Since I had not had lunch, I walked around the food court to see what they had to offer. I noticed A Taste of Home and saw my favorite food, oxtail. I was greeted by one of the most pleasant ladies. She welcomed me and took my order. I decided to eat my food in the car because I had an appointment in 40 minutes, so I wouldn't have a microwave to reheat the food after my appointment, which would've taken almost two hours. I consider myself an oxtail aficionado. When I tasted the oxtail, it didn't have the flavor that I'm accustomed to. It was different. It was more of a barbecue/tomato taste type of flavor. Don't be mistaken--it was good nonetheless, but just different. The cabbage and the rice were good as well. Everything was seasoned perfectly. I didn't have to add salt or anything to the dish. The portion sizes were decent for $25. I definitely recommend you go there because next time I'm in the area, I'm going to stop in and grab me another plate!

Waited quite a while to place and receive our order By the time food arrived, it was no longer warm. Fries were stale and cold. Food was sub par, burger dry (odd when it had sauce but somehow still dry) falling apart, and not much flavor. The Philly (if you can call it that) was packed with meat and just a drizzle of the cheese sauce, leaving it dry as well. The meat itself on the Philly was dry and had almost an old burnt taste not a smoky flavor. A shame because I've been here numerous times in the past with no issues. I'll stick to the downtown Spartanburg location from now on...
