience if you order the Sazerac- it's more impressive than any I've had in New Orleans.

There's deals for different days of the weekday and they have events there too I think. Decor is very eclectic. Think of a mixture of a retro 50's diner and bar with the wild west and a dash of sci-fi too. Very red and fun, even my booth table had a mini disco ball. And on top of that, during the holiday season, there's Xmas decorations as well. Great place to catch up and hang out I'm sure since they have a billiards table there too. For brunch, I got the Three Run Double which includes a buttermilk biscuit, 2 eggs (I got mine over easy), house made jam (it's strawberry), honey butter, and a choice of meat. I got their Polidori sausage. Solid eggs and sausage patty. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. The biscuit though, absolutely divine. Nice and fluffy and moist with several layers within. Slight crumbly crust and it didn't immediately desiccate or disintegrate which is great. Went deliciously with the strawberry jam and the honey butter (slightly salty with sweetness). I was actually meting out the biscuit so I don't run out of it while consuming my proteins. It was so good!
