Gringo Tacos are superb! These are a must try! I like to go in the quieter hours to watch sports and enjoy the meal.

Food is wonderful (I love the nachos personally)! Drinks are strong, but not too strong. Prices are very reasonable.

It's been a long time since I wrote an update for Cloud 9... After a recent trip, I decided that it was time given that we live in a MUCH different world than we did in 2015. Parking lot is pretty big. Used to fit LOTS of cars when dart tournaments were allowed. There is a heated tent now as well for guests to use for outdoor dining/drinking. I was pleasantly surprised when I came in and the tables are all distanced really well, people were sticking with their groups, and wearing masks if they were not at their table. Bar seating is not allowed still, if I remember correctly. They also have Golden Tee, pool tables, and dart boards here. I believe they only have a few dart boards operating right now to keep in accordance with Covid guidelines, though. Another bonus for me is that Cloud carries Truly hard seltzers - and the hard teas! SO good if you aren't a beer person. The bartenders are also really nice and remember your order if you come in enough *cough cough, me.* What more could you want from a dive bar...? Good food? Well THEY HAVE THAT TOO. My absolute favorites are the Gringos Tacos & the Gringos Quesadilla, both of which they are famous for. The tacos are a MUST try - just read the other reviews! I always go with the pork and it's always moist, full of flavor, and all around delicious. The sauce they put on their tacos is also heaven sent. Whatever they put in it.... I don't know. I'd bathe in it. It's that good. Cloud is the perfect dive bar to hit up if you're looking for laid back fun, good food, and strong pours. Highly recommend. Just look at my check-in count... So I went to Cloud 9 to order their Gringos Tacos. When I arrived to order I was given no choices they had available. Assuming they would be beef or chicken and I would be fine with either. When I left with my food and arrived at my destination I realized I was given pork, which I don't eat, so I called them back to let them know I wasn't made aware that pork was an option. The bartender that I spoke to, who also took my order, was extremely rude to me I mean extremely. So when I arrived to get my new order he basically said I should of known how they came, mind you it was my first time visiting. I gave him no reason to treat in this manner. I am giving Cloud 9 a three star rating simply because I am not the biggest fan of Mexican food but I do love a good taco and Cloud 9 serves on of the best tacos I think I have seen and eaten in my life When you arrive and see bikes outside don't be fooled, this is as nice a place as any that you will visit. You can entertain yourself with a game of darts, try your hand at pool ( which my friends and I loved ) Or you and your partner can hit the dance floor if you so desire before sitting down to your meal. Soooo those Gringo tacos are the ONE! Probably one of the few spots in WA that makes great tacos. Love how they put melted cheese at the bottom nice touch! I use to come to Cloud 9 back into young adult life, it was fun! Now more of stopping in during week day or early to just grab the Gringo Fish Tacos with pink moscato. Love how they have TV's all around the bar so you can watch sports | UFC fights. The bartender was very nice and always checking on us. Even gave us side of water. This is a nice chill spot to come and chill. I don't really think this spot is ghetto or dangerous to be around, I just think you just need to check your surrounds make good judgment calls. I didn't get any bad vibes from any of the bartenders and there is security when you walk in the door checking I.D.'s. If your ever in a Kent and wanting to taste some great tacos Cloud 9 is the place to go. Also drinks, their drinks are great! You get what you pay for so I say there drinks are reasonable in price. This is a great dive bar, and it's really fun, and I love the bartenders and bouncers they are very friendly and nice but, my friends and I came here for our friends birthday and we went up to the DJ to request a song he responded with no and my friend jokingly said "ahhh you're lame". The DJ got extremely pissed and went on to the mic and said in front of the whole bar "I just got called a lame DJ, if you think that then you can leave" but the tone he was using he was obviously not kidding. He then came up to me and my friend that called him lame, got in her face and said "do you got a problem? Do you got a problem?" Btw he looks as if he's in his 30's and my friend is a 21 year old girl and he was in her face trying to start a fight. My friends and I then go to the other side of the bar to leave this situation and have fun with the rest of our night. But can we? No because he's going up to every single bartender, bouncer etc to get us kicked out of the bar because we hurt his ego. We didn't get kicked out because it's obviously ridiculous but I wish the other employees would have handled the situation in a better way as they did nothing. I will never return to this establishment as long as he is the DJ. I don't care if calling him lame was out of line in any way which I don't believe it was, that is no way to treat customers, especially regulars as my friends and I return to this spot frequently and we won't be back. Okay so we decided to try out this bar named Cloud 9. Apparently it is the Dart Bar of the world? Or at least of the area. Lots of dart trophies, and they actually have leagues and weekly matches for money or what not. BUT, Villi Falou is the DJ on Friday nights, I am not sure if he rotates with other DJ's but he was there last night. It was kind of awesome. It is a very interesting mix of crowds, parking can be a issue on the weekends. You have the dart crowd, local folks coming for the food, and people that come to dance or play pool. The Dance floor is kind of small, and while we were there no one really danced. We did leave kind of early though. We came here for a dart league - and honestly had heard tons of bad things about this bar specifically that we were kind of afraid to even go. Lots of stories about spiking drinks, over serving, rowdy crowd, etc. We walked in and weren't greeted, sat ourselves and ordered some drinks from the bar. While playing darts, we were not asked about more drinks or food requests. The bartender really did give off the vibe that if you're not a regular here, you may as well pound sand. I didn't like this. However, if you're a dart player - this bar is really big and full of boards to play on...which, we liked - but, again - TONS of regulars staring at you and wondering why you're there. The drinks were priced alright, the music choices were fine, and the bar food we ordered was hot and tasted as it should have. As the night went on, the crowd turned louder and louder and I could easily see where the rumors came from - the owners seem young and careless and this place definitely gave off the vibe that if you were underage, you could go here for a drink...if you made the right friends. If you are a respectable African American (Black Being) stay away from this place. I was called a "NIGGER" from a woman that clearly was a racists in front of several attendees, patrons and staff members. Following this display everyone went on about their business as if it never happened. I will say there were a few bar goers that stood up and displayed their distaste for what had accrued, however I have never in my 37 years living have ever felt so threatened, uncomfortable and vulnerable then I felt this day. Forget the Grey Goose you pay for and receive bottom shelf in your cup this place is truly not customer friendly and could care less if you are here today and gone tomorrow. The fact this place is still in business after several owners is beyond me. Myself along with my friends have never been so threatened in our lives.
