Stopped by here on our way out of Athens. We live out of the country and I was craving Waffle House. The food did not disappoint. Two medium eggs with sausage and hash browns scattered, smothered, covered with jalapeños. For about twenty minutes I was satisfied. Our server was nice and kept our coffee cups full. Don't eat here. Placed a to-go order and sat in the waiting area. Looked down and noticed we were surrounded by BUGS inside the restaurant. Manager walked past us and it seemed like he noticed them too but nothing was done. I know it's a Waffle House and expectations shouldn't be too high but this is the WORST Waffle House I have ever been to. read more

Everything was terrible. We sat there for 35 minutes without being talked to or even looked at. Our server, Jeremy, was the absolute worst. I've been a server for seven years, and if food is taking an HOUR I at least made sure their drinks were full. I also worked in a much busier environment. He should be embarrassed. After waiting an hour for our food, still not getting it, and watching our server daze off; The cooks LEFT for a smoke break. It was not busy, two other tables had to leave because they weren't even spoken to and noticed the cooks had left. Overall, do not go there. Everything and everyone there sucks. read more

It's a Waffle House so I don't think you guys should be expecting a 5 Star Restaurant and everything to be perfect. But I also have never had an issue here, late night staff has always been quick and friendly and they should get some credit for that. Garbage. Don't plan to eat if you come here. Think this is the third time in a row I've tried walking up and they just wave me away saying we're closed. How is a place that's "open 24 hours" never actually open? Please update your hours. read more

We went there yesterday evening. Only one other customer in the restaurant. We sat our selves and waited over 7 minutes without being acknowledge by any of the three employees that were working. One waitress did however take the time talk to the other customer, a younger woman that was wearing PJ bottoms, and had her feet propped up on a stool to discuss their last trip to the tittie bar, and how the need to have more thick women stripping. We left and went to the Butt Hutt BBQ down the street from this awful waffle and had great service and great food. read more

Staff is very rude. We were actively dismissed when we had been seated for over 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Courtney was exceptionally rude and I am appalled. I get that it is Waffle House and a Sunday morning but humble yourself. If you can't serve us in an appropriate manner then you obviously shouldn't be in this business. read more

Sometimes it smells like the bathroom and sometimes it doesn't. But it's just like any other Waffle House. Fast cheap and good.

Hey come see the 3rd shift crew on Sunday thru Tuesday and you will get the best food and service!!

The service was fast but they got my orders completely wrong, I have an onion allergy and specifically said it twice to leave out onions on my sandwich. I love the food, but it's hard to give a good rating when they obviously aren't paying attention to the customer's request. read more

Today was the worst experience I have had a this WH. It was busy, but there was an adequate number of staff. The usual 3 strips of bacon is now 4 half strips. The greatly watered grits had hard congealed inedible lumps. Service was rushed. I hope management will ease up and lessen the stress. I am sure part of the problem today was people sending orders back. read more

If I could give no stars I would. The service was horrible. Our server Mandy was terrible. First off the place was not busy but empty dirty tables. We a stood by the door 8 minutes before they decided to clean a table. Once seated our server ignored us for a while then came over to take out order. Ordered 4 coffees and she brought 2 and the other two when the food came out. We had to constantly stop her to ask for refills there was no syrup on the table our brought to us for our 4 waffles. We had to ask the cook for mayo and syrup. The order was wrong so I had to wait longer on my food for it to be corrected and to receive undercooked eggs that I asked to be scrambled hard. Never again will I come here. I will stick to my usual waffle house which was too full is the reason why we came to this one. If this one was busy like the one near me on hwy 29 in athens they couldn't stand a chance. Do better, I work hard for my money, give the same service you would like to receive if you were dining out. read more

All the times I have ate here the food has made my stomach hurt. Ordered cheese eggs one time and they were half cooked. Every time I eat here I notice if I get the same thing I usually order my price is always different and higher. The staff is rude and talk about people out loud. I was eating in one day and a homeless couple asked for the manager and a cup of water. The two white ladies (one older and one middle aged) refused to give them anything and lied and said the manager wasn't there. Then when the couple left they began talking about them stating they smelled and needed to find a damn job. I paid for my order and was conversating with my fiance about going to give the couple a few dollars and the waitresses were eavesdropping on my private conversation then had the nerve to tell me not to do it. I told them you can not and will not tell me what to do with my money. I have not ate there since and I don't plan on it. read more
