I just walked in the door." He then insisted it was "obviously an Uber Eats problem, not an us problem" and condescendingly suggested that "maybe we should try another ordering platform." So, we should find another platform because your restaurant failed to accept the order? Ironically, another employee could be heard telling the manager that multiple Uber Eats drivers were experiencing the same issue. The manager then abruptly hung up on me. Three hours after placing the order, we finally received our food--with half of the order missing. Technology issues happen. Mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is the complete lack of accountability and the way the customer was treated. Add in small portions and food that was honestly underwhelming, and there is simply nothing here that justifies the experience. I wanted to support this business. I really did. But good food cannot compensate for poor customer service, disrespect, and refusing to take responsibility when something clearly goes wrong. What business or establishment, especially restaurants, never return calls to confirm a reservation and leave a message. It's obvious that don't need or want more business. We have never been to Renzo's or The Speak Easy before. And we've lived here for almost 26 years. So we thought we'd enjoy giving this a try. The reviews are really good for this restaurant. But not for me. It's their loss for not responding to a potential gain of atleast a couple of hundred dollars that could have been made if we had gotten a return call. Get it together Renzo's.
