When I asked again for a new burger or a refund, she refused both--with an attitude. I ended up leaving still hungry and feeling ignored. I hope the cafe reads feedback like this and improves; their menu might have potential, but I can't recommend them based on my experience.

I sipped on a sangria while hubby ordered a pomegranate martini. My sangria did not lack in the alcohol department, but it was a little weak in the flavor department. A few had to ask for more cranberry juice to make them palatable. Conversations with other guests and the bartender for the outside bar prompted numerous appetizer and entree recommendations once they learned we were visiting for the first time. From bbq shrimp and Philly Cheesesteak Spring Rolls appetizers to fish-n-chips, fried shrimp, and chicken tenders entrées to peanut butter pie, strawberry shortcake, and bread pudding desserts, everyone shared so many options that were "sooo good". Hubby and I ordered the bbq shrimp appetizer. It did not disappoint. Now this wasn't the same type of bbq that would be on ribs or chicken from the grill. I would likely swap it out with another side next time...and based on tonight's experience, there will definitely be a next time. The only down side was that hubby and I ordered bread pudding desserts to go. When we opened them later, they were drastically different. One was lighter in color and was delicious while the other was much darker and seemed like it may have been overcooked. The flavors differed between the two as well. After such a great meal and experience, it was a bit disappointing to have it all end this way. If possible, I would have taken off half a star because everything and everyone else was great.
