The wranglers (Kay and Lee) did not verbally apologize for any mistake made the entire time. Mistake #1 being late Mistake #2 forgetting the list of who goes on what horse Mistake #3 getting lost People were so sore and tired of being on their horse (at least 4 hours worth) that they were walking while leading their horse. Some people fell, got pushed around by their horse, etc. It was a mess. The trip did not seem planned at all. Our lunch break was just us getting off the horse and eating while standing by our horses in a very narrow trail. Not to mention it didn't seem like either of the wranglers have been on that trail recent enough to remember it. The horses were very nice, they just didn't seem to listen that day and it seemed our wranglers couldn't do anything about it. With more organization and planning the trip would have been fine. In my opinion, there should have been planned stopping points and more communication from the wranglers to the riders throughout the trail to check on us.

We came yesterday and I genuinely can't stop thinking about how special it was…read more I called last minute in the afternoon after my little one woke up from his nap, not really expecting much -- but they fit us in that same day. From the moment we arrived, Ray made us feel so welcome. He had the horse ready for us, walked us through everything, and was so patient and attentive making sure my little one felt safe and comfortable the whole ride. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does. What we didn't expect was everything that came after. We got to explore the petting zoo, meet the farm animals, and then a staff member came over and introduced us to a baby goat that was only a few days old, my little one's face was absolutely priceless. And then the moment that made this visit truly unforgettable, while my son was laughing away on the horse shaped tire swing, I glanced over and noticed a wobbly little goat behind us. Turns out we were witnessing a mama goat giving birth right there in front of us. Completely unplanned, totally magical. My little one got a nature lesson he'll probably never forget. This place has the most wonderful energy and the staff clearly care deeply about both the animals and their guests. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

I'm an experienced rider and my husband is a beginner, and our guide, Dave, did a fantastic job matching us with horses (and a mule!) that fit our individual experience levels. He also tailored the trail and ride to our abilities, which made the experience fun and memorable for both of us. For our second ride, it had been raining quite a bit, so Dave took us on a one-hour route where the trails were dry enough and safe for the horses. We really appreciated that their safety and well-being came first, and we still had an amazing time. Both rides were such a highlight of our trip. Thank you, Dave, for being such a great guide and for making us feel so welcome in Blue Ridge! We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in the area

She let me ride her horse ~ "Faith" she was a sweetheart They have 7 horses to choose from based on your style of ride. The Farm Owner is so cool, just a perfect gentleman and loving guy ~ Harold, who came along for the ride and showed me his place. 175 acres of Tennessee's finest land tucked away in the back mountains with Black Angus grazing the land, oh and one special brown Jersey named "Amy" Breath taking views, 2 ponds with a really cool tree forest next to them. I got the blessing of having both Jess and Harold to guide me giving me the lay out of the land. Horses were great, beautiful animals because of course Jesse takes care of them like their her babies They do events there too - weddings, church services, family gatherings due to the beauty of the place. I recommend this place and will go back. There's nothing like being around folks who you feel like you've known for years - that's Jesse and Harold Lastly, the charge was $30 bucks for an hour which beats all of the rest big time and Jesse went over the time too on the trail ride. My husband, my son and I took the 2 hour Valley River Ride. My son and I have never been on a horse before and Jess made me feel so comfortable riding with her instructions and passion that I didn't feel nervous at all. The prices are fair, the horses are well taken care of and trained, the staff are awesome and it was just an all around great experience. It was a beautiful ride and if we are in the area again I will definitely use Cowgirl Up Stables again.

I called the phone number directly listed with the business 5 days before, left a voicemail and also messaged the auto-response that prompts you to text should you need anything. No one got back to me for five full days, until the morning of my booking. Magan the owner emailed me saying I didn't follow instructions, and took effectively no ownership of ignoring my voicemail for five days. I understand I didn't follow an incredibly narrow policy of 'emailing the confirmation email to cancel' and honestly would have been fine paying some cancelation fee as ultimately I did miss the unbelievably specific instruction in the email... What makes me genuinely upset, and even frustrated, was the level of professionalism and communication I was met with. Magan dodged any responsibility to overtly neglecting the phone number that she listed with her business, and said I ignored instructions, meanwhile ignoring all my outreach well in advance. If you don't answer your phone or check your voicemails, you shouldn't have a phone number listed with your business. Furthermore, she then never told me she still processed the charge - just that I "didn't follow instructions" and went ahead and charged my card without informing me No response, no respect, no professionalism whatsoever. My Airbnb recommended this place and after what I experienced on the admin side alone, I've let them know they should change their guidebook. I'm genuinely sad - it looked like it would have been fun. I have total respect for people's time and effort (hence why I called five days prior right when I found out about my friend) and would have been fine paying a portion of the fee had the interaction felt at all like there was respect or professionalism.
