We got a Groupon and decided to try dinner. The 3 star rating is deceiving because the food was great. My only complaint was the wait staff not knowing the specials or the menu in general and having to go back an forth to the kitchen to find out. I was have to give Clementine's a five because the service there you get this far better than most areas that you go to if you go on Saturday nights there is a great buffet and be sure to talk to the chef Dexter he's a great guy and you always get you a good cut of meat especially the prime rib and then if you stay a little later after eight there is live music and it's just a good place to chill and just take in that music and have fun. The dexter usually cooks the primary him sometimes will have tuna and I baked chicken also have lobster raviolis which is one of my favorites but it's definitely worth going to and having a good meal tell Dexter I said hi. read more

I came in wanting breakfast at 11:45am, and they let me know that they were only serving lunch, but the cook overheard me and said he could try to whip something up if it didn't involve too many breakfast ingredients. Looking to feel like Royalty? Come here! The staff here is truly amazing! Very attentive and extremely kind.. my boyfriend and I wanted to sit outside on a chilly afternoon and it was starting to warm up but still had a brisk breeze kicking so without us asking they attempted turn on the outdoor heater and one had a coil that was out and the other ran out of propane. We were like it's cool but thanks anyways for trying and the owner ran inside and brought out a heat dish for us and a regular actually took the propane from the one that had the coil out and replaced the one that was out. So yeah.. we hadn't even ordered yet and all this was going down. AWESOME SERVICE!! Oh yeah, the food rocks and so does the servers! read more

Clementine's is a "drive-by" restaurant. By that I mean it's the sort of place you're apt to drive by without an inkling of stopping especially in view of the fact it doesn't have roadside frontage tucked away in a mini strip mall on FM 1960 in the Champions area where there are multiple restaurants on every block. I ended up dining there because I met a friend who has been patronizing Clementine's for many years. I enjoyed the experience so much so that I returned a second time. Clementine's is open for lunch and dinner. The owner is in the store and I had a chance to chat with him at length and learn the backstory of how he decided to open the restaurant, which was intriguing. For my money's worth Clementine's is a good value. Their food is pretty decent; try their salads. This is not the most exciting place you can imagine to dine at still it's worth giving them a try if you are looking for someplace different and locally owned. read more

When you're at Clementine's, it's like you're in Italy. The atmosphere, the staff, and the wonderful food. I'm hooked on the Chicken Parmesan. I have never been disappointed with Clementine's until my last visit 6/24/18. We arrived around 2:30. The air did not seem to be working properly. Servers. seemed stressed, which I can understand. My husband ordered breakfast . He ordered well done eggs and sausage. The eggs were runny and sausage was so hard he couldn't cut it with knife. Server brought another serving and it was just as hard. My chicken salad could have been better also. We have eaten at Clementine's numerous times, this was my first disappointment. read more

I've been patronizing Clementine's since it was a mere sandwich shop in the '80s, and have seen it expand, and expand, and expand -- to several times the floor space it once had -- to patio dining -- to a banquet hall -- and a fine menu. All that, and a piano bar or other entertainment a few nights a week. I've been to more than one banquet, and look forward to more "excuses" for dining there. My wife and ate there last weekend when we bought a Groupon. We didn't expect much considering its in a strip mall. But I have to say that the blackened redfish was excellent. My wife ate the scallops and shrimp and she said they were grilled perfectly. We had chocolate cake and peach cobbler for dessert. Both homemade and very good. Also, the pricing was relatively low considering the quality and the portion sizes. I've been back for breakfast and they make some of the best eggs Benedict in town. Excellent place! After locating to the area I discovered this place and have been hooked ever since. This is great place! Always am able to walk in and be seated. Great food fantastic service! Clementine's advertises in our parish bulletin. I saw they had a prime rib buffet on Saturday's. We went this past weekend and had a wonderful time. Besides the tasty prime rib they had cold shrimp (yummy) and a full salad assortment, other entrees and side dishes and dessert (bread pudding - good). Worst breakfast I've ever eaten. Eggs Benedict had a "hollandaise" that looked like a glob of butter and tasted worse than it looked. Plus it was ice cold and when I asked to warm it I was told no because it doesn't warm well. Grits were tasteless and may have been an instant variety. WOW How did I never know this place was here. I came for dinner on a monday night and it was slow. There were about 3 tables of people in the place but I got there kinda early it was 6:30p. The service was fast yet perfect. Our waitress was quick to get us our drinks. We ordered the onion rings which were made in house and came out hot and good.I had the house special that night which was the chicken marsala and it was perfect. I also tried some of my dinner mates chicken fried steak which was really good. The dinner salad came perfectly between the appetizer and plate and out waitress was so attentive and friendly. I have lived in this area for years and have never noticed this place hidden behind the Walgreens. I am totally coming back. Prices as very reasonable. For the same cost at a big chain like Chili's or Applebee's you can come here and have well made food. read more

I absolutely LOVE this place! I have never been disappointed! The waitresses and waiters know us and they are always so happy to see us! They have watched my son grow up from when he was a month old to now being 2! The food is absolutely amazing! Fresh food and quality service! You can't go wrong with that. My favorite thing to get is the country style omelet that comes with the omelet, toast and fried potatoes (not sure how to explain it). You won't regret coming here! The only down fall for some maybe that they only do breakfast on the weekends but it makes sense due to week days more people would probably only come for lunch. read more

Just finished eating here. Ribeye had an overpowering Gorgonzola sauce on it. I could barely taste the meat. Wife's tilapia was just ok, not bad though. My husband and I used a Groupon for dinner tonight. I had the penne tetrazzini and my husband had the steak with Gorgonzola sauce. We shared tiramisu. Everything was correctly cooked and the appetizer, fried mushrooms, was hot and freshly made. The tiramisu was a version that was made with ice cream, but the portion was reasonable and it was good. Service was polite and attentive but not intrusive. Decor was pleasant and the tables were spaced far enough apart that my husband and I were able to easily converse. We will definitely go back!
