Georgia Frontiers - Me & Rusty!

It's been a while since I've been on a horse and this was the first ride for my kiddo. Before I forget to mention the barn is equipped with helmets if you would like one which is so awesome! After filling out the paperwork they give a brief tutorial before your ride on how to stop/start/ guide the horse to do what you want which was really helpful. The horses were so sweet and gentle my daughter rode Simon, I rode Rusty, and my husband got Bella. The trail was great a little narrow at times between trees but the horses definitely kept us on track and going smoothly. My husband ended up getting the sweetest horse who loved to stop every couple of minutes for snacks so every time we looked back he was a bit behind us lol! It made for a great moment that we will remember and laugh about for years to come! Our guide was very knowledgeable and great with my daughter who despite being nervous beforehand rode like she had been riding her whole life! Proud mama moment for sure!! Their barn cat greeted us when we got back and was all purrs & brushing up against our legs such a little cutie (check out the picture). We got to meet all of the other horses and fed our horses a treat in their buckets after the ride! We had a fantastic time and we really enjoyed the horses and the beautiful scenery! If you love horses whether you're a beginner or just want a great spot to get back in the saddle check this place out for sure! It's a blast!!

We came yesterday and I genuinely can't stop thinking about how special it was…read more I called last minute in the afternoon after my little one woke up from his nap, not really expecting much -- but they fit us in that same day. From the moment we arrived, Ray made us feel so welcome. He had the horse ready for us, walked us through everything, and was so patient and attentive making sure my little one felt safe and comfortable the whole ride. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does. What we didn't expect was everything that came after. We got to explore the petting zoo, meet the farm animals, and then a staff member came over and introduced us to a baby goat that was only a few days old, my little one's face was absolutely priceless. And then the moment that made this visit truly unforgettable, while my son was laughing away on the horse shaped tire swing, I glanced over and noticed a wobbly little goat behind us. Turns out we were witnessing a mama goat giving birth right there in front of us. Completely unplanned, totally magical. My little one got a nature lesson he'll probably never forget. This place has the most wonderful energy and the staff clearly care deeply about both the animals and their guests. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

We got there early and got to pet the goats and feed them. There were chickens, ducks, and bunnies. Emily and Hunter had their cute dogs there who were fun to play with. The instructions were fast but easy to learn and our ride went super well. Thank you for great customer service and a great experience!

Get there and was greeted by Miss Jesse She is the perfect picture of southern hospitality and genuine southern charm, a real champ and blessing to have met. She let me ride her horse ~ "Faith" she was a sweetheart They have 7 horses to choose from based on your style of ride. The Farm Owner is so cool, just a perfect gentleman and loving guy ~ Harold, who came along for the ride and showed me his place. 175 acres of Tennessee's finest land tucked away in the back mountains with Black Angus grazing the land, oh and one special brown Jersey named "Amy" Breath taking views, 2 ponds with a really cool tree forest next to them. I got the blessing of having both Jess and Harold to guide me giving me the lay out of the land. Horses were great, beautiful animals because of course Jesse takes care of them like their her babies They do events there too - weddings, church services, family gatherings due to the beauty of the place. I recommend this place and will go back. There's nothing like being around folks who you feel like you've known for years - that's Jesse and Harold Lastly, the charge was $30 bucks for an hour which beats all of the rest big time and Jesse went over the time too on the trail ride. If and when you go please be sure to give a good tip because they deserve it. Cary

After driving 4 miles on a windy/steep road you arrive at the barn. There is an intro with instructions before you get on the horse but it is very faced-paced and there is no chance to "meet" your horse or practice your skills before taking off. Our guide quickly introduced herself but we didn't get any interaction with her, it was all fast-paced. The guide did remind us throughout the ride of relevant instructions. I did the 2 hour trail ride, it was a good amount of time and very peaceful. My horse was Redjack and he was the last in line of a group of 7. He liked going at his own pace but would respond when I instructed him. Being last in the line made it difficult to hear everything the guide said. Before we attempted trotting she gave us quick instructions and I felt very insecure once the horses took off on a trot. Once we got back to the barn the next group was getting ready to go out, it seemed kind of like an assembly line. The check-out afterwards felt awkward where the guide took our payment, she did not act appreciative when I left a tip. They have a sign at the checkout where you can get a discount if you leave a review so I would suspect this has inflated their amount of 5-star reviews. Overall the ride was nice but I did not leave feeling like I had a good customer service experience or got any interaction/knowledge from the guide or interaction with the horse other than riding it.

Rolling Ridge Farm - Beautiful indoor arena

We have leased a horse from her for the past 2 years and couldn't be more happy with the affordability and flexibility that she offers. Very friendly and accommodating to any and everyone that is lucky enough to be part of our barn family. The indoor arena is amazing and the horses have beautiful pastures to play in. All in all, I would definitely recommend RRF.

I wish that I had a review to read before I moved my horse there. When I first saw the barn, I…read moreknew that it definitely wasn't fancy, which was fine, but it was dirty and had tons of cobwebs. There are some stalls in the big barn and more on the side of the barn. The owner Tatum Williams meets you with a smile on her face, which I unfortunately fell for. It was quiet when I was there visiting, but I noticed that the stalls were dirty, but yet she was telling me that they clean it twice a day. Hmmmm...first red flag I ignored. Flies everywhere....second red flag I ignored. Yes, I'm a total idiot for not have taken the first two out twenty red flags seriously. I gave excuses like, she was too busy, maybe the help didn't show up, it's hot and there's usually lots of flies, right? To get straight to the point, her price of boarding enticed me, her deceiving pleasant smile, and she said all the right things and "seemed" knowledgeable. Stupid me, stupid me. I did move my horse there, and boy did I REGRET it. While being there, I saw how disorganized it was, and as an example the feed buckets that were used daily, were never washed out, flies all over them, while they were thrown about around the washing area. I saw more of the property and pastures while boarding there, and there was a lot of fencing like damaged wire fencing, with the rusted barbed wire on top, with horse hairs stuck in it. Did I check that before? NO. If you have a request for Tatum Williams, anything, even if it seems easy and simple, forget it!; She will not grant it, unless it is exactly her way; and her way of thinking is, "Way out there!". You'll do fine if you just keep your mouth shut and not ask for anything; if you could do this or that, she'll be normal. But any LITTLE thing that is not in her "way of thinking", you will see another person emerge. Remember that nice pleasant face-cut to AHHHHHH! If you're looking for a clean, well-run barn, where your horses are cared for, this is NOT the place for you. After being there awhile, I was able to THANK GOD find a caring place, that takes fantastic care of your horse in an "orderly" fashion, and you have a nice open relationship and friendship with the barn owner. There is so much I can say, but to keep this review from getting too long, "Protect your horse and avoid this place at all costs!" I hope this review helps you from putting your horse in harms way, physically, it's health and safety, and it's happiness. Oh, and don't let the picturesque photos on her website fool you. They fooled me.
