What an amazing spot. Had the most delicious steamed omelette and the kiddos had pancakes which were gone before I looked up. They loved their hot chocolate and I got a spicy sausage on the side which was great. Overall a must try spot for breakfast in Lake Forest. Great quality food. read more

Quaint old world cafe that I enjoy. The foam on the cappuccino is yummy. I very much enjoy the steamed omelet, it's worth the 10-15 mins wait. The cheese gets lost in the cooking so, I request the cheese on the side. The owner Sada uses a very nice cottage cheese and she puts some lovely spices on it. She often sends out a little bowl of whatever fresh fruit she has, a nice touch. You can expect the prices to be friendly, the service to be just sufficient, and the menu to be minimal. Delightful! We found this cafe - a hidden gem - on our Sunday morning walk today. The Belgium waffle was delicious and served with real Vermont maple syrup. The coffee was rich and we got a carafe on our table for refills. Bacon was crispy and eggs were good. The ambiance was charming and the staff was very nice. Sharing a vape store: At first we didnt know they shared a location with a vape shop, but dont be alarmed because we enjoyed our time there so much that we forgot! Honestly, you dont really notice the vape shop while you're in the cafe.. and it doesnt affect your environment. We were worried that maybe people were going to be vaping, but that wasnt a thing! Food: SO GOOD & SO CHEAP! We played less than $20 for our two meals and we loved them! At first we were kinda skeptical considering the location but we were wrong.. everyone should go!! & The plates that the food was served on was super cute too! Con: there was only one thing that bothered us and it was the smell of old medical supplies. The building that they are in used to be an old medical building. That smell is EXTREMELY hard to get rid of, so I'm not taking away any stars.. but if you can deal with that smell then it should be no problem! read more

Tried Cloud Cafe this morning and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the French toast, my daughter got Belgian waffles with fresh strawberries, and my husband got French toast, eggs and sausage. The food was looked fresh and appetizing on cute plates. Each plate came with fresh sliced plums. The drinks came with a little carafe on the side for refills. Wanted a little place to enjoy breakfast with a friend and this place is just down the street so worth the try. The place is very small, but the service is fast. The food was just "ok" for the price and nothing that I would miss, but far better than a Denny's because of the cuteness of fine china plates. Not sure I will be back because there are other little local places that serve better. read more

For a small little place, they had the most amazing omelettes! They started off with the fresh fruit. The omelette was outstanding everything came fresh from the farmers market! The service was over the moon. The coffee was outstanding! Can't say enough about this tiny little place, we highly recommend it. On Sunday August 16th, wife and I were looking for somewhere to go to breakfast. Checked yelp and found Cloud Cafe. Looked at the menu (didn't look at the reviews) and decided to try it. WOW are we glad we did. Small little place in same plaza as CVS, just around the corner. We both had the Burger and egg combo. Next time (AND THERE WILL BE A NEXT TIME) I will try the Apple and Cinnamon Omelet. The female owner (forgot to get her name) took the time to come out and talk to us. PLEASE TRY THIS PLACE. Lots of places have more interesting menus and larger portions, but Cloud Cafe, it turns out, does basic extremely well, for a more than fair price. Bacon and eggs with sourdough: The bacon slices were pretty thick, and a bit tough, but very tasty. Eggs over easy were cooked just right. I opted for cottage cheese instead of potatoes, and the sourdough came as a single slice. One thicker slice of hearty sourdough. $7 My wife ordered the french toast, and she liked it a lot. Very homemade all around. It was only two half slices of bread, but was enough. It came with eggs, scrambled. $6 A small fruit cup comes out first, and that was nice too. No charge. Espresso: My wife ordered a double. $2 A single is $1. Coffee: Pretty good. $1.50 Service was outstanding. Everything we had tasted like we made it at home ourselves, which is a good thing when you just want breakfast but don't want to cook it yourself. When a typical breakfast costs $11 and up, it is nice to see $6 and $7 plates. Five stars for simplicity and value. Employess had masks on the entire time. The outside tables are appropriately distanced. Inside dining has tables close together, but separated by partitions. I suspect I may just become a regular. read more

This place is a little hidden gem. I had 2 eggs over medium, with sourdough toast, coffee fruit and tuekey sausage. Everything was cooked exactly how I expected. My sourdough toast was toasted so nicely loved it... they even give you a stamp card The plates were like something you would have at home.. Great service, great food. Came here for breakfast since the food looked good. We saw a table open outside but walked in to wait to be seated. The guy over the counter saw us but didn't acknowledge us. We waited. Waited. Just standing there. He finally took a coffee out and I asked if we could take the open table. He mumbled something and kept walking. He came back in, again.. didn't acknowledge us, and walked to the back kitchen. Started doing other things. After almost 10min of standing there with my boyfriend, we decided to leave. We got the Saturday waffle and eggs special for $6. It was pretty basic. I really can't say it was awesome or special because it was literally just one piece of waffle with a pat of butter and syrup and two over easy eggs on the side with no accouterments. The photos of other entrees look good though so maybe we ordered the wrong thing. It's upstairs in a two story medical building tucked inside what looks like was an old pharmacy space. It was honestly very different from what I expected from the yelp photos. I checked in on yelp to use the discount but got the check before I could tell them and I didn't feel compelled to correct them. Fine service, basic but at least affordable. read more

Great little breakfast place located in Lake Forest. When I say little, I mean little, but don't let that turn you away. The waiter sat us right away and brought us a fresh carafe of coffee. We both went simple, 2 eggs over easy with bacon and hash. It also came with homemade wheat bread. Everything was perfectly cooked and the bacon looked like it was cut from a slab instead of store bought, thick and tasty. All in all a good experience. read more

Where should I start?! Got the strawberry latte (half sweet) which is their seasonal "special". Oh yes it was very special and not in a good way. It tasted like strawberry water. No espresso flavor at all. To make it worse, the cup was not even full to the top. If I am paying almost $7 for a latte, it better be full. The service was ok. Nothing special. They have TONS of Tesla charging stations in the front and that is how I came across this coffee shop (while charging my car). This was one of my least memorable coffee experiences. Unbookmark it!

We also got the Island coffee (coconut flavored) and Spanish coffee (condensed milk and cinnamon). Both drinks were amazing. We also really liked the Kim chee burrito. One bite and my husband and I wish we ordered 2. It went so well with the sour cream. The service was very fast as well. This is a must try if you are in the area! The line is almost always quite lengthy when we are there but the staff is great and the drinks typically come out quite quickly. My go to drink is the iced Snowy Mocha and it has great flavor and is always made to perfection. The pricing here is also quite good and they offer a substantial rewards program as well that adds up quickly. Although they have since opened a newer location closer to home in Garden Grove for me, I still prefer this location so far overall for consistency and overall pleasantness. I am a satisfied customer of theirs and hope to return again many times to come.

The restroom is located in a separate building across the courtyard and watching people search for it can be mildly entertaining LOL It is a nice place to work with plenty of natural light and a wonderful patio for enjoying nice weather. I just wish the drinks were a little better. But because of the convenient location I will probably try it again. Maybe Ill try something iced?
