Thank you Climate Care for your quick response. I posted a question on a local Facebook page and I got a quick response from Carol Taylor. She had scheduled a technician to my house within a few hours. Chris Haynes, a senior tech, responded. He was very friendly and helpful and informative. He explained all the processes. He got me up and running real quick. He was fair and honest and affordable. Thank you for being a part of the community and helping its members stay cool during these hot summer months. I definitely recommend. read more

We had a new system put in fairly recently and had our first free visit for six month check in last week. Prior to this visit we had to have multiple things done by climate care's technicians to pass on the permit. One visit that took about 12 hours to complete and no one mentioned to me that it was going to take that long whatsoever so I was stuck at home the entire time when I really couldn't afford to. The next item involved removing out all of our vent covers and sealing them with tape. While I know this is uncomfortable labor, every single vent has tape sticking out and was not cleanly done which means I will be spending a ton of time fixing that myself before I paint. I'm wondering why these things were not done initially, since they needed to be done to pass inspection. During the visit, the technician told me " because you are a VIP customer I am doing XYZ." But halfway through the visit that went away and was replaced by " the other technicians don't do this I am going above and beyond." OK? So which is it? Is it service that I should expect or only service if you were doing it? At the end of the visit I felt really pressured into needing to replace all of my duct work (at 8k, btw!) I said no thank you, like my wife would go for that.. but he was insistent to "make sure to call me, whatever payment you need we will do, here's my personal number." Just really pushy and I absolutely didn't care for that. So once he knew we weren't doing it, he asked for a review. I really do love giving reviews for great service. But when you're insistent about making sure, I know you went above and beyond for me that really irritates me. Go above and beyond because you have pride in your work, but don't make someone pressured into thinking you're only doing it to get them to write a review. Also, don't tell them you're doing something because they are a VIP customer and then change your tune. The new AC system that we received to be honest doesn't work a whole lot better than the one that they said we had to replace. You've got a really great sales person and unfortunately I think a lot of people are getting scammed into replacing their systems. Based on the various experiences I've had to deal with this company. I won't be doing business with them anymore. Too much wasted time and steps that they should have taken initially. I would write more, but I've got to go fix all the tape work, and all the scratches on my ceiling from the razor blade cutting the vents off... read more

I had one of my A/C units finally go out on me after 22 yrs. I decided I wanted my whole system replaced to include furnace & both A/C units. I called Climate Care to come out assess my HVAC system and give me quote to replace it all. Chris, my service tech, came out assessed my system, gave me a repair quote then gave me a quote to replace my whole system. Chris was both patient & fair (not pushy like a car salesman). I give him credit because it took quite (2 hours) a while to finally sign on the dotted line. We negotiated a fair price which also included a whole house fan. I also wanted to mention Climate Care installation team (Alan, Robbie, Danny, & Ronald). They were very professional and proficient. They were at my house bright & early (7:30am) and completed the installation by 2:30pm. They installed two A/C units, furnace, and a whole house fan. I was very impressed in the way they conducted themselves. They answered all my questions about my new system. Their install was both quick and clean. No hiccups! It's been almost a week since the install. I love my new system especially my whole house fan. Yes, any new system will cost an arm & a leg but it's worth it. Needless to say, I'm a happy customer. I recommend Climate Care to anyone needing HVAC repair or replacement. read more

Richard Samkas, the technician that sold me the whole house fan, (which really made a big difference this past Summer) came over, as promised, to inspect my furnace for this coming Winter season. Climate Care is so pleasant to work with, from the receptionist, schedulers, installers, and technicians. All are pleasant, well groomed and cleanup after each job. All was clearly explained. I will keep watch on certain things that were pointed out and coached on proper operation. Good experience from start to finish. Hope to have an ongoing relationship with Climate Care as long as necessary. read more

Yesterday I wrote a Review praising Climate Care for their service. I would like to thank them for repairing our AC. These hot days have been brutal. But I am very disappointed with Climate Care regarding the cost for the part and replacement of the part. I don't mind paying for service, but $345.00 is to much to replace a part that was only $17.97 on Amazon. Taking advantage of women, and or seniors is unacceptable. Replacing the part and washing 2 grates and washing off the unit outside is to much.........Mary W. read more

Our AC just wouldnt turn on and we called for check up. The guy they sent, Allan was very professional. He introduced himdelf and confirmed the owners of the house before he started working on our AC. He worked on it for almost 5 hrs, going up & down the exhaust putting on & off his shoe covers. I think he extended his working hours (8:30pm) just to finish the job. We are so greateful to have the AC working in this hot summer season! Thank you Allan read more

Today we had Richard Samkas from Climate Care come out to our house to address our HAVC questions and concerns. Richard is so knowledgeable, personable and professional taking the time to explain and answer all of the questions we had. We called for a a quote to replace our Air system. Our technician was Juan, He was very friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. He gave great recommendations on how we should move forward with our AC system. He wasn't pushy or forceful in his sales pitch. From my initial call to their office through to completion of the install I've had excellent service! And all in less than one week. Richard was great in explaining replacement options for our 24 year old system and scheduled a prompt install. The crew arrived on time, Ron and Marcos did an amazing job in getting our old system out and the new system up and running. Working in the attic on hot days cannot be pleasant but they were always in good spirits. Marcos installed a new hot water heater, did a great job! And Kevin worked hard with them on the first day. And they are good humans, helping my husband into his wheelchair, I'm so grateful for their help! And our new system works great!! Thank you Climate Care team! read more

Contacted them as came recommended by people on facebook community page. Original appointment was 5-7pm and they called to come earlier; super excited because hot as hell and eager to get a quote to replace outside coil unit. Technician was "Richie" who met us and tried to upsell us on a whole house fan unit. Then proceeded to ask whether we are just calling to get quotes; obviously yes because we do due diligence to get 2-3 quotes. He got aggravated and then pressured us to use them and told us "will give you $1000 off if you move forward with me today, and I don't have to give you the $1000 off." WTF, who interacts like this to earn business. In addition tried to have us finance at 9%; what an assumption as were were going to pay all up front but didn't even get to that part. Let's just say home mortgages are at 2-3%, auto loans are 1-5%, and this 9% is a rip. He ended up storming off the premises and closed his notebook. Was pushing us for a price we wanted to spend and he would call owner to get approval. How the heck would I know, that's the whole point of getting an estimate. Needless to say, was very eager but now very disappointed. Definitely going with another company after this negative interaction. I get there have been other satisfied clients, but being treated like this is pretty bad. Subsequently we received two additional quotes from other licensed and reputable HVAC companies that quoted (use your imagination) 30-45% less. We ended up getting a Trane 5 ton system with another company 40% less. All i can say is do your homework and do not get pressured to sign the same day. We do appreciate him calling back to apologize for his actions, so hopefully this will not happen to another potential client. read more

Climate Care's Senior Technician, Richard Samkas, was just here at my home giving our air conditioner the once over. To be honest, I wasn't happy with the news. But then, not surprised either. Our system is 26 years old and no amount of care (we have done our best) is going to keep your furnace and air conditioner from aging. My favorite thing about our discussion after he was finished was seeing pictures of the insides of my machinery along with explanations of what I was looking at. He was very thorough and thoughtful in sharing the bad news with us, trying to make his suggestions of solutions as easy to swallow as possible. The company offers a very nice "club" that will get your system checked out twice a year for a very reasonable price that we joined. The goal being to keep the equipment in the best possible condition. Yea for worry-free maintenance! I highly recommend Richard and Climate Care as a good source for your HVAC needs. Give them a call! read more
