So we came out to Clovis to look at a 2019 Dodge Ram. We were greeted at the door and worked with the salesman Curt. Test drove the vehicle, but the best part, was the relationship we built with him. This is only for the service portion and not the sales portion. I was able to take my car in after Lithia could not diagnose the problem with my jeep. When I got there, the girl seemed really rude about it and told me she didn't know how long my car was going to take since they are backed up. I was without a car or rental for 2 days. After asking a few questions, she went somewhere else so I had another guy help me. On Friday, I got a text stating "we want to let you know that your car is ready for pickup! Service hours: Mon-Fri 7AM-6PM. Sat 7:30AM - 4:30 PM. MATTHEW." and another text stating "you will get a text that is automated saying its ready for pick up but i cant release the vehicle until they pay for it, i will let you know when it is ready" so I was confused as to whether or not my vehicle is ready. I called and the girl told me if it says your car is ready, its ready, in a rude manner. I told her I was confused with the texts that were sent. She told me that my car was ready. I picked it up. The guys here were very nice. The girls seemed rude. Either way, they reset the computer on my jeep renegade and my seat works now. I was informed of this through text. I tested my car on the freeway and it doesn't shake anymore when I try to accelerate. Shakes a little bit when stopped though. My seat motors work now. Luckily, it was less expensive than i thought it was. I wish they would have explained more on what they did or called me ahead of time to let me know what they were going to do instead of giving me the bill and just taking it to the cashier. I'm weary when it comes to cars due to being cheated by a craigslist mechanic in 2008. I learned a very expensive lesson and only go to certified mechanics now, but I really would like a little more detail on what was done. Either way, thanks Chrysler! Update: A week after my car was fixed, I noticed it was still shaking. I called and a girl told me she wasn't going to have any openings until a few days later. I told her I shouldn't have to wait a few days because when i brought my car in a week ago, they said it was fixed, but it wasn't and should not have given my car back. The service manager finally gives me his time and tells me to bring my car in. He drives it and realizes that it still shook. He had his employee take care of it because it was not a computer issue like they originally said. They didn't charge me for another diagnostic, rightfully so. The only reason why it's staying a three star review, I have 100 thousand mile warranty on my car and the first time they said my warranty couldn't cover it because it was a computer glitch. The second time, it was because it was fixed on a Saturday and they told me I needed to call myself to get reimbursed. I called the warranty department myself and had such a hard time getting through because I was not a shop, i just cut my losses. read more

Ray came to me first and told me about what they had after telling him what I'm looking to buy next year. Due to circumstances I had my two small dogs with me and was worried it would be awkward having them with me getting an oil change. I was so wrong! It was the total opposite. Our vehicle needed an oil change and tire rotation, we dropped it off early friday morning, was told that it would be done in about an hour and a half, after three hours I called, got transferred to at least four people, trying to get an update on our vehicle. was finally told it was ready. we arrived to find the vehicle backed into a stall in front of the business. I noticed that there was something sitting on the bumper which ended up being the rear camera lens cover, in the meantime, my husband is looking at the tires and he noticed that they had not been changed because he had numbered them before we took it in for service, the spare and been put on the front and the front became the spare.. I walked into the service department and was told I can go to the cashier before even asking what I was there for or even a hello, I said no I would like the rear camera lens put back in place, one guy ran out looked at it and said he needed to get a tool, someone else came back with a tool to put it back in place. My husband then asked about the tire rotation, the guy said it was done, my husband said no because I marked them it was not done, the only thing you did was put the spare on the front. The employee said well sir I don't want to call you a liar but I sit in that booth and I know my guys rotated them. My husband said well maybe they were taken off but they were put back in the same place except for the spare. At this point, we just went to the cashier, the cashier asked was everything ok and sign here, here and here, we said no not everything was ok, so she called the service advisor who came out and said what, my husband said I have an issue about the tire rotation that was not done, he said it was done, I saw all four tires off. My husband said maybe they were removed but they put them back in the same spot. The advisor said well that is what you say and walked away. I got about a mile down the road and the dashboard and alarm went off that a tire was low, it was the tire that had been the spare, now the front left, had 29 psi where the others had 38-39 according to the dashboard, The paperwork said all tires had 36 psi. I came home aired up the tire, my husband checked the tire that was now the spare tire, it had only finger tight lug nuts. Then we noticed the paperwork that said we need a new air filter, no one even talked to us about this. This is very frustrating with very shoddy work done by a dealership. Good thing I am not looking to buy a new car because it definitely would not be from this dealership. I would just like my vehicle to be taken care of as it should. You have lost a customer and hopefully you can lose more customers with people reading this review before they take their vehicle there. read more

So here comes a dealership which brings everything which can possibly be wrong with an automotive dealership Its dealership like this which brings a BAD NAME to entire automotive world I, Myself worked with major automotive companies in their R&D and design but the un-professionalism shown by this dealership have baffled me to my limits So what exactly happens My family has RAM 1500 which is almost 5 months old but have a significant transmission issue, We been to them few times to explain and they told us that they will investigate along with 1st service, They took our truck for 4 days (which impacted my work) and gave us a rental. For 4 days , We were in touch but no update on issue and on 4th day, 45 mins before closure, they called us to come back, We told them that we are outside and we wont be able to reach in time so we went back next day first thing in morning and here's the outcome 1. No issues found by them on transmission but they wont give that in writing 2. On the email communication, We share the details of incident, The person in contact failed and refuse to reply the things they confirm verbally 3. And they have audacity to charge for rental as that truck was ready a day before and they expect customer to just wait for their messages and do make the schedule as per them So in short, No customer service, Lack of acknowledgement, No accountability and worse of all rigid and awful attitude No wonders why US automotive brand have bad image on customer as these dealership make a point to ensure that they rip the customers to core read more

As a recent first-time Jeep owner, this is my first experience with this company. While I have had friends who have related negative experiences with both Jeep companies in town--I know they're owned by the same people--I'll just give MY opinion of this company and sum it up in three words: Helpful, Courteous, Professional. I came here--and I would have to be added to the list of people with bad experiences with the Jeep dealer on Blackstone--because the other Jeep dealer in town wouldn't return my call for an appointment. As others on their Yelp have complained, I got a recording to leave my name and number. I did, waited a week, and after no call back, though that dealer is close to me, I called Clovis Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. I've called the Service Dept. several times-- I always get a live person. So I made an appointment and brought in my Jeep after the dealership on Blackstone never called me back as it has failed to do with others. My experience was easy and enjoyable, and while it took until the end of the day, rather than a couple of hours as the check-in person thought it might (I figured that going in), that was no issue, and I asked them to send the shuttle for me the following morning. This was my first visit, as noted, and I saw on drop-off they would give the car a free inspection, and noting someone complained on Yelp they were charged for an inspection I double checked that it was free, and that was verified. I mentioned that was a nice thing to throw in so I can find out what's wrong with the car, and the counter person laughed, "Upselling." Naturally, anyone would know that, but it was still entertaining, and we both laughed. Had a pleasant drive in the next day with a friendly driver, picked up the vehicle and went home. I now want to speak to the friendliness and honesty of the Service Department on this occasion. My Jeep is over 10 years old, and they were doing non-paying Recall work. They had every reason to get me in and out as quickly as they could, but I feel I was treated as well as any paying customer should expect to be treated. I take care of my car meticulously, but being as it is over 10 years old, it cries out for a company wanting to do some Upselling on work they weren't getting paid for to start with to "find" problems with on a "free" inspection. When I got the inspection sheet back, I certainly expected to see a list of suggested issues I "better take care of." But it was GREEN down the line but for a YELLOW on the air filter, which I knew had a little grime on it but was still fully usable. That was clearly a dead-on, 100% honest assessment of my well-maintained vehicle. They didn't even ding the belt, which would be normal for any inspector wanting to find something wrong to throw out as needing replacement. So the bottom line is, if I ever feel the need to have a dealer do some sort of work on my Jeep, I would have no qualms about giving Clovis Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM a shot. Made an appointment the week prior for a 7:00 am appointment on 1-22-19. Arrived prior and waited till they opened. A couple vehicles pulled up and got into line, so I went inside to make sure I was first since I had an appointment, or so I thought. Female service advisor with short hair and a couple males behind the counter. All ignored me and didn't even say hi. The female advisor grabbed some items and walked past me outside and helped the person that drove up after I had been waiting. Finally some one helped me and I got my truck dropped off for an oil change, recalls and two other problems. Went to wait for the shuttle and noticed something on my paperwork I had a question on. Walked back into the service advisor desk area and saw three employees behind the desk. Again no one said anything to me or even asked if they could help me! So I stood there on purpose saying nothing and stared at them on purpose. I wanted to see how long they could ignore me. I have to say they did a great job at ignoring me! Not only did they not say anything to me, but one walked up to a desk computer closet to me, and looked past me. Another guy actually looked at me, then went back to his computer, ignoring me! I stood there for around 4 minutes until my advisor walked back inside and answered my question that took 5 seconds. Got a ride home and picked up my truck later around 4 that day. Have to go back because they had to order parts, so I'll see if I get the same treatment. read more

I am still sitting here in amazement, looking at my awesome new Challenger SRT that I bought from Chase at this dealership. Prior to reaching out to Chase, I visited 3 Dodge dealerships in California from Elk Grove to Ventura looking for a 2017 SRT. I had consistently horrible experiences at each dealership, one involved me walking out of a deal while in finance because all of the numbers suddenly changed and they wouldn't show me where they were getting the numbers from. I was ready to give up on buying a new car. My desire for the car won and I found 2 more SRTs available and read the dealer reviews on Yelp (thank you, Yelpers) for both dealerships. I saw several mentions for how great Chase at Clovis Chrylser was to work with, and how he was also willing to work via email/phone. This was extremely important to me, as I live almost 200 miles from this dealership. I also had my own financing though my bank, which 2 of the previous dealers made very clear they weren't pleased I wasn't going to finance through them. I texted Chase and expressed my interest in the car. He got right back to me and let me know he was with another customer and would get back to me soon. We negotiated the cost for the car, including finding another rebate that I qualified for, and he came back right away with a very fair price for my trade in. I agreed to the numbers, he gave me an estimated total with taxes and fees, and it was almost an exact match to what I estimated. I told him about my horrible finance experience at the previous dealer and he promised I would not have that experience with them. Ralph from finance called me to verify all the information I had provided via text and email and confirmed all the numbers. I talked to Ralph for 6 minutes. 6 minutes with the finance person!! And all the numbers matched, with no BS! Chase said he was going to be traveling toward my area and would be happy to bring up the car and the papers so I wouldn't have to drive the full 200 miles. So, my husband and I met him and a coworker, Luke. They were both very friendly and enthusiastic about the cars. Chase had my paperwork fully prepared, which was accurate to the dollar of what we talked about. We signed and swapped keys and drove back home. We are absolutely thrilled with the car AND the experience. Next time I'm buying MOPAR, I'll be calling Chase. read more

I just left the Clovis Dodge dealership and I have never written a review so quickly. We just bought my son a used Dodge at another dealership, because he saw it online and fell in love with it. The car didn't come with a front license plate bracket, as a lot of cars don't now. But, it's illegal in CA to drive without it. So we went to Clovis Chrysler Dodge to get the bracket. We fully expected to have to make an appointment for service. When we arrived, we went to the service counter and explained why we were there. He sent me to the parts counter, where we were immediately helped by the nicest woman, who had overheard what we needed over at the service counter. She came outside with us and had a parts employee bring a few brackets out to try, and then had the sweetest technician immediately put the correct one on for us, at no charge! We were literally in and out within 15 minutes. It was the BEST customer service I have ever received at a dealership. Her name was Donna, and it turns out, she is the owner. The people that work there were very nice, which is the only reason I'm giving them 2 stars. Otherwise, they are not very communicative and painfully slow. They had my car for a full 24 hours before even looking at it. The lady in the office promised to call me back to give an update twice, but never called either time. I had to chase them down both times. I gave them a full 24 hours after she said she'd call. The third time I called at 4pm. My car had been finished earlier that morning and no one called to tell me it was done. I know that dealerships are busy, but this is ridiculous. Their phone communication skills are absolutely horrible. I shouldn't have to chase you down to get an update. This is the second time I've taken my car here and had this happen. I brought my truck in at 6:30 knowing they open at 7 in the first come first serve Express lane oil changes. I was the first truck in line. So I thought. The service mechanic got in my truck at 7:14 just to go park it on the lot somewhere. When I asked him if it was done he just laughed and said nope. They pulled my truck out of the way to service 2 other vehicles like I wasnt standing there waiting. I will NEVER use clovis dodge again and to be honest if you have a 2500 and need fuel filters changed take it to Haddad in Bakersfield, they charge $150 while clovis charges $379. The service manager Kalied has zero integrity. He lied about the recall work that needed to be done and how I wanted handled. Long story short, I wanted Dodge to buy my truck back as this was an option available to me due to the recall. However thanks to Kalid's ignorance and lack of integrity that option was taken off the table. I didn't even get the gift card I was supposed to get. However Roy my service advisor was great. Needless to say I will never go back to Clovis Dodge. Additionally because of clovis Dodge's service Manager, Kahlid, they will forever miss out on me and my brand loyalty. Please see my post regarding my positive experiences at Fresno Dodge. Granted I know they are owned by the same family but they are run some what independent of each other. With that Said, I would have never bought my 2016 Charger and 2016 Ram from Clovis Dodge due to Kahlid (it should be obvious by now I don't care enough about him to figure out how to spell his name correctly). They don't even deserve one star. I came to look at the Jeep Grand Cherokee's-a $50,000 vehicle. I left extremely upset by the way I was treated by the salesman. Even though they had the exact Grand Cherokee I wanted, I refuse to give that much business to someone who was disrespectful to me. I ended up purchasing a Jeep Grand Cherokee from the MY JEEP dealership in salinas, which I HIGHLY recommend. EXCELLENT customer service. I gave this dealership a second shot and came back when it was time to service the jeep for the first time and was again disappointed by the service/parts department. It is unfortunate that I cannot get good service from a dealership that is in my backyard and have to travel hours to find respectful and helpful serviceman. I see all the reviews here a from men, that probably because the rude little cheerleader they have up front helps men before she will rudely acknowledge a paying female customer. I brought my Chrysler there several times, one time they kept it for a week and didn't fix 2 of my 3 problems. The radio not connecting to my blue tooth devices was just my imagination because it connected just fine to the service techs phones. The sound I hear was not there it again was just my imagination. Thankfully the service dept at Selma Chrysler was able to hear and fix the front end noise and resolve the radio issue! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!! I know I'm not the center of the universe and that things take time regardless of the situation espically with COVID-19 so I get it. THAT BEING SAID. These guys really went out of there way to LIE and CHARGE me for un-necessary things. It started 11th of June when I had a check engine light come on and I was 2 minutes away from the dealership and instead of letting me drop it off which was about 45 mins before closing they gave me a horrible nonchalant answer and I was told to bring it back the next day. I dropped off my vehicle on the 12th of June and they told me that they were 2 weeks behind, which is pretty typical to hear from smaller dealerships. THEY OFFERED ME NO WAY of getting a Rental from them, they said I could pay for it outright and get reheimbursed for it but, I said okay.. I can try to see about that getting one and when I asked where they have they're rentals I was told they could NOT give me one, and it was just excuse after excuse about how they couldn't give me a rental... I said I'm in the military and I'm on leave I dont have the luxury of time and I'm trying to visit my family in San Jose... Basically what I got from them was it was a ME problem... Which it technically was.. but you couldn't even help me CORRIDATE one!?!? Outrageous Anyways I told them I just purchased this car back memorial day weekend, I just want you to run a code and check to see what the issue was FIRST because I'm only on leave for 3 weeks and I drove 2,200 miles to get to California. By June 16th I finally had them call me after telling me they think the problem is internal in the engine (they did not know I took it to autozone before getting there and running a code) I already knew what the issue was and I even told there service manager that. Anyways by Wednesday they called me and told me that they think it was internal and that they already replaced components to "fix the issue" I asked there Mechanics if they ran codes yet which they hadn't. I want to express I said I only wanted them to check for the issue and possible fix it depending on the time it would take. They Never Ran the code reader, they replaced a BUNCH of additional parts that were NOT part of actually fixing the car OR covered under my warranty, they were just replacing them cause they were 20k miles out from needing to be replaced ( this is a 40k Mile truck RAM 2500 Power Wagon) . During that same call on Wednesday they told me that they needed my permission to open up the vehicle to see what the problem is, I was hesitant but I said yes and immediately hung-up and got a second opinion. After that getting that second opinion I told them NOT to open the engine cause they never ran the code and that I was getting my truck towed to another dealership, they THEN told me OH no worries we aren't getting to your truck for another 2-3 days and I said wait.... You JUST told me you inspected my truck and you knew you had to open it up but they hadn't as well as proved that they hadn't I LITERALLY caught them LYING to me and when I called him out on it he had NOTHING to say, then there service manager told me I had a remaining balance of about 500+ dollars which I REFUSED to pay because I did NOT ask them to replace sparkplugs or coilovers or any of the periodic maintenance stuff. I said YOU WILL connect me to the dealership manager and to keep me on HOLD ( cause they're great about not calling you back when they say they will). The manager Donna did not want to be responsible for the for this issue and requested me to make the payment again I said I refused and after she talked to the service manager to get a answer at just what exactly was the issue they absorbed the balance which is the ONLY thing I feel was LESS than HALF WAY DECENT of them even though THIS was QUITE LITERALLY on them. This dealer is has extreme highs and lows. Here's the deal: This was one of two dealers in the entire state of California that had the car I was looking for. I called and spoke to Chase. He is not only a great salesman, but is super transparent, honest and straightforward. Negotiations took maybe 20 minutes. He told the best he could do up front and it was a hell of a deal. It took longer for him to collect my information than it did to haggle on the price. In all honesty, it wasn't necessary to haggle. Get this. Chase works Monday through Saturday. His only day off is Sunday. The only day I could come in was, go figure, Sunday. Chase still took the time to come in just to meet me. No other reason. Chase is a good dude. If I didn't live so far away, I would invite him over for a drink. Super good dude. On the other side of the coin, the finance manager is a polar opposite of Chase. Since finance and sales are different departments, once the sale is worked out, they have to send you over to finance, so Chase and I had to part company here. The finance manager was not only over an hour late to work (I had an appointment...), but he started out by lying to me. Great way to build trust. After calling him out and deciding to (foolishly) give him another chance, he lied to me again. Since now he lost all credibility I began asking for proof to substantiate all of his statements. He began refusing. Now I knew he was hiding something and still not being honest. It took us almost walking out on a deal we had pre-arranged and drove 3 hours to get, bit we also ended up calling another dealer to tell the guy he was full of sh*t for him to change his tune. Long story short, if you're coming to this dealer, call and specifically ask for Chase. If he's off that day, call back later when he's working. DO NOT deal with anyone else. Lastly, the finance manager is awful and is probably costing this dealership business because of his business practices. Do not trust him with anything he says. Demand documentation to support anything he says. If he says he can't show you, he's, yet again, lying. He showed me. All in all, Chase: 6 stars!
