Found this place via Yelp. Walked in and saw that it's a brew pub. I really don't drink. They seem to be known for their burgers. So I got the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Nothing really went as expected .., But Cribbs is a nice place. I sat at the bar (drinking my sweet tea) and watched some hockey on TV. The bartender was great. It's slightly loud but not at all intolerable. I may come again during my 4 night stay here. read more

We came by the night after Christmas while traveling. The hostess sat us right away and our waitress explained the menu and gave us ideas. We ordered the calamari, burger no cheese and 6 Korean bbq wings. We had time to wash our hands and our dinner and appetizer was delivered to the table. My burger came with cheese and she offered to remake it but I said it was fine. The calamari was amazing, some of the best we have had. The wings were also great with just the right amount of kick, The burger was also very tasty. As we were enjoying our dinner Andrew brought us a hamburger to go with no cheese and another side salad. He apologized for the mistake and told us to enjoy it for lunch tomorrow. His leadership in the restaurant speaks volumes for the way his restaurant is run. We would recommend this restaurant to locals and travelers alike. Thanks to Our waitress, Andrew and team for a great dinner for some weary travelers. We've gone to Cribbs a few times at both locations. I guess I just forgot all about writing the review. Weird. Anyway we went again yesterday for lunch and sat at the bar. I got the drink special "Rocket Man", Grey Goose Watermelon, St. Germain, lime, and watermelon juice. To eat I got the CK Cuban, which I've had several times and my usual side Hoppin John Salad. Passing through the area, our hotel clerk recommended CK. She was spot on! The fried green tomatoes were delicious. Might even say the best I've ever had. The burger was big, flavorful, cooked to perfection and messy, which is always a sign of good burger. Ashley, our server, took excellent care of us. Andrew, the chef, checked on us also which tells me how well this restaurant operates. We will definitely dine here when in the area. Our server Natalie was awesome. She was friendly and attentive to our group of four. The ambiance was akin to a neighborhood pub. The food could have been much better had it been hot. The flavor was there on my cheesesteak sandwich but it was lukewarm at best. The deviled egg appetizer was delish, the fried green tomatoes... not so much. They were fried but they were not green which led to them being mushy. I've heard great things about the restaurant but had it not been for our server, my score would have been lower. Definitely a go to local spot. I stop here at least once a week. A great variety of different types of burgers and I have never had a bad experience with one. Also have tried several of the sides and all are on point. Plus the beer on tap always has something I like or something new that I become a fan of. As for the service very nice staff. Always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. This is a great place to stop in for an easy lunch/dinner or to get together with friends. 10/10 would recommend. read more

We are traveling through the area and happened upon Cribbs Kitchen. The food and drinks were excellent. The Cribbs Philly and the award winning Bacon Jam-Brie Burger were outstanding! Lunch took awhile and order was not correct. Arrived around noon, other tables were being served as we waited. One sandwich was ordered without onions& mushrooms yet came with mushrooms which led to an increased wait for new sandwich. We went here this past Father's Day around 4pm for the first time. We had heard good things about it from friends, so we wanted to try it. We were able to walk right in and get a table which was great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The inside was very clean and modern looking. The food was excellent. We got the smoked wings as an appetizer and they were good. You do have to request a dipping sauce if you want it, which was a little unusual, but no big deal. I got the shrimp and grits as my entree which was not very aesthetically pleasing but tasted excellent and the shrimp were good sized. My wife got the Cribb Style burger with sweet potato fries and it was also very good. The burger wash huge, which made it worth the $15 in our opinion. All of our food was hot, we had to let it cool off a little before eating it, which we didn't mind at all. It is a little pricey overall, but we will definitely be back. read more

First time dining at Cribbs and will definitely be back! The service was fantastic (thank you Laura and Amanda), and the food excellent. Arrived on Saturday evening around 6'ish, and was seated quickly. The place filled up after that - obviously quite popular. My guest and I each had a cocktail called "Peach Betta Have My Money" LOL and it was superb - different in a delicious way. Ingredients were peach vodka, lemon, honey, basically, peach and ginger beer. You gotta try it! For an entree my guest had the Cribb Style Burger with regular fries which was amazing - and HUGE! My guest said it was the best burger she'd had in a long time, and believe me, that's saying something! I had the Pastrami Mommy with Parmesan fries and was not disappointed - made with smoked brisket and piled high. Both of us could only eat half our orders - so take-away boxes were provided. The tab prior to tip was $67 - very reasonable. We will definitely return to try more of the menu - this is a great spot! read more

We were a large group of 17. Our server was good. My daughter, husband and I split the Crispy Brussels Sprouts and Pimentos & Cheese Fritters. Both good but the sprouts get 5 stars. This place is highly overrated in my opinion. It was average to below average American bar food but priced as if it was high tier. I ordered their chicken sandwich cause it looked so good in their main photo. I'm not South Carolinian born but I've lived here long enough to identify a good one. This one wasn't it. The chicken was smashed thin and cooked dry. The worst part of the dinner was the fries though. They legit reminded me of the quality of fries I would get at the diners in college. Just completely flimsy and greasy. They were "Parmesan" which just meant someone shook that stuff from the green bottle on them. It wasn't actual quality cheese. My beer was $8.50. That's absurd. Went in for lunch with my family. I ordered a cheeseburger cooked medium. Burger came with no cheese, didn't complain because we were on the road and trying to get home. After first bite discovered it was medium rare, which is scary when you're talking about ground beef. I could have lived with all of that but the burger had no flavor whatsoever. I had my son try it and he agreed. My youngest son ordered chicken tenders that were gristly and too hard to eat. I complained to the waiter, whose response was "Oh, do you want me to take them away?" My wife had a chicken sandwich and my other son had a chicken wrap. They said both of theirs were ok. I didn't tip and wrote a note to the waiter that when a customer complains about the food, you send a manager to the table. Will never return, do not recommend. read more
