Found this gem of a spot while on a search for someone who has a lot of experience piercing baby ears! I live in North County SD but this spot had a lot of great reviews so I decided to make an appointment through her website and make the trip up here to Irvine. There is a $20 deposit to secure your spot which goes towards your total service costs. Once we got here, we realized that she is located inside the Sola Salon suites. We walked in and she was ready for us & I quickly signed the consent forms. She explained the whole process & how to clean our baby's ears very thoroughly once it was all over. The first step in the process was numbing of the ear lobes. Once that was done, we looked through the jewelry options and chose the earrings we wanted to use. Shortly after that, she started to mark up the ears & made sure we approved of the placement. The piercing itself was quick. My daughter was more upset that we were holding her down vs the piercing process itself. As soon as we were done, my girl was smiling and in a good mood with her new ear bling. The piercing was cleaned and sanitized a few times before we left to make sure the blood was all gone. She even took a bunch of pictures and a video for us at the end to look back on. Super good service... clean & sterile environment as well. My ONLY complaint is that the earrings are pretty pricey but they are 14k gold. We paid around $250ish in total for the piercing and jewelry. She also gives you a complimentary sterilizing spray for aftercare. I have three lobe piercings on both ears, but one of the holes had healed closed a few years ago. It's been on my to-do list to get it repierced for a while now, but I just hadn't gotten around to it. I was free this evening so I Yelped for piercers in my area and Cleopatra was the first one that came up. She had great reviews and was super close to my house and when I checked her bookings page, she had availability in less than an hour. I booked and submitted the $20 deposit and made my way there. Her studio is located in the Sola Salons building within Woodbury Town Center and was super cute and clean. The whole process took maybe 20 minutes (most of which was me trying to figure out which earring I wanted since there were so many cute ones). She began by asking what I wanted. After I explained, she checked my ear for any scarring since I was having it repierced - she explained that if there's scarring she doesn't like to pierce over it but mine looked like it would pierce well. I appreciated that she evaluated if it was a good spot/idea to repierce in her opinion (as the professional) instead of just doing what I wanted. After she evaluated and told me we were good to go, she numbed my ear and I went to pick out my jewelry. Once I picked out my jewelry, she pierced my ear and explained the aftercare instructions thoroughly. The jewelry is on the pricier side (the one I picked out was $100), but she told me it's real gold and I tend to be sensitive to cheap metals anyways, so I didn't mind paying a little more for nice quality earrings that I know won't infect my ears later. The whole process was super easy and smooth and I wish I had done it sooner since I've been procrastinating getting this repierced for so long.
