The hush puppies tasted as though they had been prepared earlier in the day and reheated. The baked beans were almost boiling/extremely hot from sitting in a warmer and lacked flavor. Seemed like the beans were straight of the can. Overall, the experience was disheartening because the restaurant clearly has so much potential. The staff and inviting atmosphere are already there, and with some extra TLC, attention to the food quality and consistency, perhaps it could be the great restaurant that it once was.
