Food was excellent! Not sure where the concept can from by sending the fries out 10 minutes prior to your meal as if they were appetizers. Service however was AWFUL! Waitress never came back. Had to hunt her down for our ticket ! Charged our debit card TWICE! Never apologized for the debit error or for poor service ! Will eat there again because we love the food. Very pleasant trip for me and my wife. I got the Ring of Fire and my wife got the Something Blue. The Ring of Fire had just the right amount of heat and she said the Something Blue was very tasty. The sweet potato fries are good but the onion rings are AWESOME! Outside seating is dog friendly. The beer selection is smaller than I would have liked, they only offer Bell's. read more

Food: 4 Good, not great burger place. Burgers have good flavor and a unique assortment of toppings. They are a little on the thin side for what you'd expect from a place like this and for what you pay. None of the sides blew me away, but the sweet potato fries are good with feta sauce. Service: 2 Some of the time I get decent service, but I have had a some instances where there were confusion about orders or abnormally long wait times for tables and/or food. One time in particular, they actually crossed off my name from the waitlist without seating me. Ended up waiting a long time that night before figuring out what happened. Delicious burgers, tasty side salad and onion rings. Met friends for dinner. Our party of five was seated outside. Food was fantastic but service was poor. We were seated and got waters initially. Ordered our meals and they were delivered fairly fast. However no napkins were provided. We saw our waiter and got napkins more than half way through our meal. Special note: these unique burgers had a great special sauce and that means they can be messy! Wait for the napkins! We would go again but request silverware and napkins immediately upon being seated. read more

In an area seemingly constantly under siege from chains, it's great to see places like this catching on and holding their own. Clocked is popular enough that getting a seat can be challenging at times. The menu is mostly an innovative take on hot-dogs-burgers-fries-shakes food, with burgers in the $5-8 range and other items priced very reasonably. How about a burger with bacon and melted peanut butter on top? Or tater tots with garlic-dijon dipping sauce? Or a Cheerwine-flavored shake? Part of the experience is to comb the menu, try something innovative that might work, and tell all your friends about it. Even if you just get a plain cheeseburger or fries with only ketchup, though, it'll taste good because the ingredients are good. It's hard not to compare this place to The Grill, the much longer-running local burger place more centrally located. Both are good in their own ways, and vastly preferable to the chains. Clocked is the kind of place that also reminds me of Portland, Oregon, and food trucks and smaller places there. These kinds of businesses provide far more local benefit than do the chains, and in a college town like Athens they're relying on kids from mostly suburban areas who've grown up only around chain stores breaking free of that. read more

A friend and I who were visiting Athens stopped at Clocked! for a milkshake and fries. The sweet potato fries were delicious, and the blackberry shake was one of the best shakes I've ever had. Our waitress was very sweet and also suggested some places to visit around town. I would highly recommend a snack there. read more

I've been here three times so far and each time the service was great, always friendly and attentive. I love a good burger and Clocked didn't disappoint. I really enjoy the menu options, I mean I don't know too many places where I can get tater tots xD I also love the drink selection, they have my favorite, the hard to find Sioux City Berry Berry. This place is definitely on my list of favs when I'm over in Athens, and once I even made the trip just to eat at Clocked. In addition, I love the atmosphere and decor. I sat down at 5:30 PM on a Wednesday with about 8 tables full of patrons (including the outdoors). My table was unclean so I asked to have it wiped, no luck there due to only one server on the floor for all the patrons. I moved to the bar thinking that might be quicker. I ordered a Swiss Burger and specified "Medium Rare" and some tater tots. The tots came quickly but the burger took much longer. When I attempted to bite into the swiss burger , much to my chagrin, it was almost in-eatable. Burned to a crisp. Absolutely no flavor, no juice......might as well be trying to eat a shoe. This restaurant needs to get it's act together and hire more help to service all their patrons in a timely fashion. Someone should teach the cook what "Medium Rare" means. I would avoid this place like the plague. read more

Looking for the best burger in Athens?! Clocked has it. The peanut butter bacon burger sounds crazy but it the best burger in town. Their tots are also super good, especially if you get the cajun kind paired with the feta dipping sauce. The atmosphere is also really unique and the decor is awesome to look at. HORRIBLE - We had to scavenge a menu from another table, because our waitress didn't bother to bring any. Then, she only left one straw for our table when she finally got around to bringing drinks (relatively minor, but still). After we ordered, it took a ridiculously long time for our food to arrive even though it wasn't very busy, and when it finally got there our burgers were so well done they were nearly burnt (we had ordered med-rare) and the Cajun tots had almost no seasoning on them. We didn't dare send anything back because we didn't have another hour to wait for them to fix it. WILL NOT be returning. read more

My daughter attends UGA, and recommended we try it for lunch. I had the Ring of Fire burger. I like a lot of very spicy foods, and this left my mouth tingling. Not to hot, but might catch someone off guard if they are not used to spicy foods. It was very tasty as well. I paired it with the onion rings which were perfectly fried. Their own batter came out light but lacked some flavor. The wait staff works very hard and do very well in the tight space. The food does take a while to arrive, so do not expect a fast lunch. Clocked! used to be my favorite restaurant in Athens. I was so excited to take my family there after the UL Lafayette vs. UGA football game! While the restaurant was a bit crowded, we stuck out the wait. As someone with medically diagnosed gluten intolerance, I ordered the gluten free burger, as I have many times before. When our food came out, my bun looked the same as my dad's, who did NOT order a gluten free bun. I immediately asked the waitress, who told me that it was definitely gluten free, it just looked the same. Trusting her, I ate my burger. About an hour later, I became violently ill. I had a digestive/allergic reaction that occurs every time I eat gluten. I then looked up a picture I had taken when I last visited Clocked! and realized that the gluten free burger in the picture did NOT look like the burger I ate today. For this reason, I firmly believe that I was served a regular burger -- even though I was reassured that it was gluten free AND charged extra for a gluten free bun. That night, I called Clocked! several times and emailed, but weeks later I have still not been able to speak with someone. If you have dietary restrictions, avoid this restaurant at all costs. I sincerely hope that the staff will review dietary restrictions soon and recognize that careless actions can medically affect their customers. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. We sat there for 25 min while 4 diff waiters looked us and served other people. 2 of the waiters said someone will be with us soon. When the waiter showed up and sd, "I think you are wanting to order" and we said "yes, we've been wanting to order for 25 min". His response was, "Cool". Um no bro, it's not cool. The excuse was they were busy, yet they were serving others that arrived after us. I can't speak to the food or drinks because that never happened! read more
