The food here is pretty good and the drinks are decent. They have happy hour from 3pm to 5pm daily, so if you want drinks at a bargain, hit this place up. The staff is friendly and pretty attentive. Really, really good Mahi Mahi! Cooked to perfection! We ordered the fish tacos and the salad with Mahi Mahi and both were very good! The Cole slaw with the tacos was kind of weird and not the best flavor but the fish was amazing! Can't beat cold beer and great food right out of the pool! read more

We came here to rent a Cabana on the beach and stayed for some drinks. This hotel has a great pool and beach vibe. Highly recommend coming here for a good afternoon beach day and poolside cocktails. Recommend the chicken skewers they were amazing. read more

Nachos are amazing. We loved them and being able to sit by the pool and see Black Rock was awesome. We went during sunset and it was breathtaking. For being resort food, it was really good compared to a lot of other places. It was a good price for the amount of food that we got. Service was great and overall our meal was great. read more

Just are here today (1/17/14). We sat down at 6:00PM, ordered at 6:30pm and didn't get our apps until 7:15pm. My wife ordered a pulled pork sandwich entree and a Cesar salad as an appetizer to start (we would eventually split the salad) . I ordered the 3 skewer entree. There isn't enough wait staff. We counted 30 tables or so and only 1 waitress. So, the delay of food and ordering is slightly due in part to the customer to staff ratio. The Cesar salad wasn't anything special. You could likely make a better version of it at home. My wife's pulled pork sandwich was good. My skewers : I ordered the shrimp, sirloin and mahi mahi. The dish came to the table "Luke warm", as if it had been sitting for a bit before being served. The steak was cooked well. The shrimp was also cooked well. The mahi mahi was not cooked all the way; it was raw on the inside. I don't mind sushi, however it's a bit "shocking" to order a grilled item to have it served raw. All in all, go there for the drinks and sunset. If you want decent bar food, it's worth a try, although there are plenty of other places on front street or the near by boardwalk which may hit a true home run. read more

The food was wonderful! Was just a little unsettling with the service. A family before us came, and I guess the waitress said to choose any empty table. The table in front of us that they took, still had dishes, and was very unclean, and the waitress did not bother to clean that up first. I knew it took more than a minute because we were waiting and looking for a table. It was a little uncomfortable too, because we had to go around, walk through tight spaces to find an empty table rather than having a nice waitress help us out instead. Went to this place yesterday...super annoyed. After waiting for more than 30 Min and paying an arm and a leg for a takeout order, I finally got my food. They messed up my order--I asked for plain nachos and they gave me pork. Since I'm a vegetarian, I took it back immediately. I was told that they could make new ones, but I'd have to get behind everyone else in the queue because "all these people have been waiting" (I guess I don't count as a person who'd been waiting?). I argued with her a bit, but to no avail--they messed up my order, but I have to wait as if I was putting in a brand new order? Huge waste of time and money. read more

We stayed at the Westin and were under whelmed by the Sheraton but wanted to see the cliff dive. When we got there this bar is really like a pool bar vs a restaurant. Men was small and highly priced. It also wasn't that good. Waitress seemed tired and not super aloha. We got there about 40 minutes to sunset and were glad we did because it was full when we left. There were kids on the rocks jumping off so by the time they did the torch lighting and the hawaiian jumped - it was really anticlimatic. So, as a review I'd say don't waste your time. If you do go - go early, have a drink and an appetizer and eat dinner elsewhere. read more

Arrived at 8pm--15 minutes ahead of"last call". Ordered two soft drinks and two appetizers. It took 40 minutes to get the food. It took 20 minutes to get the drinks after ordering. The hummus appetizer was unremarkable. The chicken wings were cold and tasteless. Service was awful. Prices were high as the total bill was $38. OK, I get it....Maui, resort, etc. but, you expect a bit more from a high end Starwood / Sheraton property. Other choices abound. I would recommend most anywhere else. read more

This is a great location for viewing the sunset and having a drink. I can't say I can recommend the food. We ordered the nachos and unfortunately the portion sizes were very small... Like 20 chips on a plate. The chips were greasy. They frequently have music and it is very good and viewing the cliff dive at sunset is fun:) read more
