Our Ducts were aging and inefficient. Juan provided us with a plan within our current budget so we could replace them immediately. The Climate Care crew was on time, Alan, Ron and Victor were ready to go to work with all tools, and materials ready and in the van. Thoroughly organized to complete the job in a timely and competent manner. They were thoughtful of our property and contents, covering all work areas with clean tarps to protect all articles in the surrounding areas where they were working. Respectful of myself, my wife, and home, asking questions to ensure they knew where everything was located that needed their attention. They advised me of the work they would perform and what was needed to ensure there were no delays in finishing our project. They completed the project in under 8 hours, cleaned up all areas by sweeping and vacuuming, provided pictures of the work they performed and left our home and system in absolutely perfect condition and working order. Thank guys, you and the installation work was AWESOME!! read more

Honestly I don't really remember how I found these guys but they made it happen. Our furnace went out the day before thanksgiving I set up an appointment on Monday They cane the next day (actually 4 hours early). I had dealt with 5 or more contractors about this project but decided just replace the whole system. Chris made it the easiest, made me feel like a got a good deal and was the least cheesy salesman. Signed all the paperwork while he was there and done. The install crewed showed up the next morning at 8:45am and were done at 6:30 pm. Juan was nice and did quality work, he kept a good attitude even though I know it was a pain. I Called Chris weeks later with a question about rebates, he answered, had the office email me what I needed and called back to follow up. read more

NEVER EVER CONSIDER THIS COMPANY! All I wanted was my AC unit tuned up before summer and they had sent a coupon in the mail. After the tune up the salesman claims there is a long list of issues and if I don't replace my AC unit right away he GURANTEED the unit will blow up before summer is over. That guarantee was a clear red flag this company hires shady pushy sales people and sure enough I was right 1 year later my AC unit has not blown up and is working fine. Second issue NEVER EVER give them your phone number because they will spam you to death with calls, voicemails and text messages. They refuse to remove my number from their call list and it's literally impossible to block their number because they use a call center with endless possibilities so I'm literally stuck being harassed by them for the rest of my life; I've blocked 12 of their numbers so far and just got a call and text from a new 13th Climate Care number. read more

Thank you Climate Care! Chris Hayes came out to take a look at our AC unit. He was thorough and explained the problems and solution to us. He even played bat noises on his phone up in my attic as a joke. Great sense of humor, freaked me out a bit though lol. Thanks for your great customer service. Wholeheartedly recommend them for all your AC and heating needs. read more

We had senior service tech Richard Samkas out to our home to do a $39 AC tune up, we bought the home 2 years ago and never serviced the system, my wife and I suspected there was not enough cold air coming out of the supply registers so we called Climate Care from a flyer we received in the mail offering a $39 AC tune up! We called the Climate Care office and they sent out Richard Samkas! We suspected there was an issue and prepared for the worse! Richard was very honest and thorough, he found a filter in the bottom of our furnace that has never been changed since we lived here for the past few years. Richards knowledge helped us to understand that the dirty filter was restricting most of the air that should have been supplied to the home! He removed the filter and the air is blowing like we have never felt before! Thanks Richard for making our home much cooler with way more air flow from doing your companies $39 AC tune up! Richard is honest, trustworthy, and completely on top of his game! Thanks for everything Richard Samkas! Your the man! read more

It's been approximately 3 months since they installed us a "brand new system" and I've already had problems with it TWICE . First I must say... my parents AC needed a brand new replacement as well.. but they paid $5000 LESS than mine. And their AC is literally BLASTING with cool air. So I feel like I got played there. I honestly should of went with my parents company.. ANYWAYS, we got a brand new system put in and it was working fine for the first few weeks. Then I noticed it stopped getting cool but continuously blowing out air. I thought nothing of it and went on for a couple more weeks. Even My guests start to complain that my house is hot and humid. So I called climate care to have a tech come take a look. He came , looked around, open vents, Clean the big unit outside, clean the filter, and did whatever else he did that I wasn't paying much attention of. Anyways, after he left it was fine for a week.. (that was two weeks ago) Last week, I noticed the same thing happening again . Taking long to cool down to set temp or not even reaching the set temp at all. (Even after following the advice Oscar gave me since I have dual unit; one must either be off while the other is on or one must be set at a much higher temp while the other one is cooling..) it didn't work... instead the house is getting hotter. I ignored it for a couple days. Thought it was just me. Well just yesterday my husband was outside and notice the pipe/faucet that usually drips water when our AC is on , wasnt dripping anything. As a matter of fact it's dried out completely (which is not good). So today before leaving the house we turn the AC on and set it at 75. We left the house since 11AM. We got back at 10PM and our house was at 79 degrees. What?! It is now 1AM and it went up 1 degree so it's now at 80. I just set the temp down to 73 but the AC just keeps going. It hasn't turn off at all... and the house isn't cooling down either. (Imagine our PG&E bill) We are so uncomfortable. We have our fans on but it really isn't doing much. It is so inconvenient to stress about this "brand new unit" from them. I called them and left a VM hoping to have someone come out today since I'm off. Im honestly just a bit irritated at this point because we put in so much money for this "BRAND NEW SYSTEM" just to keep stressing "when is the next time I have to call climate care again because it isn't doing what it's supposed to do"... it's a brand new system... we shouldn't have to go thru this yet! Update : they were able to get someone out the same day! And that's what I love most about this place. But anyways, tech was able to find a leak that needed to be replaced since the first techs did not put enough of something and it caused a slow leakage of the cool air. Now just hoping that's it and I won't have to call them again. Thank you Oscar! read more

We called Climate Care for them to perform a tuneup on our HVAC system. Chris Hayes showed up on time and was very friendly and professional from the moment he called to inform us that he was on his way. He inspected our system (and made the necessary recommendations) to keep our HVAC system in working order. Thank you, Chris! For starters climate care came in thousands less than any other bid to replace our heating and air conditioning system. They scheduled an appointment within two days and had it installed in less than a week from when I initially called. From the salesman to the guys that came to do the installation they were professional polite and respectful. The guys even went out of their way to help keep my dogs from running in and out of the doors so they didn't have to be in the kennel all day long. They didn't try to tell me they had to rebuild half of my house in order for me to have an air conditioner this summer like most companies did. There was no used car salesmansalesman hard sell. I highly recommend this company. I found them from a flyer in the mail and couldn't be happier that I gave them a call. read more

Would give 1 star but they made an appointment on very short notice. Very disappointed in their service. Our Compressor stopped working. The technician came out and said our evap coil unit had seized up and we had to spend 10-15k for a entire new system. Had another company come out a couple days later. Within 5 minutes determined the compressor wasn't turning on because a fuse blew. Spent 80 bucks instead of 10 grand. Glad I got a second opinion and didn't get sucked into buying stuff we don't need. read more

My elderly mother in law had a problem with her air conditioning on a 105 degree day so I called a well known ac and plumbing company. They gave me the run around and kept connecting me to different people who kept increasing the cost. I got 3 quotes on the same phone call by 3 different people and nobody could answer my questions. I then called Climate Care and Gerardo took excellent care of us. They came out within 24 hours and had a new ac on her home the next day. The customer service was the best I've experienced. They were courteous, professional and took very good care of us. Thank you so much for the excellent service! read more

Climate Care is the best in the business. We made a call to them Tuesday asking for an inspection as we felt like our AC system was not operating properly. On Thursday, the Senior Tech Chris Hayes came out, checked everything and confirmed that our system was on its way out. He explained all of the issues and walked us through my options. After deliberating, We chose to get the new system. So Chris called his team and had his crew Alan and Marcus installing the new system the following day (Friday)! It took his crew two days and we could not be happier. Great customer service, kept us updated on the progress and ensured that we were happy with all modifications. We highly recommend Climate Care for all Heating and Air issues. read more

Outstanding service!! Senior Service Tech; Richard Samkas I've had several quotes to replace my AC system. Needed a system for the future and still stay within budget. After receiving several disappointing quotes, I met with Richard (Climate Care). Richard scoped the job and gave me several different options. I chose the option best suited for my needs. Richard and I then spoke with the company owner (Great guy!). We determined what was needed to meet both budget and future needs in reference to cooling and heating. These guys are great, answered all my questions. Sensitive to cost and comfort. I even decided to install a "Quiet Cool" whole house fan. In conclusion; I purchased an upgraded AC system with a whole house fan at the same price as quoted by the competitors for a step down quality AC system that didn't include a whole house fan. Call Richard Samkas and let him set you and your family up with a great system at a comfortable budget. read more

Excellent customer service. The techician that made the initial house call was Chris. Thank you Chris!!! He was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. He let me make my decision based on the facts and wasn't pushy. He was able to work with me finacially to what package was suited for my home. Every step of the way was what was promised by Chris. Chris made the housecall on Friday and my new heating and cooling system was installed by saturday afternoon. It's starting to get hot now and we are now enjoying our new system. Chris and Climate Care are willing to go the extra mile to provide 5 star service I highly recomend them. I just happen to see their advertisement by the freeway while passing by Lathrop. I just want to say thank you to Climate Care and Oscar for helping my family out as quickly and professionally as possible. I had my AC checked by someone that told me what he thought was wrong with it and then left my kids and I in the heat because he didn't have the part. Oscar came out right away and stayed until he knew what was wrong and had a solution for me. He went over all options they had for units, and different ways to finance it and made sure I had what best fit our needs at a reasonable price. They were able to schedule to replace the whole system within a couple of days, and took into account that I had kids in the home. Finally someone affordable and another thing the service was impeccable. My girl friend was in his ear telling him what she thought it was and what he was going to need to do, as embarrassing as it was to me, he was very respectful, listened to her and then did the exact opposite of what she said and fixed our AC. Finally my house isnt as hot as hell. Thanks Mark read more

I have had a few issues with miscommunication on the tune ups but a mgr explained everything about lint outlet so close to the unit they installed. The unit itself is GREAT - heat and air change out for new. It's all beautiful. However, today the tune up person kept on me about; look at this video, it's only so long, and here sign up annual plan. I kept explaining I had to work. I kept explaining until it upset me that he was insisting on me looking at his documents instead of letting me do my work. I was off in 25 minutes but he kept insisting. With the CLIMATE in our country, I want to tell this young man, if a WOMAN TELLS YOU NO IT MEANS NO. NO MEANS NO. I had to tell him to leave, and several times at that, then I got scared, and my voice heightened, and he finally left. I called the manager Carmen who didn't really see the big picture or the fact when a woman says NO SHE MEANS NO! I will never do business with men who are aggressive and won't take no for an answer. I'm very upset right now, and do not want them back here for any reason. read more

I usually never write reviews or anything of this sort, but I created this account today for this reason. I was searching online for an AC company online. Climate Care was my second choice due to 4 stars not 5 like Airway Heating. I liked their website and they had a nice deal on ac service. I say what the heck and give them a call. Little did I know I was headed towards a migraine. We schedule an appointment, I made it clear that me nor my wife would be home and my mother in law would due to the fact that I work 6 to 7 days a week. I get a call at work saying the tech will be late and that they are sorry. That's nothing and I say no problem. The technician shows up and questions why the owner isn't home and says he cannot work or inspect anything. They call me at work and says he cannot do anything but he will let me know after he calls the office. I get a call later from my mother in law saying the tech left but LEFT BEHIND THE BILL TO BE PAID. Now I call the office and i'm pretty upset at this point. They reassure me that I wont have to pay and if I would like to reschedule. I decline the offer in a rude way, but 30 minutes later I feel bad and give them a call. I reschedule for the next week on a day I know my wife will be home so we have no problems. PERFECT, NO ONE SHOWS UP AT ALL AND WE GET NO CALL NOTHING. Very unprofessional, I recommend Airway Heating they will actually show up. No I do not wan't to make the situation better, I don't want the owner responding to this post. I already got the run around for a few days to "make things better" my wife's day got wasted as well. This is to inform people that even though they have a great ac service add, they only care if you are home so they can up sell he most they can. P.S- I probably would have paid for everything the tech would have recommended without even thinking twice. I just wanted my AC to be good for the rest of the year. read more

I had a tech (IVAN) come out on Saturday morning to talk to my husband while I was at work. My husband asked if permits and labor where included in the price the tech was offering. Tech said yes, also offers $500 off the whole price. My husband asks if he could have a quote written down with the parts that would be installed, but the techs says he can't give him that. Husband calls me later telling it was a good deal, which I agreed too. I just thought it was odd that he couldn't give him a written quote. I asked if the tech can return so we can further discuss and actually sign the contact. Tech offered to come back at 4pm but I was still at work. So hubby schedule another appt for Monday so I can ask some questions and to sign the contact, Tech (IVAN) comes in and ask to see if my husband told me about the offer? I told him yes and he asked what did he tell you? I was a bit confused by the question so I smiled and jokingly said wait do you not remember what your offered him? He then said no that he want to verify to make sure we were on the same page. I told him you offered the trident pro 3.3 and offered a $500 off any of the fans we choose to go with. He shrugged that off and then stated that there was a deal that the city could do a rebate. I asked how much was the city offering? Which he couldn't tell me, he then stated he would have to call his boss to check what's the best deal he can offer. I then asked about attic fans and honestly it felt like I knew a lot more of the products then he did since I kept on correcting him the attic fans functions. After that he asked if he wanted me to call his boss to see if he can get us a good deal and said sure. His boss told him no, that the price was set and there was no discount apart from the rebate from quiet cool company. He then asked if we wanted to proceed so I asked if his boss mention the price of rebate from the city? He then stated that the rebate for the city was not worth it since they would then have to pull permits and that would be an addition cost. Red flags came up since everything he told me husband was contradicted, bo wonder he couldn't present my husband a written quote. I told him I didn't understand how everything changed from 2 days apart? He apologized says he got mixed up with a different offer, that was his fault. I told him I'm sorry but I couldn't go forward with it. Told me call him back if I change my mind since it was a good deal and that prices will go up. I'm sorry but after the wishywashy encounter I definitely will not contact them for further services.. read more

Had them come out to check our unit that was having problems. R**** showed up and looked only at the furnace but did not go and look at air conditioning unit. He claimed we need a whole new unit for 12,500 or a 5,000 bandaid repair that would not last. During the inspection of the furnace he was next to a bedroom. I was not home for the estimate I had my mom there for it. When I came home the drawers to a night stand were both unlatched and opened. A bottle of lotion that was on top of my night stand was now inside the top open drawer. My mom was not in that room and did not open the drawers. They have to be "opened" they do not just slide open on their own. NO ONE else was in the house that day. I called the office and told them what had happened and was sickened to know some stranger was in the bedroom sneaking through drawers. The assistant manager was also appalled and would let the owner know. One of the owners called my elderly mother instead of me and started pressuring her to take of her yelp review of the incident and he would send her the camera that worker had on. He called back and was harassing her and I took the phone and had enough. He thinks he can just bully an elderly woman and had no idea I was on the phone. The owner began yelling at me saying if I put this review up he is calling a lawyer. I am here to tell customers that this happened, I now do not feel safe. He has someone working for him that is going through women's drawers. The owner thinks he can call and intimidate an elderly woman and threaten me. Beware of this company. read more

Unfortunately my A/C unit broke recently during the first heat wave of this Summer where temperatures in Sacramento soared above 107 degrees. I contacted Climate Care and they not only were able to squeeze me in for a system diagnostics that same day after hours but also were able to replace the entire unit within 48 hours at a very reasonable price. The speed in which they were able to order and replace my system in the middle of a heat wave is Impressive. I could not even get any other company to come out for a diagnostic nevertheless an entire unit replacement. Once I found out that my entire system would require a full replacement, I had multiple companies provide me with their quotes for replacement and they came no where near Climate Care's initial replacement pricing. The closest bid was almost $2,000 more expensive then Climate Care. I was so impressed with their expedient service, knowledge, and execution that I signed up for their A/C maintenance program which provides twice a year maintenance to AC units. Thanks Climate Care! read more
