I cannot name one instructor because all instructors are very nice and comfortable to take class with. All are friendly and encouraging. I've attended for a few months now, and I am really enjoying the workout experience. I like how the classes are limited in the number of attendees (due to number of reformers), which allow the instructors to help each attendee out and makes going to class less intimidating... because I am new goer to Pilates! The studio itself is very nice, new, and cozy. The staff, including the instructors, are very nice and do a good job in welcoming you the Club Pilates family. The facility is quaint, clean with a knowledgeable and motivational staff. I was bummed initially because it appeared it was going to be challenging getting into a class. 6 mo later, I'm happy to report this is not the case! There are classes, either due to time or instructor, that do fill up quickly. However, cancellations are common. Download their app to schedule yourself for classes. You can add yourself to a waitlist for a full class, cancel your spot or schedule yourself for the INTRO class from the app. Since each class is limited to 12 spots there is a No show fee for not calling to cancel or cancelling in a timely manner. It isn't an intimidating or cliquish place. Grab some grip socks & leggings or purchase them when you get there. The do fun things like 80's week, happy hours, Valentine's couples classes and Bingo (for merchandise/discounts). It's a fantastic workout w/ classes for all skill levels. Only down size is the classes don't run all day. There is a break from 1:30 to about 4:30. read more

First of all, I want to say that I have had the worst experience in my life at Club Pilates in Murphy. I didn't want to write this long review at first, but in my opinion I think it is mandatory for other people to know what I experienced before they put their money into this gym facility. First I want to start by saying I came in to Club Pilates in Murphy and had a free trial session after that session the staff and employees there sat with me to explain how everything works and the policy and stuff of that sort. I agreed to everything that they have said and decided to try the 1st Class with Club Pilates in Murphy. My first class was scheduled on Monday Jan 16, 2022 at 7:30 PM. I have came on that day and a couple mins earlier than the start time of the actual class. When I came in to the building; the staff told me you don't have your socks on you will need that before you can join the class, I checked and then noticed I forgot them I then replied and said sorry, but I forgot them. I told her that I have no problem in purchasing another pair of socks so I don't have to cancel this class session and besides I'll have 2 pairs in case I forget one I'll have one with me in the car. She said yes that's fine, I gave her my VISA so she can charge me and later she told me sorry but it's not going through. I told her I don't think there is a problem with my VISA, I think there is a problem with the actual system because I have been using this payment method for decades and it works. After that, I purchased the socks through a different payment method and the employee at the front told me that you can enjoy the class and go in. The employee in the front not only does not know of the policy that if your late 5 mins you can't join the class but she was the ultimate reason why I was late. No experience from the front desk! My advice: HIRE SOMEONE ELSE! When I stepped in to the class I saw a gorilla standing there as if I did something wrong. The instructor of the class is the gorilla I am talking about. She said to me your late 5 mins you can't join the class in a very disrespectful disgusting way. This was very shocking to me as how rude she was when she said that and the fact that she said it in a very scream tone way. First of all, I was disappointed here because I was 5 mins late due to the Ladies in the front she made me late by keeping me at the front for 5 mins. So this was NOT my fault at all but it was due to the staff in the front that has no experience at all about how to approach customers and clients. I have then requested to speak to the manager and the manager was very rude as well. The manger gave me the same answer " Go home now you can't attend the class and I'll call you tomorrow" Disgusting manger. I don't know how he is still hired! After all of this, I literally told the Staff there I would like my money back for the class and I am no longer interested in the services here. I am very disappointed in how I was treated here. I just want people to be aware of the following before they put a penny in this gym/ club. 1. System doesn't work properly. Before you open a club fix the systems that are associated so it is properly organized. 2. The instructors are called instructors for a reason. They are role models to each and every client. At this facility they are the opposite angry creature and rude animals. 3. Rude manager. Look, if the person in charge of the facility is rude what do you expect of the employee and instructors. Rude as well!! Very bad experience!!! Please take my advice and find another gym that will at least be respectful and value you as a client that treat you with respect and dignity. Club Pilates is literally the worse I have seen in Murphy and I don't recommend anyone to put a single penny into their pockets. You will regret it. read more

Like the Shiloh Club Pilates, it's super-clean, Texas-friendly, and hyper-hip! The industrial ceiling expands the space vertically diffusing the azure LED light higher. While the Shiloh location is cozier, this location is airier. Unfortunately,I can't always hear or understand the teacher's cues with this expansive space because the music can be too loud and/or echoey (is this a word?!), or the volume of the teacher's headset microphone isn't high enough or the teacher is just using her voice to project the cues.... This studio has highly trained instructors knowledgeable of both classical and contemporary Pilates jargon. I've had classes from Allison, Lea-Ann(e?), Lori, Jayne and Carmen from this location, and each give these classes her own distinct styles, while still remaining faithful to the Pilates' path. There is always variety within the classes themselves to keep me continually interested. On a different note, while I have to travel an extra 15 minutes to get here, I appreciate the extra classes in the morning, starting at 5:30am! I do wish there were classes between 1:30-4:30 pm at this location because it's a very popular studio, and if they give this studio a chance, there will be interest in this time slot, too! The variety of classes - both in intensity and intention - is balanced throughout the week, and the afternoon classes on Friday helps me get more chances to practice on the apparatuses more. read more

Not happy with how things ended here. Started having vertigo and was convinced to try private sessions instead of classes. Paid for 4 and had two classes and really enjoyed them with Timla. However she got busy so they tried putting me with someone else. When i showed up the instructor could not teach me because their class instructor did not show so no private for me. I didn't make a big deal of it and hoped they would reschedule me later. Fast forward a couple months and still no more privates and they refuse to refund me. I waited to be rescheduled and they forgot about me. I got a text telling me how she dropped the ball and I am just really disappointed they charge so much and then treat you like a number. Very disingenuous and unethical business practices at this location. As a beginner, I also didn't enjoy how different the exercises in the classes were because I couldn't see if I was improving or making progress. Each class was different exercises and never the same but for a beginner, I think that is needed. Scheduling a month in advance for classes is also difficult when you don't know what your life will truly be like by the time that class comes up. I wanted to love it but feel ripped off in the end. read more

The manager responded saying they resolved my issue months ago, and yet I am still getting charged as of two days ago for a membership I canceled. Also- the fat shaming/mocking comments absolutely happened, not that anyone has contacted me in any way to follow up on the specific employee's behavior. I only had 3 beginner classes. The instructor advised me on every visit that she didn't have time, even though I'm a beginner. She also kept telling me I would do better with a personal trainer. Even went as far as to ask me, could I hear her? Yeap, but in the meantime, what do I get for the money I'm spending on classes? Now I need a personal trainer? I decided that since she didn't have the time to teach me, I would go and take my money elsewhere. I'm so happy where I am now, and I didn't need a personal trainer. First and foremost it is really hard to find available classes on the weekend unless you book a month in advance. Even evening classes during weekdays are usually full. If you have a demanding work schedule like mine, you will find difficult to go whenever you want to, or you will end up losing credits if you cannot cancel your scheduled class within the required 12 hr window. Second, it was not clearly explained that unused monthly credits do not rollover to the next month. On the positive side, the place is nice, clean and small, which is great in COVID times but not so great if you can't find a spot regularly. Club Pilates has been a life changer. I love the low-impact workouts, while knowing that you can increase your own difficulty setting with guidance from the instructors (lots of modifications). The instructors are fantastic, they provide such excellent verbal cues that everyone can feel comfortable fitting into their classes here. The Reformer is a fantastic piece of equipment that really has upped my workouts and stretches! And in the face of COVID-19, our studio has really embraced a whole host of new cleaning procedures that make me feel so comfortable continuing to come here. Very thankful for finding this community! Really glad to see a CP in our area. I've worked out at another facility close by and really liked the facility, staff and workout, but the schedule didn't always fit my availability. The Murphy studio is new, the facility is always clean, well organized & the staff are friendly, knowledgeable & approachable. I like the small class size and individual attention the instructors are able to provide when necessary. The schedule is variable at this point, but so far it's working for me. I was very excited to see a Pilates studio open near me. I love the reformer pilates and I do also love that they use other equipment as well; bar, trx, etc. The teachers are great and the staff and manager are very nice and totally accommodating to anything you need. I mean, they are REALLY nice!! My only complaint or wish would be that their classes were a little longer. They feel a little rushed and I'd like to have more time on the reformer. I understand they do this because they can only fit so many tables in their space so space is limited which means they need to offer more classes but 50 minutes is too short. If the classes were longer I would've given them They do offer classes all day long so that is a bonus. read more
