I have been bringing my dodge to this dealership for service for years. I always have excellent service and all of my questions are answered. None of the service advisers talk down to me or patronize me for not having a great deal of knowledge on the subject of automobiles. Repairs are always taken care of in a timely manner (with the exception of having my transmission replaced, that took about a week longer than they originally told me but I had a free rental so it was no skin off my nose). I also appreciate that they have a corner with toys and books to help entertain my beastlings and the parts department always give each child a free hot wheels car. All of my children, from my 1 year old daughter to my 11 year old son, love playing with a new car while we wait. read more

Took my wife's Jeep Cherokee to get serviced this morning. They got her vehicle in and out quickly. With the oil changed and tires rotated I inquired about replacing her broken radio antenna. They looked at it and the gentleman came out with some tools and removed the broken piece while I went in and purchased a new antenna ($21). He installed the new antenna and I was out of there in 45 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised they didn't charge me for the labor. Everyone I dealt with was great and pleasant. Today I visited Clovis Chrysler Dodge Jeep, and was fully satisfied with the experience. I needed an oil change, and they got me in and completed the service within one hour. Very pleased. They communicated the status of my car and made me aware of any future areas to keep an eye on. Everytime we visit, we are greeted by name, and feel welcomed. Honestly, it is that personal customer service and care that keeps us coming back. In the waiting area, there are always refreshments, magazines, and TV to watch. Make sure you read until you reach " the good part" lol Clovis dodge cares about you ONLY when you are spending money with them. Once you are out of sight, well you know the rest, out of mind. So here's my magnificent experience with the unreliable and dishonest dealership. I purchased the lifetime oil change with my brand new Laramie this past year. So I brought my truck into the dealer on December 22nd for the oil change and tire rotation. All is well and I got home. After a few hours of being home 3-4 hours I noticed oil dropping onto my driveway. So I crawled under my truck and what do I see you ask? Ah! Used motor oil covering the bottom side of my engine and front axles. So I take my truck back to the dealer for them to rectify the situation, which I have to admit they were quick to put the truck on the lift to establish the tech who did the oil change was just sloppy and didn't clean his mess. Well, (here's the good part), they put my truck on a lift, then decided it wasn't the correct lift . So they moved the truck to another lift. Put the truck in the air, clean the oil and I go home. Two days later After the truck has been sitting since I drove it home from the dealer I happened to notice a dent in my cab as I walked up my driveway. So I crawl under it again and inspect. They put my truck on the incorrect lift and it shifted and fell onto the lift arm and now I'm fighting them to have this truck repaired correctly at a reputable auto body shop while they want me to go to some cut rate shop that said it'll take less than $500 And 4-5 hours to fix it. I didn't believe that I would be getting a quality repair so I went and got two other estimates in which both are claiming to be 3-4 times the original estimate from their recommended shop. These shops gave detailed breakdowns explaining the extensive labor that was necessary to fix the truck correctly. The service manager Khalid is unwilling to make the customer happy. Constant run around. I have yet to receive their estimates from their shops they supposedly have. They won't file an insurance claim nor will they give me their insurance information. Basically it's come down to this according to their service manager Khalid, I have two options. They claim my only options are to take my truck to be loaded up with bondo and a half ass patch job or they'll give me a check for the estimate to their guys estimate. Both of which are extremely undesirable. I gusss this is what I get for spending 50k on a truck and service contracts with a supposedly professional establishment. read more

Unfortunately, Clovis Chrysler has been one of the worst vehicle service I've had. I've owned Honda and Chevy before Chrysler and have obviously been to both for service. I got to say the Chrysler has been the worst experience since I pitched my truck back in 2015 (brand new). I've had a transmission exchange on it several months of owning it. They provided me with an unacceptable, extremely dirty loaner. They kept my truck for about three to four weeks. Truck still does the same thing. Unfortunately, it's my only vehicle and I hate their service so I just deal with it. My truck is currently in the shop since Thursday afternoon due to a water leak. Technician was not kind enough to call me on Friday to inform me that my truck had a water leak. They have parts in stock but couldn't get to it... oh, I had an appointment too. I called just now, and my truck is still not in the shop getting worked on. I have to wait and see if they can get it in today (remember, it's only a water pump and parts are in stock). this is very irritating. I would never purchase a vehicle (or any of their brands again). Nor do I recommend anyone else to. Unless you don't mind the trouble. I missed so many hours of work because of all the issues I've had with them. I guess I was use to the fast service... literally in and out with Honda and Chevy. read more

Worst experience I have ever had with a dealership. My 2019 Ram that I have had since November with almost 10,000 miles developed a whining noise while driving it. I took it into the shop to have them figure out what the issue was and to do a service and change the fuel filters. The service advisor Arman was nice and I thought everything would go like a typical dealership service. I dropped it off when they opened at 7:00 and went to work. That evening they called to tell me that they weren't able to determine what the issue was, so they would need to keep it overnight. I was okay with it, so I waited to hear from them the next day. I got a call stating they found a broken piece of metal from the rear differential and they needed to take apart the rear end to figure out the issue, I knew that it would be covered under warranty, so I gave them permission to perform the work. Arman asked me if I did anything the truck because if they concluded that the issue was caused by me, warranty wouldn't cover it. This was the second time he asked me this as he asked me the same question the day before. Fast forward 3 days and I heard nothing, I had to go to the dealership to pickup some tools for my job, it was Friday afternoon and Arman couldn't tell me if it was under warranty or not. He told me he hoped to have more information by Monday. Since they had my truck for a week, I asked about getting warranty to cover a rental car for me, he said he couldn't say if it was under warranty or not. Monday morning comes around, my wife calls and asks for a status and to setup a rental car, Arman tells her its under warranty and that he had a rental car waiting for us. The second week it was the same thing everyday, I would call and he had no new information, he was waiting for this info or that info...I drove by the dealership 3 times that week and the truck never moved. At 2.5 weeks I called, he said he was waiting for Chrysler to tell him what parts to order, in the same conversation he said he was waiting for the technician to tell him to order the parts. I asked him if they disassembled the differential like they said they were going to on day two, and he couldn't give me a straight answer. I ended up going into the dealership and asked for the service manager. When I asked for the manager Arman went on about how much he was doing to serve me and that they are busy, among other excuses. I told him I still wanted to talk to the manager. The manager came out and I told him that my truck had been in their shop for 2.5 weeks and that nothing had been done and that Arman and I were having communication issues. The manager told me he would look into it and would give me a call that evening. He honored his words and called me that evening and apologized for the work not being done. That was a Wednesday, I still didn't get my truck back until the following Thursday. I will never take my truck back to that place to work on my vehicle, they had my truck for 25 days, when I asked if they would wave some of the bill for the oil service and fuel filter change, Arman told me no. He said he would honor a coupon that I found online that he didn't even offer me when I first brought my truck in. I expected better, the rental car was okay, but warranty covered that, and it wasn't my truck. I missed out on a trip with my family and not having the ability to tow a trailer was frustrating. 25 days of excuses, runaround, and absolutely no assistance from a service advisor should tell you to take your vehicle somewhere else. read more

On December 19 I brought my truck, Dodge Ram 2500 - Diesel, to this dealer to have the service department check out my truck, because it, all of a sudden, had a different sound on the start up and after warm up. It should be noted that I am a female college student and depend on the expertise of these companies to help me with my vehicle. The vehicle was in the shop all day. I postponed my vacation so that I could have my truck checked out. After picking up my truck it sounded the same. The service consultant, Mike, told me that it sounded like a big strong diesel to me. He advised me that they did the 23 point inspection, including a cold start up and was informed that everything was alright. At this point I drove the vehicle off the Dodge service lot. On my trip home some 150 miles the "Exhaust Filter Regeneration Service Required Now" message came on, as well as the "Filter 80% Full" message. I arrived home and had my dad check it out. Upon getting underneath the vehicle to check the exhaust system it was evident that the catalytic converter was missing. Really!!! You mean to tell me that a dealer service department specialized in detecting these types of problems could not see this two foot piece of equipment not attached to the vehicle. Needless to say I will never take my vehicle to this incompetent dealership again for service and they will not be doing the replacement work for this problem. It's no wonder that dealers and service departments get such a bad rap when this is the kind of service you get. Spent 10 minutes in this dealership and not once were we approached by a sales associate. I am new to Yelp and often check business reviews but have never written a review myself. But my experience visiting this dealership was something I felt compelled to share. Me and my girlfriend, who is 8 months pregnant, were excited about buying a new car to fit our growing family. Pre-approved from our bank, check in hand, and after doing a little research online, we decided to visit this dealership and have a look, test drive, etc., a new or used SUV hoping we would find something that worked for us. Upon entering the dealership parking lot, around noon time frame, and before we went inside we decided to have a look around our selves before we actually entered the building. After looking at a couple cars we decided to go inside and speak with a sale rep. Upon entering the building we saw a few staff but no one actually sitting at the front desk (a front desk which I would assume is for customer service). We then decided to have a seat in the show room area. Still no one approaches us or even looks our way for that matter. While we are sitting here, we see several employees coming and going, one person in particular, not sure if she was staff or not, but she was going in/out of the staff area, talking, laughing, joking with staff members all while escorting her dog about the place. We were sitting there watching all of this and wondering why with so many staff members around who obviously had enough free time to goo goo gaga over some ladies dog, why no one approached us. Maybe a Black man and his pregnant Asian girlfriend makes the staff blush, i don't know... (Not trying to turn this into a racial thing, and really hope our experience wasn't because of anything like that, but just added this comment for a little humor) We are both prior military, myself of ten years and my girlfriend eight, so we have both spent a considerable amount of our lives overseas. Reason I added this bit of information is because we couldn't help but compare this experience to our customer service experiences overseas. We expected more from our country. Something as small as a bad experience visiting a car dealership makes us wish we were back overseas. read more

I told him the price I needed to be at. He then said we can do that for you come on in. Came in, wasted 2 hours. Hello...I am a US Army Veteran. A while back I brought my Jeep Commander for a Diagnostics test. Usually a one or two day wait no more than a hour. It took more than 10 days more or less. While I had a Job opportunity out of state I needed my vehicle. I did look around the lot as many people do. Well with the stress and anxiety of not having my Jeep Commander diagnosed and the time was nearing for my out of state job appointment I ended up buy a New 2017 Jeep...at a higher than normal percentage rate and the Dealer of this dealership by the time the papers where signed somehow got me to say yes to $50.00 yes...Fifty dollars for my 2007 Jeep Commander with a 5.7 hemi engine and new Les Schwab Batter and Les Schwab tire with less than a year on the road. My feeling of disgust for the way they treated me in my weak hour is unimaginable...I will never shop here again and I will continue to tell people about the way there true actions come when they see vulnerability. Also the service rep couldn't even take the effort to look up from his keyboard. Brought a Jeep Grand Cherokee in for 2 recalls and a 23 point safety inspection. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle I was told the work was done, as was noted on the paperwork. I asked where the 23 point safety inspection form was and the service adviser, Miguel, told me the mechanic didn't fill one out but that everything was fine. I walked out to my vehicle and there was a large (20") crack in the windshield that was not there when I checked my vehicle in. Miguel surmised it was due to previously existing rock strike that must have cracked from the heat. On a side note, checking the windshield for damage/cracks is one of the 23 points on the safety inspection they allegedly completed. I then spoke with Khalid, the manager, who also felt that it was due to a rock strike/heat. When I asked why this wasn't noted during the 23 point safety inspection, he said, "I'm not going to bullshit you, if the inspection form wasn't filled out, the inspection wasn't done." He then said he would "work with me" and get the window replaced at his cost. He said he would call me with the prices and information. Fair enough. 3 days later (not including the weekend) I hadn't heard from him. I called this morning and he said, "oh yeah, let me make some calls and I'll call you back in 10 minutes." It's now been much longer than that.. still nothing. I'm curious why I didn't receive a customer satisfaction survey? Update: Khalid called me back (shortly after I posted this review, which may just be a coincidence). He gave me the name and number of a glass company and provided 2 prices for OEM and after market. I called the glass company. They were very friendly and helpful. I asked how much Khalid's referal had saved me on the $390 quote for the OEM replacement windshield and she said about $30. My current truck is being purchased back by Dodge. I left my card with Chase Burke and asked him to give me his lowest price on 4 different trucks. He called me back the next day and kept in touch with me for over 3 weeks while I was waiting on Dodge to buy my vehicle. He had my back, he was very patient, no non-sense, no hard sell, just objective numbers, transparency and a done deal. Their inventory here (especially for trucks) is incredible, and they have a lot of SRT products as well. I also can;t complain about their service department, who agreed to do my oil change (free) at 1,000 miles even though they advised i didn't need it yet. The oil change was done quickly, and of course, Chase hooked it up with a sweet loaner in the mean time. As others have said this place doesn't deserve one star. I purchased a NEW 2015 ram a couple of weeks ago it had a small dent about the size of a dime on the right side C pillar, the dealership and I signed papers that they were responsible for fixing it. The first fix looked great until where the putty and paint the body guy had applied to cover up the hole in the door jam he drilled to pop the dent out fell off after a few days. I took it back to be fixed not happy at this point and the solution was to drill a quarter inch hole and put a rubber plug in it that now pusses out the factory rubber seal around the door and prevents it from seating correctly. The second issue I have is I paid extra for the alpine stereo system that isn't fully compatible with my phone ( the software is too new) This wasn't mentioned to me before I purchased the truck. I've taken my truck in twice for this issue and have had many service people tell me its your software or phone because their phone worked just fine. A "star case" was then opened and i was told to call back in a week if I had not heard from them. A week goes by and I call and am told no reply to the claim yet and until enough people complain about it they wont have a fix. REALLY?????? I've called back many times since then to talk to the service manager and am constantly told we will have him call you and still haven't had a call back, I have also called to speak to the general manager and am told the same think and have not had a call back from him. Makes you feel really good about buying the extended service and warranty for that dealer ship and your blown off like that. The third issue i have after digging through all the paperwork to find answers to warranty issues is finding out that the dealership pulled a bait and switch on me. I purchased a truck that was on sale and was charged a different amount and the credited the difference in the price at the tail end of the loan.....some sale, sounds to me like the dealership was getting their money first and leaving you with the crud left over. I would strongly consider going to a different dealership than clovis or fresno and save yourself the hardship. I am not a satisfied customer!!!!! read more
