This is the second time we went to Holliday Brewing. What I noticed immediately was how huge and impressive this place was. It reminded me of breweries you would see back home in California. Come to find out the owners ARE from California. I don't know how many seltzers there were when we first went last year but boy I was pleasantly surprised to see so many seltzer flavor options. I think maybe 7 or 8 in total! I got a flight of Blue Pomegranate, Berried Treasure, Peach and Lemonade. The hubby got a flight of beer that included Hazy Blaze, Island Haze, Van Hazy and Mosaic. All of the seltzers were delicious but the Blueberry Pom was my favorite. Our bartender Conner was super friendly and helpful. He also mentioned that they have a margarita flavored seltzer that you can pick a flavored syrup to and get that marg feeling! Love the idea. I had the Lemon Pepper Wings and a Baby Wedge. Hubby had the special which was a Prime Rib Sandwich. Everything was delicious and hubby said that Prime Rib sandwich was perfect. We both chatted about how we wished we had a Holliday Brewing closer to Woodruff. Way to go Holliday! We felt right at home and loved everything! You've got two new fans here! read more

We just found this little brewery while we were in town last week. First off, the food was above average for a brewery. The pretzel bites were gone before we could get plates! Burgers were all good portion sizes and my wedge salad was good. My husband loved the beers he got and I liked that they offered wine! Second, our server was so sweet and was on top of it! Finally, the space they have is rare in the upstate - a great outdoor space for the kids to play. All around, a great night out for our family. It is a brewery after all, so walking into a large noisy metal structure is to be expected. But in the world of brewery's, this one is very new, clean and comes with an adults only mezzanine, which is where I would prefer to be seated. Not only is it child free, it comes with a dedicated small bar and more comfortable seating. They have a great selection of brews, I find it very easy to drink in a brewery that can from very light to very dark and all the stops in between. Smash or Not to Smash, that is the question? A smash burger is a burger that is made by smashing the ground beef onto the grill or griddle with a spatula. Smashing the burger results in a sear on the outside of the meat, which locks in all of the juices and flavor. Typically I like to step outside the box when it comes to food, but if you cant at least medium rare a Smashburger by simply searing the outside smash, I will stick with the good ole patty. I can handle burnt ends on a smoked brisket, but not a hamburger! And if you can char burger, you should be able to char onions upon request!!! Next time no smash, just press, and let me enjoy a juicy patty rather than charred meat and raw onions. Cheers! read more

My Son was in town and we decided to go to Holliday Brewing for drinks and a snack. We had a Super Cool chick named Liz who swooped in and saved us. We had the Pilsner and my wife had a vodka tonic and we shared pretzel bites. Now they had some form of trivia night and it was packed. In addition to many other tables inside and outside Liz provided Five Star Service. She visited our table often to provide refills and check on us. We enjoyed her high energy and great service. This place is horrible and for me to say that and post about it is a big deal. Gave this place a second try, wasn't impressed the first time we came here, but I always like to give a business a second chance. Took 20 mins to place an order, it's like the server forgot about us. Then 2 tables got their food before us who came after us. Server didn't bring what we asked for. Burger over cooked. Salad horrible. This was our first time visiting. The waitress was great. The beers were great. The food was good but not hot. It was barely warm. The dining room wasn't busy but they had a gathering in the back. WOW! Was fortunate to be invited as a friend of the family for their private "thank-you" opening. Investors, the construction crew, Inman city officials and new crew of employees. The grand opening will be near the end of October, estimated. This is their new location and it is an impressive beauty. Lots of parking, open atmosphere, clean, large bar, about 20 brews constantly due to change regularly, an upstairs private party loft, and excellent menu and a kitchen staff that can keep up with over 200+ people. A large green grass lawn is great for kids to run around and there is also an outdoor covered patio with picnic tables. I don't have a copy of their menu, but it is a beauty also. Appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, including some not-regularly-found items. Prices are very reasonable and there are child offerings. Beer and seltzers, with the seltzers coming in many flavors. We tried the pina colada version and it was light, tasty and excellent. I think the alcohol level was about 5%. It is so refreshing that you need to remember that you ARE drinking an alcoholic beverage. Soft drinks, coffee and tea are also offered. Jim and Carin Holliday are the owner operators and John Holliday is the brewmeister. Being a hobby beer maker, I had met and talked with John at the previous Spartanburg location. He is really capable and full of great ideas, so is always experimenting with new brews. Stay tuned as more and more are coming about. You won't get bored with their beer variety. So, kid friendly, comfortable, reasonably priced and pleasant, the new Holliday Brewery is the place to go. Share your experiences. Nice building but unfortunately poor service and adult beverages that were sub-par. Appetizers were okay but nothing to write home about.

I'm giving it 5 stars for the many times we been there, great food and service. But last Saturday night was terrible, the hostess seated us 3 adults 1 child, after 20 minutes no server came to our table, kept walking pass us serving other tables. The hostess who seated us should of been on top of this . We ended up walking out. Should of we been more forceful getting a server but if the night started out like this we weren't very hopeful it would get better. read more

I went my first time about a month ago! The service was excellent! I loved that our server ask if we wanted beer samples. I got the Palmetto Smash Burger and it was delicious. It was cooked well done, which is over cooked for my taste. Must be because it's a smash burger. It was still a tasty burger, but next time I'll order less done. I had some of my friend's sweet potato fries and they were good, plenty for sharing. I got an IPA that was tasty! I'll definitely be going back. read more

This place will get better and I do like their beer, but two stars is where they are right now. The food itself is extremely basic and seems mostly pre-made rather than made in house. Maybe they will branch out and get more creative. But the prices on sides are just stupid. I order a $13 burger and I have to pay $4 for fries or onion rings? Is that just a way to avoid having a $17 single patty 4-5oz burger on the menu? This is Inman, not Main St in Greenville. Ala carte doesn't fit the venue or clientele IMHO. Nice building and friendly staff. No NFL Sunday Ticket so you're limited to what Spectrum has on the tvs.... That removes this place from our list of Sunday options. Music is 80s.... We are here after church for lunch. We didn't have to wait too long and my burger was yummy! I loved the fries, but my little girl said they were "spicy" because they have extra salt and pepper. You do have to pay $4 for fries separate from the burger, but I thought they were worth it! read more

***update I spoke to one of the owners Will. He called an apologized and did discipline the bartender that denied me service. He always gave me his personal number and bought us a round** I was rudely refused service because my authentic drivers license "looked iffy". I served 8 years in the military and I come home to be refused service for a beverage to enjoy with my brothers and sister that I served with. I've never been treated like this at any sort of establishment prior to this and would not recommend supporting this business as of right now. I really hope that these issues can be resolved. read more

If I could give them zero stars, I would. We are in town on vacay and just wanted to go in and have a few beers. We get there and we're told that even though we weren't eating, we couldn't sit at any tables and drink a beer. So, I can go to your business, spend my my money on your beer but I can't sit at any of your empty tables and drink it? Instead, I have to stand. I'm not asking for service. I will be more than happy to go to the bar and get my own beer. But I can't sit down and drink it. I understand that you have an upstairs that is completely empty but I can't go up there because you have to be 21 to go up there and I have my two teenagers. Long story short, there are many empty tables, an empty upstairs but I can't sit at a table and drink a beer. This is so sad and terrible customer service. read more

We went for their first brunch service back at the beginning of March. Overall the food was good! There were some things we got that didn't have everything they said it would have on it, such as the burger didn't have an egg and the French toast wasn't cooked all the way. Terrible burgers and were burned so badly I couldn't even cut it. I opened and all the staff could see it but no one asked about it. Bar tender wasn't personable or helpful. The whole crew was playing on their phones and laughing with each other. 43$ for 2 burnt burgers and not a thank you for coming. We will never go back!!! read more

Had food order for work, we was all excited about burgers and wings we got 4 burgers that was good the wing was a joke they must be killing Benny roosters around there bc the wings was smaller then my pinky ... not worth $1.50 a piece I would be embarrassed to serve wings like that. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the kid's hot dog meal. My son said the hot dog was so amazing that he almost went to heaven. Cheesesteak was very good. Fries are crispy. House hazelnut porter is awesome. Much easier to get a table at lunchtime rather than dinner. read more

Went a week ago and the drinks were terrible. My whole table ordered food and it all came out cold. Doesn't make sense that you pay $14 for a burger and add $4 for a side of fries. $18 for a previously frozen burger will not pass in this area. Also the staff kept giving our food to the wrong tables which didn't make sense. Won't be back for a while :( read more

Creative menu, great taste both times I went. Smash burgers, philly, different salads.

This was our second time there and pretty much the same. The food was excellent as we had the wings and the dbl cheeseburger, awesome. But there is still allot of confusion and bickering at the bar. For example, when we were there last time I asked if they served flights. She said no cause they didn't have enough classes? Then she asked somebody and they said yes so I had a flight. Last night I asked the same and she said the same thing and the button was gone from the screen? So I guess no flights for beer??I got tired of waiting on the bartender for condiments so I asked a couple of kids at the end of the bar and they said if your at the bar its there. I said, no if it were I wouldn't be asking and they gave me some ketchup but ignored my request for salt! A customer asked to put on the browns game and the bartender just said that's not my call! Just seems like the bar is too understaffed but then too many people standing around just talking and complaining. As I said, beer and food are great just staff needs to be trained and more help at the bar. Stop all the bickering in front of customers! read more
