This is regarding the service dept, and it looks like I'm not the only person that has the same feelings. Our experience started out with making an appt on-line, which was accepted and booked for 7am on 12/24. My husband went to drop off his truck and there was a note on the door saying that they were closed for service that day. My husband had arranged his work schedule around this appt., so had to come home and re-book. This could have been avoided by just blocking out that date for appointments. He then booked an appt for Friday 12/28. On the information sheet he indicated that his truck had a recall for an air bag issue, we needed his brakes checked out and probably a brake job, and an oil change. He took his truck in at 7:40 on Friday morning. He did not hear back from the dealership after leaving numerous messages for Lindsey his Service Advisor, so he had to call them in the afternoon. He was told that they did not have any brake pads for his Dodge truck (what??? we are at a Dodge dealership and they don't have Dodge brake pads?) and they would have to call around and try to find them. Very late in the day he was contacted (after leaving numerous messages AGAIN with no return phone calls) and told that they did find some, but they would have to keep his truck until Saturday, but the truck would be fixed by Saturday afternoon. On Saturday afternoon he was told that they DID NOT get the brake pads, they also did NOT replace the air bags, but they DID do the oil change. They would have to keep his truck until Monday. Again my husband had to rearrange his work schedule. On Monday he waited until the afternoon, and started leaving messages again. He was finally told that his truck would be ready around 5. When we picked up the truck we got to stand around while Lindsey typed up his invoice, and was told that they could not replace one of the air bags due to a faulty replacement, and that he would have to bring the truck back for that. We went over to pay the cashier and when asked if we got the discount for the coupon that was given to Lindsey on Day 1, they acted like it was a big imposition to check on that for us. And NO, we were not originally given the discount. So the bill had to be revised, and it reflected a little over $100 discount. I typically like to take my vehicles to the dealership because I feel like they work on their models all the time so they should be the best equipped to fix the cars. My main complaints here were #1) total lack of communication and follow up, #2) not valuing my husband's time, #3) a Dodge dealership not having basic Dodge parts (brake pads), and #4) not making sure that they had at least applied their coupon to our rather expensive repair bill and then acting irritated about it. I do not think that we will be back to this dealership for any future service needs. read more

Sara, The same exact thing happened to my wife and me. We ended up getting a call from Curt, I believe he works side by side with Chase. Curt declined to sell us the Jeep Grand Cherokee we wanted because I wouldn't come in and run numbers. I told him its a bit hard to come in and talk numbers when we have a newborn, he wasn't having that. This was all after I told him all I want to know is if we can get the amount we want for our trade-in (this was after they appraised the vehicle) and get to the monthly payment we want. Curt was extremely rude and I would never refer anyone to this dealership. My second time going in to look for a truck first time I went to offer a trade in knowing I wouldn't get what the truck worth, but they only offered half of what they where going to sell it for (20k plus different) and so I got up and walk out telling them was a slap in face. Then I returned today to look and they had a truck posted online with pictures and all for a really good price and when I ask about it the sales man instantly blew up and said no that's not right at all there no way and got all bent out of shape real quick. Then I told him that's fine, but I still want you to see the ad so I showed it to him and he straight up tells me oh well it don't matter you would have to pay 2k more cause you don't qualify for certain rebates. The thing is to that he barely just got my name and tells me I don't qualify and you gotta be military or this and that. Which his guess was right I am not military, but it pissed me off cause what if he had said that to a veteran then what would he had said. That is very disrespectful to speak that way and assume with out getting to know the customer. Then to top it off he said the picture was posted before they added extras, but I was trying to explain it was was the exact truck in pictures nothing had changed and that if it was a screw up it fine, but he was more interested in trying to treat me like I am dumb. Then after I left someone went back online and added in fine print notes using capital letters that there is a price add on for all extras to the price displayed which you know they rushed to add it do the spelling errors.... I felt bewildered do that fact they made a mistake and that is just ignorant to act way the salesmen did I just tried to let him know it was a misleading way to get someone to the dealership and that I wasn't there to try and get it at that price. I just wanted to see the truck and that I was interested if that price online was correct. Will never buy a car or have anything to do with a company like this I like when ppl are straight forward and least honest at first. He understood why we were unhappy and apologized. We said we would not be bringing our car back for service there and that we are seriously considering buying a new car but definitely not from them. If I could give this zero stars I would. Made an appointment 3 weeks ago to get my oil changed and check on a leak and rattling noise. Have been told numerous times "it needs a part that we don't have in stock." They replaced things and it still didn't fix the problem. I was told Friday that they would rediagnose it..its now a week later and not one phone call and I doubt they have even looked at. Lack of communication and these people have no idea what the hell they are doing. The ONLY reason its still there is because it's under the one year warranty. Otherwise I would have taken it somewhere else 2 weeks ago. Who knows when I will get my vehicle back. To whom it concerns, On Feb 22 I rolled over a rock and had my car towed to your facility. Filling out my paper work I dropped my keys into the drop box. Monday morning I called to make sure everything was found and to see when I could get some information on how long the repairs would take. The lack of communication by the technician Eric, is some of the worst I have ever dealt with. I never received a call unless I called first, took 3 days for my car to be looked at and I am currently been without my car for 2 weeks. How can the dealership with a distribution center in southern California not get ANY part to their own vehicles within 24 hours? I was informed by the manager Jeremy that my car would be finished by Monday, Monday evening without any call I was then informed of a 'Shipping' issue and wouldn't be ready for several MORE days. The service that I had received from your dealership was something I was very happy with, after this ordeal I will no longer refer anyone to your dealership let alone your service shop. We were valued Happy Customers that have been treated horribly over something that shouldn't have taken more than 5 business days to complete. I have never had a pleasant experience with Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Clovis but I keep hoping that someday I may. Some things they need to work on are fairly simple to fix. Keep your customers updated on the status of their vehicle. My car was in the shop for a week and a half I had to call three times just to find out what is wrong with my car, the part they need to order and when they estimate it to be complete. And if they tell me they are going to call me by the end of the day I expect to receive that call. That's one of the big problems they would not give me an estimate when my car would be ready, it could be today it could be tomorrow it could be next week. Needless to say again I had to call three times for the status. Every single time I called, the lady at the service department tells me she cannot hear me, really that is annoying. When she would connect me with my service advisor he would appear disturbed that I was calling again. Well if he would keep me posted I wouldn't have to call. You would also think that the courtesy ride would be available all day instead of it cutting off at 2 p.m. when i asked for a ride it came across like so sorry you're out of luck figure it out. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. Five months ago the Bluetooth in my truck stopped working and wouldn't pare any phones. Everything else on the radio still worked. I took it into Clovis Ram and they immediately tried to blame the issue on aftermarket subs I have. Which were professionally installed and wired using the existing factory sub wires. It was obvious that wasn't the issue but I jumped through their hoops and I took the truck back to the audio shop where they were installed and had them double check their work. They found nothing wrong and even pulled the radio and showed me that the Bluetooth was built into the radio. I know other people that have had this issue and the radio had to be replaced in all of those cases. I took the truck back to Clovis ram and tried telling them to look into the possibility of replacing the radio. In total it took them well over two months to determine that it was I fact the radio that need to be replaced. Of course the radio was back ordered and would take four to five weeks to come in. I called them after five weeks and the radio had come in and I never got a call. I dropped my truck off to get the radio replaced and when I picked it the radio was totally black and had no power to it. I never left the lot and had them get right on fixing because I really needed my truck. After waiting an hour and a half they told me that the new radio was completely dead and needed to be replaced. They said it would take over a month to get a new one. I attend college out of state and left a few days after I picked it up. So they told me that there was nothing they could do and they refused to give any compensation or refund for wasting my time over four months and giving my truck back to me in worse condition then I dropped it off in. read more

Curt, Nate and Tom... probably nice personally, but they pretty much conducted themselves like scammers. The worst experience in a dealership I have ever had. Disrespectful, shady, and they flat out lied to extract every penny out of me. They offered me $4,000 under the kbb "dealer trade in" amount for my trade in (which I bought *there* 4 years ago) and then talked my Dodge car down. They all had different numbers and tried to jack my pre-approved credit union rate up an extra 1% and wanted me to pay $200/mo more than what it should have been. They seemed desperate to make a killing off me, and then when I wanted to leave, played the "we don't know where your keys are" game. I then continued a dialogue over text message and the lying continued. I have purchased 3 cars at this dealership but I will NEVER set foot in there again. Yesterday we went to take our Grand Cherokee to get it serviced. Made an appointment last week for 9:40a.m. Drove over an hour to get there. Left the car so it can be serviced. 7 hours later had to call to see if car was ready. To be told they hadn't gotten to it!! What is the purpose of an appointment! THEY WERE BACKED UP!! What!! No excuse! No phone call! We have bought 2 cars from here. Done all are car services here. NOT ANYMORE!! Offered us a rent a car. No thanks! Don't want to get in a strange car with COVID-19. Lost a day of work. But most of all my husband got a call back today from an irritated service manager. Probably upset because I let the general manager know this morning. The way the service department is ran at this location is piss poor. I have taken a work vehicle which is a RAM 2500 there several times, an oil change can take several hours sometimes even days. It seems like the owners of Clovis location only care about there sales department. I set up an appointment for Saturday for an oil change and to check rear brakes 8:30 AM and did not get my vehicle back until 2 PM, again this was for an oil change and just to check rear brakes. I also asked them to ensure they would grease front drive shaft (you may have seen this sticker, under the hood to the right when you open hood). I picked up vehicle and asked mechanic if he grease front drive shaft. He told me NO and didn't KNOW anything about it. He took the vehicle back into the the shop area and took about 15 minutes and then came back and told me him and another mechanic looked for nipple where they would be able to put the grease at and they were not able to find it. I was not happy and just drove off. I also set up an appointment for the upcoming Thursday to get rear brakes done, which they ordered the parts in advance because I let them know I needed vehicle right away. I feel like this is the best practice to bring in your vehicle to this dealership. I dropped off vehicle on appointment day and again asked to have someone that was more qualified to look for grease point for front drive shaft, which again specifies to grease FRONT DRIVE SHAFT at every oil change on sticker under hood. I was hoping since I had scheduled an appointment and had parts ordered for vehicle that I would have received car back sooner. I had to call and ask what the ETA on vehicle was and was told that vehicle would be done an about an hour. And also was told that the grease point on front drive line of RAM 2500 my vehicle was not put in this model of RAM 2500 diesel, RAM just put the stickers on every diesel that suggest to grease front drive shaft at every oil change, just because. I could not believe what I heard. Next day I jack up driver side and proceed to investigate front drive shaft where sticker suggest to look, I ended up finding grease point that had been covered with dirt and just normal build up. I ended up buying what I needed at local automative parts store 31 dollars and greased front drive shaft myself. Again horrible service, looking forward to what these yahoos say to me on this review I have just posted. Just hope other customers take the time to read this and do not get this issue over looked. Wish they would get a better service manager in this location. Mechanics should be ashamed of wearing MOPAR shop jumpsuits. read more

I was a first time new car buyer until yesterday. I left another dealer unhappy with the custommer service but when I arrived here, Curt made the entire experience, extremely positive. Not only did he know all the in's and out's of the Jeep Cherokee 2016 Sport, he gave me background information on the model, and details on the variations of the Cherokee. I felt like I was with an expert, because Curt is an expert. I would strongly recommend Clovis Jeep to anyone inquiring in Jeeps! After the test drive I was 100% sold. We negotiated a price, interest rate and payment plan that is suitable to my finances and were then helped by Rafael. (Another amazing experience with the purchase.) Rafael was clear in explanation, did not do any hard sales job on the extras of buying the Jeep and was very funny! These two individual made buying my Jeep, stress-free, enjoyable, informative and exciting. Needless to say we bought the Jeep on the same day. Hands down one of the absolute worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Literally left in tears after my first visit to this location. Was looking into purchasing a gently used vehicle for about a couple of weeks and had visited several dealerships throughout Clovis and Fresno. I had arrived on a Thursday evening toward the end of December 2014 at this dealership just to look at a car that we had seen online. My boyfriend and I (in our early 20s) were approached by a young, polite salesman who began asking questions about where we were in the "purchasing process" and if we'd like to test drive. I agreed to test drive but said I'd only purchase the car if they could give it to me for under $20,000 out the door (OTD) and after I hear back from my bank about my pre-approved loan (I was set to hear back from my bank the following morning). Even though I did not go there with the intention of purchasing the car right away, it was an amazingly well kept car, so I agreed that I would come inside to discuss my options. As I had already applied for a loan through my bank, I allowed the dealership to run my credit. The young salesman and another salesman, Chase, came back with a piece of paper that read "$18,700 OTD" in bold writing followed by a very high interest rate and a monthly payment well above what I had indicated was appropriate for my budget. I was confused by these numbers as they didn't seem to add up - I called my mother who assured me there was no way these numbers made sense. I was wowed at the OTD price which seemed to be more than $1,000 less than what I had originally asked for, but I couldn't make sense of the monthly payment being so high. We began negotiating lower monthly payments until my boyfriend and I finally realized they were referring to "OTD" as the out the door amount I'd be financing IN ADDITION to my down payment, taxes, and fees. After dealing with several dealerships before this, I was shocked at their definition of "OTD" and felt as though they were being dishonest and attempting to take advantage of the fact that we were younger customers. Our discussion lasted nearly three hours, and throughout the entire process, I genuinely thanked Chase and the other salesman for their patience, understanding, and willingness to coordinate with their "finance department" as it was my first time purchasing a car on my own, and I had A LOT of questions and required explanations for several aspects of the process including remaining within my initial budget. But not once did they respond with "you're welcome", "my pleasure", or any other polite phrase to assure me that my best interest was their end goal. At one point during our conversation, Chase accusingly said, "Three other customers have purchased cars and left in the time that you've been in here talking with us." Each time Chase and/or the other salesman came back with an offer (with a lower interest rate and/or monthly payment to get closer to my budgeted monthly payment), I would make a call to my mother for advice and guidance. As I was contemplating whether or not to accept an offer, Chase condescendingly said, "Oh, I thought you were the one purchasing the car. I didn't know you had to ask permission." I explained I was only seeking guidance as I am inexperienced car buyer. I continued receiving demeaning and rude remarks like this throughout the entire conversation which made me feel VERY uneasy about purchasing from this dealership. Toward the end of the experience, Chase came out of the finance department with a final offer on a piece of paper that read, "$20,700 OTD TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. I DON'T LIKE GAMES" written in capitalized, bold letters that took up an entire piece of letter paper. As this was only $700 above my initial budget, I was pleased with the offer. However, I noticed the absurd remark written by someone in the "finance department" and could not believe the utter disrespect I was receiving from people who are supposed professionals and customer service representatives. I guess they didn't consider that they were the ones playing games as my "Out the Door" budget and monthly payment remained unchanged throughout the entire process, yet they were offering me amounts so much higher that they knew I was unable to accept. After receiving this message from a representative of their company, I knew I couldn't make the purchase that night and promptly left. A couple of weeks later, and after much contemplation and research, I decided to go back to try and purchase the car with a set, firm price from which I did not budge. The salesman that assisted me in the purchase was very understanding and accommodating as I had explained my prior experience with the dealership and my hesitation to do business with them. I wished more than anything that I could have purchased the car from another dealership. On a positive note, I am VERY happy with my vehicle but will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

Came into this dealership as a first time buyer. I had some bad experiences at used car dealers and contacted them about a 2013 Chevy Cruze I was interested in. Curt followed up with me promptly and we scheduled an appointment to see the vehicle. I worked with Chase as Curt was busy at the moment but he picked up with the same great customer service where Curt left off. He was very informative and if he didn't now something he found out quickly. The entire purchasing experience was so smooth working with them. No high pressure and pleasant experience all the way around. I was out of the dealer in less than 2 hours with my new car. My wife and I made the trip down to Clovis Dodge from Sacramento, Ca. to purchase a RAM truck. I had a few conversations with Curt through email and on the phone before we decided to make the trip. Upon arrival my wife and I walked the lot and looked at different colors and options and decided on a 1500 Laramie. I called Curt and told him we were on the lot and wanted to test drive a truck. He came out to greet us and introduce us to Miguel Chavez who would be assisting us in our purchase. We wanted a truck that we previously seen on their website but it was already purchased by another out of town customer. We were not discouraged, Clovis Dodge had a huge selection of Laramie's and we found one that had everything we wanted and was $200 cheaper. We had a trade in that we got a fair deal on. Miguel was honest, forthcoming and our experience with him was on point. I can be a little aggressive when it comes to haggling, but my wife and I came away with a deal that we thought was fair. We like to thank Miguel for his professionalism and his customer service. Even after the deal was done, Miguel went the extra mile to hook up our phones to the UConnect, explain all the trucks functions and was genuinely involved in making our experience pleasurable. If you're looking for a great deal on a Ram truck, give Clovis Dodge website a look and give Curt a Call. Be informed, all vehicles on the Clovis Dodge lot have SWAT installed and is an added cost on top of the stated internet price. SWAT is a device that is comparable to low jack and will locate your vehicle anywhere in North America if stolen. I expressed my dismay that this cost was not included in their internet price. Overall, we had great experience and would recommend Clovis Dodge when shopping for a new car. read more

PLEASE READ I set an appointment to their convenience at 8am the day they chose. I took my car in to have my tires rotated, and my passenger airbag sensor checked, my tail light was rattling, and finally my air conditioner need to be cleaned due to smell. They said my car would be done around 2pm and I would be notified by a call to my cell phone. It was 4pm and no call so I proceeded to call the dealership front desk, she notified that they were still checking my car out so i just let it go, she said i would receive a call shortly. 6pm rolls around and thats when their service department closes so I called again. The most upsetting part was they were just going to keep my car over night WITHOUT notifying me. I was notified that they need to order a part for my passenger seat to fix the sensor, and then i was notified that nothing else was done on my car but all problems were "diagnosed". So for 10 hours nothing was done to my vehicle that was supposed to by the time that they were clear for. I was notified that when the part comes in they will finish all the actions at once? And the final cherry on top is when I got home after my car getting no work done, to find a great big door ding in my passenger side door. This service infuriates me to the point where I most likely won't return in the future. I now have to go to the dealership tomorrow to prove the door ding that was done on their lot during their "care". Then ill have to return again to have the work done that should have been done today. My advice would have been the first time I came in to set up an appointment they diagnose my car then so I don't have to go to their dealership for a week everyday. This is just so upsetting that this happens to the car that i work hard to take care of. read more

I will never go back to this dealership. My boyfriend and I went in looking to buy or lease a new car for me and wanted to talk numbers. I told the salesperson, I believe his name was Chase, that I had money to put down and had an idea in my head of what I wanted to pay per month and wanted to see if they had any deals that came close. My mom is going to sign it with me because she has better credit than I do and the guy told me that I should just come back with my mom because they can't help until then. I know darn well he could've given us rough numbers of what monthly payments would be without looking at credit because other dealerships have. He told us he would have to run our credit to even begin telling us deals but I should just come back when I'm actually ready to buy, and that if I want numbers I can go on their website. When I questioned whether he was even taking me seriously or not, he told me that they'll take me serious when I'm actually ready to buy. At that point, I was ready to leave because I knew I wasn't being treated fairly or respectfully. So as we were walking out and telling him that all we wanted was a rough number, he then tried back pedaling saying we could go in a room and look up numbers and that we weren't trusting him as a salesperson. My dad was a sales manager and my boyfriend is a business owner so we know how sales are, there is always room to budge with the numbers. I had just wanted to hear any deals they had going on. When my boyfriend told him that he was a business owner and that he is familiar with how sales are, the salesperson started telling us he owns a business in Missouri and owns five houses.. as if he was trying to compete with us? I told him when I was ready to buy a new car in the next day or two that we would not be returning to their dealership, his response, yes please don't ever come back.. yelling. He literally was yelling at us in the parking lot. I have never felt so disrespected and mortified in my life. I don't know if he was having a bad day or didn't take us seriously or we rubbed him the wrong way, but I have also worked in sales and I know you never treat a customer the way he treated us. I am not an impulse buyer, I look around beforehand. I like knowing numbers and deals before purchasing. If they're not willing to help us out with that, than they don't deserve our business at the time we are ready to buy. read more

When I bought my car from here the staff was amazing Adrian worked nearly 3 days with the finance department to make sure I was getting the car I wanted at the price that was Right for me he really did an awesome job and always kept me informed. But I must admit the first 2 times I had to deal with the service department I was less than satisfied, that is until I got into contact with the service manager Khalid. At the end he said whatever he had to say to make the sale and promised the extended warranty for free in the asking price . I was first a little skeptical becuase it was black friday weekend and everyone seemed to busy to find time to help me out..I went back the next day and one of the guys took the time to explain more in detail and let me drove the vehicle. I really wanted a black jeep and they could only get white. Chase went out of his way to get me the one I really wanted and also after made sure that I even got to take the car home even though they had to go pick it up at another dealer! They gave us an awesome deal on the jeep we wanted and didn't pressure us at any point. We left the dealer 4 times over a week and never once did we feel like we "had" to stay or agree to anything. Sadly I am disappointed with the service received at this dealership. I bought a new Jeep and at first received great response and service when inquiring to look at the vehicle. I was set up to take a look at the Jeep on my lunch which was awesome and I got right in and out. After going back once off work to purchase it, the pleasant experience seemed to slightly decline. Then, after two months and a road trip in the new vehicle I discovered it was not the best fit for my family so I returned thinking I would be valued as a customer since I did purchase a new vehicle. I expressed my concerns and numbers were looked at but there was nothing on the lot that was working out with what I had. I was told that cars come in daily and I would receive communication when something came in that was in our range to work with. This is when It became apparent that the service is not great. Weeks have gone by and I have not heard once heard from the dealership. It's unfortunate to be driving around in a vehicle you are discontent with, trying to sell private party, because there has been no returned contact. We just purchased a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi. Everyone we came in contact with was very attentive and friendly. Even the salespeople that were not ours were extremely helpful. Our salesman, Captain Jack, was especially knowledgeable. It really surprised us how much he knew about the details of the vehicles. The Used Car Manager was also very friendly and always with a smile on his face. We especially liked the Finance Manager and how throughly he explained the paperwork. Everyone made the transaction easy for us. Captain Jack was our favorite and when we're ready to buy again, we will definitely check in with him. He didn't act like a typical salesman. I bought a new car on Sunday. It was covered in bird poop and rain spots. I was told to bring it in the following day and they would detail it for me. So I drive across town back to the dealership the next day only to find out I need to schedule an appointment. They wouldn't even do a quick car wash. They were so nice when I was purchasing the car but once all papers were signed they all of a sudden couldn't be bothered to help me. read more

Avoid internet salesman Nate or Curt. Both are very pushy for their customers to go in and test drive the vehicles when clearly you know it's a waste of time since the price was outrageous. Tried to sell me a used car at the same price as a BRAND new one. Do your research first before heading out to this dealership, they will rob you of every penny if you're not cautious. As soon as I decline their offer to go in, they told me the car was in the process of being sold. Management needs to get better salesman if they want more customers read more
