I recently got my 5 month old daughter's ears pierced with Cleo and overall it was fine. As a first time mom, I wanted to make sure whoever was doing my daughter's ears was experience. It was very quick and my baby only cried for a few seconds. I'm giving this place a 3.5/4 stars because of lack of communication. During the piercing appointment, my baby bled from her right ear. As the days followed, it almost looked like her right ear was becoming infected despite me following the cleaning instructions with precision. I wasn't sure if her ear was just healing or in fact becoming infected so I reached out to Cleo in hopes to get feedback or guidance but I never received a reply. I applied a bit of polysporin ointment after every cleaning and I'm confident that helped her ear heal. It's been almost 4 weeks and my baby's ears look great, but I just wish Cleo would have answered to my concern at the time. read more

I would absolutely go here I just pierced my daughters ears and she was 4 months old I was scared and nervous but Cleo was so professional it was clean and she was very thorough. Topical anesthetic was placed on babies ears to ease pain from the procedure. I assisted Ms Kim with keeping my daughter calm during the procedure. Such a great place! I went to get my third ear lobe piercings in both ears and they came out so pretty! Cleo was super detailed and attentive. We talked about how my second piercings were not aligned to each other so she made sure to *actually measure* the distance to see the best solution and make my third ones look similar. I regret taking mine ... she may seem nice and place is clean and all but I haven't seen my baby cry as much as she did yesterday with her piercings not even when she got vaccinations she cried this much it hurt me seeing my baby suffer... this person lied with all her teeth about the price and that "numbing cream" she supposedly used to numb baby's ears, it was probably hand lotion what she used because my baby felt EVERYTHING!! I hope you stop lying and doing baby piercings because you're not gentle or professional in that area... I have been a repeat customer of Cleo. She has done 6 lobe piercings for me, 1 flat and my nose. She is extremely professional and clean. All piercings were done with a needle (which is an industry standard and best practice). She is kind and gives really good education on how to take care of your new piercings. I have brought friends to her and all have been super happy with her service. It's amazing to me that this needs to be said but OF COURSE piercings hurt, OF COURSE you can follow all after care instructions and still get an infection, OF COURSE sometimes you pay a lot of money for a piercing and your body still rejects it. She also asked if I experienced any discomfort. Impromptu I asked her if I could get a cartilage piercing. Fantastic Ear Piercing Experience for my baby. If you go to the website you can book an ear piercing or reach out via Yelp to schedule an appointment (baby appointment $60). I'm not too tech savvy and had no trouble booking through Yelp. She is very communicative and friendly. I had never been inside a Sola Salon building and it was awesome! I saw so many different businesses for hair/barbers/wax/health/beauty. There was a sitting bench nearby Cleopatra's room so we waited. Once it was time she explained in detail the steps. I had brought earrings but unfortunately they weren't going to work out and bought a pair there. FYI. They sell them by each individual earring. $45+. She gave great post care instructions. I knew back when I was pregnant that I wanted to get my now 3 month old's ears pierced here and I was not disappointed. This salon is so clean and the piercer is so generous and precise with her work:) but unfortunately I won't be coming back. I'm not sure if this is only happening to me but a earlobe piercing that I got done here two years ago still has not healed. The needle she uses is so thin that the hole keeps closing up and the hole is also so small that it doesn't let me put on earrings with a thick stick. The backing of the studs I bought here never came off either. I had to cut them off even tho they were $120 because the hole wasn't healing properly and were getting infected. I really love the piercer and salon and I have a great experience when I come here but what I get left with is really something I don't ever want to go through again... read more

They use the old needle method not a gun and it is going to cost you about $200 to have the piercing done. I texted Bora early in the week and she was able to see me the coming Saturday. She has a room inside sola salon and you have to text her to get access into the building. She had a cute selection of earrings that are a bit pricey but I didn't want to risk it with a pair of training studs so I purchased from her. They ended up being super cute. She's very friendly and numbed my ears while I chose a pair of earrings. She's very quick with the piercing needle. I have a relatively good pain tolerance and it felt like a slight jab but nothing bad. She was gloved and masked the whole time and had sterile supplies. I was re-piercing my ears that closed up, if you're the same, make sure she checks your ears for scar tissue before you proceed. She gives aftercare instructions and was super nice when I couldn't find a WiFi signal to venmo her. She let me walk outside and pay her from there. My ears are healing nicely and there just regular soreness when I accidentally touch them but no pain if they're left alone. read more

almost 2 week update: I noticed some items stuck to my baby's earrings and contacted Cleopatra's. She responded immediately and saw me the very next day. She cleaned and sanitized the earrings and patiently showed me how to properly care for the piercing area again. There is no infection, I just didn't know how to do the aftercare correctly. I really wanted to pay for this extra service because it was my own fault to not know how to clean the earrings correctly, but Cleopatra won't take any payment and even offered for me to come back again if this happens again. She reassured me repeatedly she's here for me and my baby and she will take good care of us. I am so thankful I came here for piercing. She is so professional, knowledgeable, and kind! I can't recommend Cleo enough! So sweet, thoughtful, professional and thorough. I came in to have my have my earlobes pierced. It was my second piercing and previously went to Claire's (I know, I know) but they got infected and eventually closed up. She was reassuring that her process was the better way to pierce vs piercing gun and the material of her studs were from Korea so the chance of infection is minimal to none. I told her I have sensitive skin so she helped me choose the perfect 14k gold studs. She also bakes them to sterilize and her instruments are disposable so you know it's clean every time. You do need to put down a $20 deposit when booking an appointment online. This is the same as many small businesses (hair salons, etc.) so it did not come as a surprise to me. The $20 is applied to your total service. You do have to pay for each individual stud and, again, that came as no surprise (peep Nordstrom Bony Levy 14k or 18k studs - you have to either buy them individually or they come as a set for the same price as Cleo's). If you don't like the pricing and think it's too high, then you can go to the mall or Claire's and risk an infection from a non-professional. For things like this, I'd rather pay more to have it done safely...you get what you pay for. Overall, had the most amazing and comfortable experience! read more
