My experience with the service center was horrible, I will never bring my car back or recommend anyone take their car there. The service manager Kalid is an outright liar & a weasel. I'm not happy with any aspect of the work they did. They damaged my new car, wouldn't take responsibility (This was the only shop my car had been to & was damaged by not positioning the arms correctly when lifting the vehicle), didn't reassemble the exhaust correctly (exhaust was crooked, & hanging way out), & now I find I have to pay for another oil change 1,500 miles after they were supposed to have changed the oil (its not just them forgetting to reset the oil change light, I checked the oil & it shouldn't have the color/smell for oil with 1500 miles on it, too dark & smells of hydrocarbons) I had purchased a new challenger & at about 5,000 miles my cars check engine light had come on. I checked for trouble codes & found it had a DTC for a cylinder 2 misfire. I left the car with them to diagnose the problem & repair the vehicle. When I dropped it off I stated to the advisor that if you don't have to disassemble the engine to the point of requiring an oil change I would like to purchase synthetic oil & pay for an oil change. I also stated that if they did have to tear apart the engine that far to require an oil change for the warranty repair, I would pay for the difference to use synthetic oil (Dodge Warranty will pay the dealership for the fluids needed in warranty repairs, but doesn't pay to upgrade to synthetic oil). The car was with them for about a week. When I got the car back it was completely covered in mud (I just had this detailed), my drivers side rocker panel was scratched & bent into my vehicle, also a piece of metal was hanging down from under my car. Kalid tried to convince me that there was rust in the spot that was damaged, I showed him this was not rust but the undercoating rubber that had the paint taken off it when they damaged my car. Kalid agreed it was not rust but still wouldn't take responsibility for the damage. He stated they don't even have a lift that could have caused this damage (even though I was looking right at one that would). This car had never been in a shop, it was brand new. I conceded to accepting that if they replaced the rocker panel they scratched/bent then I would be fine (when the rocker panel wasn't bent into the car it would cover the piece of twisted metal hanging down). He said ok, that he would order the rocker panel, & call me when the part was in. Never happened. Now as far as the oil change, they had to tear my engine down to the point of replacing a head gasket as well as a lifter (they told me only a lifter over the phone & that's why I would still need to pay for an oil change). I called him on the fact that dodge pays for changing fluids under warranty & why are you charging me again for something dodge will be already be paying you for. Kalid stated "As per dodge policy we are to reuse engine oil, we drain the oil into a container & put it back in the car". Its industry standard to replace the oil when tearing the engine down far enough to do a head gasket to avoid contaminating the oil. But I guess this is a moot point as my oil change light came on 1,500 miles later & the oil looks/smells like it was never changed in the first place, even though I paid for the oil change. So now I have to pay for another oil change, & also find another dodge service center in case I have any warranty work. I would try Fresno dodge but they are owned by the same people who put their faith in this guy. read more

We have been looking for a car for over two years so by the time we walked into Clovis C.D.J.R, after yet another looong day of searching, I was DONE with car salesmen, DONE with the game, cranky and FINALLY knew exactly what I was looking for in a car and in a payment. Marco was exactly what I needed: "Hi, Let me know if you have any questions." Boom! That was all. No stalking, no pushing..Just "HI"! I was so shocked I forgot my usual "put-off line" and regurgitated everything I stated above, explained what I was looking for and waited for him to ignore me leading me to something he thought I might like better. He asked a couple of detail questions (trim options) then said, "I got you" and walked us directly to, what I did not know then, would eventually be the car I took home. He didn't point out the obvious stuff and didn't try to up-sell options that came in the more expensive models. He acknowledged what we wanted, affirmed our choices then showed us the features, benefits and advantages that met those needs! Heaven!! Marco's partner Jorge swung by after our test drive to ask if we had any other questions and talk dollars. I think he recognized that my head was spinning and new I needed a moment to process all of this. He handed us the keys to the car and said, "Go. Drive." We'll be here when you get back!! What!! Who does that!!? Off we went and by the time we came back we knew we were buying this car for three reasons: First, The Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude fit all of my criteria and was wayyyyy more car then I ever thought I would get for the money. Second, my husband, who would prefer I drove a tank, feels that the Grand Cherokee is a perfect happy-medium. Not to big, not to small, sturdy, super safe and he said I look good in it!! Third, we were not just being sold a car; we felt that we were buying into a car dealership that respects and treats it's clients not as dollar signs but as "friends" they want to keep around for the long haul. The actual purchase process was so easy!! The finance manager, Mark, explained everything in detail, offered extended warranty, GAP insurance, and LowJack, respected my decisions and BAM!! I often check on companies reviews before I do business with them, I thought I check on this dealership as well as I needed to bring our Town and Country for warranty repair. Like others before me that have provided their thoughts on the services they received the reason why I brought my vehicle there regardless of the reviews is because it has the Chrysler Warranty so I felt I had no choice. I was a bit shock to see the negative feedback that has been left on this site about the services they provide, yet, I for one have had a good experience with them even though my Van has been at their shop longer than expected. I think that communication is the key, if you are dissatisfied you should voice your concern and allow the other party to make amends or rectified the issue. In my case, we bought a Town and Country because a specific nee we have so it was great to see that Jeremy Lane offer to call the rental place and see that we were provided the same vehicle which to us as meant we could continue waiting on the repair without sacrificing our level of comfort and were able to do all the things we needed with the Town and Country we have as a rental, and yes you heard me correctly as of today our vehicle has been there for over a week now. But because of communication I understand the reason why. I would say, if you are not satisfied let Khalid Mahmoud know as he is the Service manager at the site and I am sure that he will see that it is taken care of. I am confident that my vehicle will be fixed to my satisfaction otherwise I would be reaching out to both Khalid and Jeremy. In all, I just think that each interaction should be judged by your own experience; like anything else you should express your thoughts to the company you are doing business with so that you both can have the right expectations. I bought my 2015 Ram 2500 Laramie 6.7 diesel in August of 2015. Last week, thankfully, El Niño brought our Valley the much needed rain we need. The rain also brought to the surface a defect my truck has. Rainwater leaked into the cab of my truck and damaged my rear seats. Only 7 thousand miles on my truck!!! My daughter was sitting in her car seat and got soaked as we were driving!!! I work nights and come across a lot of people. A lot of people that were considering a similar truck were told of my truck's issue and wanted to know what the dealer was going to do to make this wrong, right. After little sleep and stress, I drove to the Turlock dealership which is closest to my home in Los Banos hoping they would immediately address my truck's problem. I was completely blown off and told by their service manager to take the truck where I purchased it from. I drove away extremely disappointed and swore I would never purchase a vehicle from the Turlock Dodge dealer. I also told my friends what had happened and they couldn't believe Turlock Dodge treated my situation like they did. Word of mouth spreads! I then drove my truck to the Clovis Dodge dealer. Service Manager Khalid Mahmoud was very impressive! Mr. Mahmoud understood my truck's issues and made me feel confident that the water leak would get fixed and apologized for the other dealer's lack of attention and professionalism. He listened, gave honest answers and took corrective action to fixing my truck. Mr. Mahmoud needs a raise in my opinion and is the only reason I'd consider buying another Ram here in the Valley. read more

A little late but just hopped on this yelping wagon! First off I walked into Clovis Chrysler after walking off so many dealerships looking for an SUV. I'll tell you my first experience with Clovis Chrylser was not great. I worked with a salesman named Art and he was very rude and made it seem like he knew everything. The jeep I wanted to trade in, he assumed it still had my Missouri tags on in which I informed him it was not. That made me walk out. I was really set on a jeep grand Cheeroke with the details I told my fiancé I wanted. A few days later I kind of stopped looking around town and was going to go down south for a vehicle when my fiancé's classmate Silver, mentioned her boyfriend Chase worked there and that he can help. We explained to Silver about the experience we had with the salesman Art and she apologized and insists that Chase can assist us and can answer all the questions we had and most likely get us what we wanted. Me and my fiancé we're both reluctant and did not want to go back to Clovis Chrysler because of the other salesman we worked with. So Silver actually plucked me and fiancé out of class and we followed her there and she introduced us to Chase. I'm really glad she did because I walked out within a few hours with my dream car. He was great! He was nice and answered all the questions we had. And his girlfriend is a sweetheart and could really sell me a car! So this goes out to her too! WORST car buying experience EVER !!! Smug, rude, Insistent, pushy, salesmen even told me to "get my keys and leave" and if I ever came back ask for a different salesman. He said I wasn't "ready to commit" and called me a "liar" then to "prove his point" he walked out to the truck and essentially rubbed the papers in my face saying how good of a deal this was . I don't doubt that it was a great deal but sorry man I didn't want to impulse buy your $40,000 truck and I was only there looking for information to see if I even wanted to put a truck like that on my list of options wanted to sleep on it and compare with others in its class .. I felt completely embarrassed and ashamed with the way I was talked down to. I even had to leave out the side door and sneak to my car so I wouldn't have to walk back through the main show room. MOST embarrassing and WORST car buying experience EVER ! Now I'm not some crazy random guy and speaking from my butt , I gave it a 2 star because I do understand that one salesman having a bad day shouldn't be the judge of entire company . And to my understanding he was the owners son but regardless of that fact I was still a customer looking for information and potentially buy a new truck and would appreciate not being talked down to during what should be a fun exciting experience. read more

This location is definitely out of my way compared to their sister location down ways but hands down I would travel the extra miles just for the customer service I was given here. I brought my jeep here after calling them and asking about how to handle a warranty issue I was having with my car. I was given a chance to give them a time that would fit my needs which made them flexible for me. I took my jeep in and after several attempts they were able to duplicate an issue I was having which the other location just seemed to not want to deal with. Right away I felt better just knowing that I wasn't crazy and making up the issues I was having. My warranty replacements were taken care of hassle-free and I was taken care of just as they promised. I was reassured several times that if I have any concerns from that point on that I could call them at any time and they would be more than happy to help me out. That is what I call customer service. khalid and Erik were the ones who assisted me in the service department and I can't stress enough how much help they have been for me. I have come back again for maintenance and each and every time I am treated with respect and patience. There isn't much more that I can ask from a service department. read more

Recently bought two newer cars and had completely different experiences at different dealerships. Car one went in the shop for a suspension issue. Upon calling the dealership, I heard phrases like, "You brought it here?" and "I can't seem to find it. Please call back while I go look." Completely unacceptable. Car number 2 was a Chrysler Town and Country that I purchased from Clovis Chrysler. We got a fantastic deal on an offer that I felt was completely Ludacris. Anyhow, the van recently had a major electrical breakdown. We were out of warranty by miles and time. I dropped the car off with a tow truck and called the next day to inquire. When I asked about my van I was responded to with, "Oh, the one that won't start?" Quite a difference from dealership #1. The service manager, I think his name is Collin, explained to us the repair and the cost almost made me pass out. However, after putting us on hold he came back on and informed us that the dealership was going to split the cost with us 50/50. WHAT!?!! Now this is what I call fantastic customer service. So far. all of my dealings with this dealership have been the upmost of professional and fair. I would highly recommend. read more

I purchased a new, 2013 Jeep Wrangler, Sport from this dealership one year ago. In that time, I have had regular service performed on the vehicle with excellent results. The vehicle is always returned with the requested work completed and without greasy or oily residue on the hood and in the engine compartment. I had one warranty issue that we (Service Writer, mechanic and I) worked through to a successful conclusion. The issues was a difficult item to diagnose, but once done, the parts were ordered, received in a timely manner and installed correctly in order to return the vehicle to me as soon as possible Many thanks for the outstanding commitment to customer service and satisfaction shown by Jeremy. Had electrical issues (a lot of little problems, nothing major) and 2 recalls on my wife's 2018 Ram 1500. Waited until it needed an oil change then made an appointment and brought it in for everything. Worked with service advisor David Garver who kept me posted on the progress and diagnosis. Turned out not everything could be solved in one day so I picked it back up for the weekend and then arranged to take it back the following week. David let me know that it would most likely take a couple days and I told him it was our family car (3 kids, 5yrs and younger). He made arrangements for me to be picked up by enterprise and they got us a van that could fit all the car seats. The work got taken care or, and everything was covered by warranty. They even covered the rental car. David was absolutely a pleasure to work with. I appreciate that Clovis Chrysler dodge jeep ram understands what good customer service looks like and then empowers their employees to see that service through to completion. This was by far the best truck buying experience ever! And, I live 200 miles from the dealership....in Lincoln, CA. I found the truck I wanted online, and worked with Chase over the phone to settle on an amazing price, and to make arrangements for signing all the paperwork and picking up the truck. Chase was clearly the best car salesman I have ever met.....and at 63 years old I have purchased at least 20 new cars over the years. Very easy to talk to, user friendly, a real no BS guy that gives you the best price possible. Once we agreed on the deal, we drove to Clovis the next day to sign paperwork and pick up the vehicle. When we arrived, pretty much everything was ready to sign. Chase also arranged to have a finance guy ready and waiting to meet with us to complete the transaction. The finance guy, Ralph, was efficient, polite, and obviously very experienced. Overall, we were out the door and back on the road with our 2017 Ram 1500 in less than one hour. Pretty amazing. Basically this dealership is a joke, they treat people like they are stupid. I have been the car business for many years, and have been warned about working with the owners of this dealership as well as the one in Fresno, and I should have listened. The owner not only gave me a bogus offer on my trade, but he also talked down on management at other dealerships if you have to talk bad about other dealerships to make yourself look superior I think we have a problem. They also called me a liar about the cost of another car I had financed too...basically my thought is they wont be in Clovis for long, just because you wear jeans and boots on Fridays, play country music and have Clovis branded EVERYWHERE does not mean the people of Clovis are going to like you, no one here likes to be lied to or belittled...If I ever need a Chrysler product I am forced now to go to Selma where they are a bunch of uneducated people! read more

Roy in the service dept who I worked with today was awesome! Roy met me with a smile, and after taking down what I wanted to get done shook my hand and told me we will get it done for you and he did. Suzie and DeeDee were super friendly and helpful as well. I just got my truck back and couldn't be happier and I will keep going back for the great service and friendly folks that work there. I purchased my 2014 Ram 2500 in November of 2013. Being an auto technician myself I tend to have a little more patience than most. Everyone makes mistakes and no one is perfect. I have been bringing my vehicle in for service as well as warranty issues since the day I made the purchase. I have had my issues with previous service writers. I tend to deal with Miguel because he does an amazing job and does not over promise. Nor does he fail to communicate. Recently I had the pleasure of Lindsy Paris and Armen taking care of my vehicle issues. Lindsy has been very tentative, professional and has communicated very well during my vehicles visits. Armen was very eager to please and full of energy. My short interaction with him was better than many of the previous service writers. read more

Ever since then I been bringing my Jeep in for services. Currently I had called for an Oil changed came to find out my one year of free oil changes had expired on June 30, 2016. However, I spoke to Angelo the manger on site he did his magic and was able to honor the expired warranty. Same day service which was great. I know in the future I will continue to bring Jeep in for services. The outstanding commitment of Angelo and his staff has proven that they do provide great services and care for customer loyalty. For one, make sure you have amazing credit when you come to this dealership. And make sure you do not go alone because they can talk really nice like a best friend. Now I traded in my Jeep for a 2019 Ford. The Ford has low mileage and in great shape from the outside. I got this SUV in late August. Not even a week ago it completely shut off on me. Not even the hazard lights came on. I only have roadside assistance. And it does not have warranty, I called talked the financing and there's nothing they can do. I took it to my mechanic and they checked the oil, it's Black. And now it glitch on me and turned off again. When pressed again on the ignition it turned on. The crazy part it went in reverse while in drive. This case is now turning into a nightmare. read more

A kind man with an efficient, "no nonsense" attitude, and punitive stare, Bobby will ensure that he does everything he can for you, often going above the call of duty. The manager, Khalid, will also give extra help anywhere he can. I can't say enough about Bobby and his help with my car. Whether it was my battery dying and needing a replacement, new tires, or a flat tire that needed patching, he got it done every time. Both Bobby's directness and efficiency are qualities I greatly appreciate, especially in a societal time of whining, rude behavior, and euphemism. read more
