Ocoee Horseride - After our ride

She has no riding experience and they gave her a very gentle horse. She loved the scenery-that area of TN is stunning! She loved it so much she's asked to have this gifted to her every year on her birthday and Christmas!

Beautiful trails however very disappointed in lack of planning…read more Our wranglers told us to show up early, only to arrive an hour after the original planned time. The wranglers (Kay and Lee) did not verbally apologize for any mistake made the entire time. Mistake #1 being late Mistake #2 forgetting the list of who goes on what horse Mistake #3 getting lost People were so sore and tired of being on their horse (at least 4 hours worth) that they were walking while leading their horse. Some people fell, got pushed around by their horse, etc. It was a mess. The trip did not seem planned at all. Our lunch break was just us getting off the horse and eating while standing by our horses in a very narrow trail. Not to mention it didn't seem like either of the wranglers have been on that trail recent enough to remember it. The horses were very nice, they just didn't seem to listen that day and it seemed our wranglers couldn't do anything about it. With more organization and planning the trip would have been fine. In my opinion, there should have been planned stopping points and more communication from the wranglers to the riders throughout the trail to check on us.

It's been a while since I've been on a horse and this was the first ride for my kiddo. Before I forget to mention the barn is equipped with helmets if you would like one which is so awesome! After filling out the paperwork they give a brief tutorial before your ride on how to stop/start/ guide the horse to do what you want which was really helpful. The horses were so sweet and gentle my daughter rode Simon, I rode Rusty, and my husband got Bella. The trail was great a little narrow at times between trees but the horses definitely kept us on track and going smoothly. My husband ended up getting the sweetest horse who loved to stop every couple of minutes for snacks so every time we looked back he was a bit behind us lol! It made for a great moment that we will remember and laugh about for years to come! Our guide was very knowledgeable and great with my daughter who despite being nervous beforehand rode like she had been riding her whole life! Proud mama moment for sure!! Their barn cat greeted us when we got back and was all purrs & brushing up against our legs such a little cutie (check out the picture). We got to meet all of the other horses and fed our horses a treat in their buckets after the ride! We had a fantastic time and we really enjoyed the horses and the beautiful scenery! If you love horses whether you're a beginner or just want a great spot to get back in the saddle check this place out for sure! It's a blast!!

We came yesterday and I genuinely can't stop thinking about how special it was…read more I called last minute in the afternoon after my little one woke up from his nap, not really expecting much -- but they fit us in that same day. From the moment we arrived, Ray made us feel so welcome. He had the horse ready for us, walked us through everything, and was so patient and attentive making sure my little one felt safe and comfortable the whole ride. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does. What we didn't expect was everything that came after. We got to explore the petting zoo, meet the farm animals, and then a staff member came over and introduced us to a baby goat that was only a few days old, my little one's face was absolutely priceless. And then the moment that made this visit truly unforgettable, while my son was laughing away on the horse shaped tire swing, I glanced over and noticed a wobbly little goat behind us. Turns out we were witnessing a mama goat giving birth right there in front of us. Completely unplanned, totally magical. My little one got a nature lesson he'll probably never forget. This place has the most wonderful energy and the staff clearly care deeply about both the animals and their guests. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

We got there early and got to pet the goats and feed them. There were chickens, ducks, and bunnies. Emily and Hunter had their cute dogs there who were fun to play with. The instructions were fast but easy to learn and our ride went super well. Thank you for great customer service and a great experience!
