What they looked like when I ordered the crab cakes!
    James C.

Really wanted to love this place, it's close by and easy to get to. Our service was good and so was our meal. I ordered the crab cakes as my main and couldn't finish it and asked to have the last crab cake boxed up to go. Again our service was good and we left. The next morning I wanted to have my last crab cake and found this! They must be very hungry working in the kitchen, I hoped whoever enjoyed the bites out of my crab cake! A before and after picture of what the crab cake looked like!

I came in with a group six that included 2 young kids. We were warmly greeted by everyone. Our waitress was exceptional! (I unfortunately don't remember her name.) All of our drinks and bar items arrived at quickly. I had the drink special which was delicious and only $5. We ordered the roasted olives as our appetizer. For dinner I tried the iceberg lettuce with the medium cooked salmon which was phenomenal. Everyone enjoyed their dinner choices and the kids loved the kids menu ideas. I would definitely return wheather it for another family dinner or a date night spot.

    Homemade Bloody Mary Mix

Located on Drayton Mill's Campus. 1800 Drayton Rd. Amazing Sunday Brunch Menu! From the hangover cure, chicken and waffles, French toast to amazing pancakes! This is the place to go for Sunday Brunch. Outdoor seating is available; with a huge gas fire pit and live music. Their Bloody Mary mix is homemade and one of the best in the Upstate. Bartenders are awesome, if you're sitting at the bar; and the staff takes great care of you if you want a more formal dining experience. They also have Private Dining options for large parties, corporate and special events. Don't forget to try one of their many homemade desserts!

Location Northeast Spartanburg just off Drayton Road Parking Large private lot Atmosphere Sophisticated bar and restaurant Seating Very large bar and tables. Menu We had the fish salad-very healthy. Loaded with sliced green apples, spring mix, nuts. Large selection of wines and beer-soft drinks/iced tea. Summary Nice upscale bar and restaurant-not a happy hour place. Outstanding friendly service, great food, convenient location.

Daily special " BOGAN'S HOT" BURGER
    Julie S.

We found this gem while passing through...we both had burgers ( I had the daily special " BOGAN'S HOT" BURGER Dray's chargrilled Certified Angus Beef burger with pickles, bacon, pepperjack cheese, fried onions, habanero bacon jam,and chipotle honey mustard )and tried the goat cheese bites .... Everything was delicious! Our server was great as well! Got the bread pudding to go! Out of this world!! Wish we lived closer!!

    Goat Cheese Balls

My wife and I decided on a late lunch and/or early dinner. We went to the Dray Bar. Wife had the Wedge Salad and Goat Cheese Balls and I had the Pimento Cheese BLT. Damn good food right there. Can provided Five Star Service at the bar. Order was correct, drinks and refills were timely, and a small but cool bar crowd plus Cam. He is very high energy and we all fed off of him. Come spend some time at a cool place with a cool bartender and some cool food!!!

    Lemon drop and strawberry drop
    Keirra A.

The drinks we had was a lemon drop and strawberry drop. I ended up getting a watermelon drop as well. Total I got 4 drinks which only the first 2 was good the second 2 was off. No sweetener in the drink just bitter. The food menu didnt have alot I was interested in, but the fries were good. The place looked really nice inside and had a live guy playing a guitar. We came during happy hour.

We sat in their outside patio which was very pleasant for dinner. Meredith was our server who was very friendly and professional. We had the country fried steak with gravy, crab cakes and fish and chips. Food was great, service prompt!

Not only does this wonderful establishment have a lot to offer in terms of drinks, food and excellent service, it is also located within the Historic Drayton Mill Textile Mill complex. A beautiful campus that allows one to revel within its well preserved architecture while enjoying its serene landscape. The dray bar and grill offers a very large dining room and a very comfortable patio, pick a couch and warm up to one of the very large gas fire tables. Since our only interest this evening was drinks, we did find an excellent selection of draft beers to choose from on the very comfortable patio. Cheers!

Our drink orders were taken promptly, and when the drinks arrived, they also took our food order -- smooth and attentive service from start to finish. We started with the buffalo chicken dip with pimento cheese and pita bread, which was outstanding. The pita was perfectly toasted on the outside while staying warm and soft on the inside -- absolutely delicious. For our meals, I ordered the Down South Chicken Sandwich, and my girlfriend chose the Korean BBQ Chicken Sandwich. Both were excellent. We cut them in half so we could try each other's, and honestly, I loved both. The flavors, freshness, and quality really stood out. I live in Greenville, and I would gladly make the 50-minute drive just to eat here again. Amazing food, friendly service, and a great overall experience. Highly recommend -- I'll definitely be back soon!

You'd be better off grabbing a box of Spinx chicken and a tall boy. As for the atmosphere--just a few neon lights trying (and failing) to distract from the fact that what they call "hot" is barely lukewarm. Update for the owners response: We ordered the Flocking Hot sauce on our sandwich. What we received was essentially the no-heat sauce with a few pepper flakes sprinkled in. We even asked for extra sauce, assuming there had been a mistake in reading the ticket--but the ramekin was the same: no heat, just pepper flakes. It was mild enough that my children dipped their nuggets in it. Rather than becoming defensive, it may be more productive to address and rectify the consistency and accuracy issues being pointed out.

Sort of reminded me of an old diner that had be renovated to a clean upscale vibe. We ordered the steak kabobs and they were mouthwatering with flavor. My fiancee got an old fashioned and I got a rabbits foot, one of their craft gin cocktails. It was AMAZING, the gentleman's ice cube I believe was made with lavender so as it melted, your drink was even more flavorful and not watered down. He ordered the shiny duck and I the beef fillet and mashed potato. Both were also delicious, this is a farm to table spot so you know it's fresh. One thing which I didn't minus a star for was considering the price point I would think they would offer a vegetable with your meal. Few spears of broccolini or asparagus or carrots, just to make it feel a little more well-rounded of a plate. The were out of a few items being a busy day/night but we didn't mind. We will try them next go around. Our server Erin was just epic, great sense of humor and very attentive! We will be back again and make sure to sit in her section. Cheers to supporting local non chain restaurants!

I wandered into Main Street Bar & Eatery for what was supposed to be a "quick bite between quotes." Instead, I became spiritually welded to a barstool while the TV blasted a man in flannel yeeting a chainsaw like it owed him money. And the fried pickles. Good grief. Those things ambushed me. One minute I'm thinking "I'll just have a snack," and the next I'm waist-deep in a basket of fried circles of temptation, crunching my way into oblivion while pretending to "work." My laptop was open, sure, but let's not lie to ourselves -- I got absolutely nothing done. I was too busy yelling advice at professional lumberjacks like I'd trained for this moment my whole life. After waiting several minutes and finally being acknowledged, I politely asked the bartender for a canned beverage. She said I could not order from her and had to order from my waitress. When I noted that no waitress had visited our table yet, I politely asked to speak to a manager. At that point, the owner immediately emerged and erupted with a profanity-laced tirade, using extreme verbal aggression and telling me to get out, claiming I was "jumping ahead." We left immediately. The venue itself was clean, but the management style felt hostile and unpredictable. I've since found years of similar reports on community forums and other travel sites regarding hostile owner interactions and a reportedly toxic environment for staff. There has even been past litigation involving serious workplace allegations. I strongly encourage anyone to do their own research beyond the star ratings before deciding to support this establishment. I will not be returning.
